Yesterday I got gapped by an exp share dark bear and stacking hoopa trio so yeah
Yeah, I decided to turn against them as I went solo queue all the time now and have to rely on luck if my random teammates are good to help me make up my mistakes while I helped back in perfect succession.
So many fools defend this kind of matchmaking saying that "it just means your skill tier is high enough that you must face squads of equal level" bla bla. Literally the problem In all moba where devs need to sacrifice the few to keep the many happy. Like there's no way in hell that they don't have enough solo queue at any given time to fill a full lobby. Even it is not, I am okay to wait 30mins to get a fair, 10min, fun game!
Yeah ranked should just be divided in solo and duo/trio.
if duo/trio need not to get into solo players then i think there's no way the game starts i mean like if this happens just once a day is fine right? cuz no way the game match mechanics always finds a trio v duo probably it'll search trio v double solo or maybe duo v triple solo, i mostly play with my frnd so we start the game duo then mostly we loose whatever we do mostly we'll be the one to do most dmg and score tho we loose to other team dawgg, maybe I'm wrong abt the game matchmaking mechanics?!, c'mon cris tell me, but I stand either way I can't agree with u cris and at the same time can't deny u, it's just the game mechanics that's fked up, ri8?

Yeah it is really frustrating to play with trios as a solo but there are also just the ones that just like to play with friends (these are the one's Cris usually has in his team) and than are there the sweaty try hards that do that for easy wins. So while removing it would be the best balance wise I don't think to many people would be happy with that, So the next best thing I could think of would be making a 3rd option for trio/duo and remove them from solo
yeah absolutely. I dont know why Timi cant do such a simple thing . Just make seperate ques for duos and trios.
I'm not sharing an opinion, I'm actually curious. Why trios specifically? Are squads in different lobbies?
And also is a lack of communication supposed to be a part of soloQ ?
@@willgloryo216im assuming u mean 5stack vs 5stack, in which case nobody is a solo and everyone is playing for each other rather than trio lane+jungler bullying poor solo qs in the enemy lane
@@willgloryo216soloq is random teammates…so yeah hard to communicate besides pings, and people don’t usually use voice chat
Tbh its the game fault.
Firstly of course the lobby for solo and squad being the same.
Secondly the matchmaking. Like why tf you would think one side having 45% wr trio on one side and a 50+ wr on other is a fair game just coz the solo players of the weaker duo is good?
I mean playing with randoms is really infuriating so i understand people will look for players they can trust to play with and 5 stacks have become rare as many players have left the game and trusting newer players is hard and queueing time has became quite longer too.
Trios or duos only give advantage if they are actively communicating to each other. If u just randomly team up someone in game it's same as playing solo. But yeah if they are communicting through voice call its no fun to be up against them

I got a trio q that was slowbro, comfey and zoroark. Neither of them did anything and kept inting, zoroark was overconfident, comfey left lane after first gank to either only stay on zoroark or (rarely) on slowbro 💀💀💀💀💀
people think ranked points bring you to worlds
It's so simple to balance this issue but Timi are idiots. Make 3 types of queue: pair trios ONLY with duos (and vice versa), a queue only for 5 stacks and a queue only for solo. Will it take longer to find a match? Probably but it'll be worth it.
This is why I don’t play unite a lot as I used to
maybe it's because I just play so much more SoloQ but whenever I do play with friends I try my best to stay fair and just help out where my team needs me most, I will detach from my friends as Comfey to help other members and such

Apparently nothing can be done in these situations and in these scenario only thing you can do is make sure you dont die in ur lane and pray that the trio of your team on other lane won and if that does not happen then its gg

I have a group of close friends who make up a team of 5 for ranked but because of our different schedules most of the times it is just 4 of us but since the game doesn't let 4 people to match in ranked so amongst us 4, one of us decides to not play until we have a 5th player because we're all usually just playing for the fun and experience rather than to win.
remove it or make Party q option only for 2/3 and solo/duo then 5 man team
Ngl, trios who are Picking broken picks are literally playing for the win not for the fun, thats so well known and nobody can deny it

ive played mobas for 8+ years, and everytime i complain about 4-5 man premades (in SMITE for example) i always get the same excuse, like one thing is playing with friends and other thing is playing EXCLUSIVELY on the max premade allowed, like in SMITE for example i know players that have played 500+ games in a row exclusively on a 5 man premade, they have a clan of smurfs and make sure to always play on 5 man premades, then i complain and get the good ol "im just playing with friends" my ass, they also dont even try to have fun, they go the most cancer sweaty comps known to man IN CASUAL, you'd think since they already have a massive handicap they'd go for fun strategies, nope.

I had a bad trio. Enemy chosen mimkyu and umbreon and comfey, while I had yawn snorlax and cinderace(their freaken leader) and all rounder. Jungler Gank bot path(the allies) while the enemy trio gank us. I avoid them helplessly but to score to catch up on levels. Mid game, both objectives about to spawn. They choose top over bot even though their 1st tier is up. The whole enemy team came to bot so we have to reteat. The trio got regieleki just to break 1 tier goal. The enemy get better exp than what they! It doesn't make sense! We were underleveled, so why they choose top over bot, early game you ditch us, but mid game your now going top with less exp. Please get rid of dou/trio!
So that's why ppl keep resetting in solo Q to get the team they wanted

You know I don't hate trios that much. Only if they know how to play well, I mean the trios that are in my team know how to play well.

I only play trios because the game isn’t fun without my friends, but I almost always gank the solo que lane because I trust my teammates. Am I only 50% cringe?
The biggest issue with "i just want to play with my friends" is... i play solo, i jist want to play solo. I dont wamt to have all my impact on the game made completely void by the fact that 3 people on the enemy team are completely sweating it out whilst 3 people on my team are the most brainless idiots the game has seen. So while you get to "play with your friends" i simply dont get to play. And thats the crux of the issue
And for context: even when i get the "good" trio queue, which doesnt happen, but lets pretend it does. The game is still completely outside of my control. It all comes down to what trio queue is better
While I do understand the frustration and its reasons, the fault lies with the developers of the game. I have exactly 2 close friends that play unite, you're telling me I should just play solo or exclude one of them just for the sake of being less frustrating to soloQ players? It doesn't make any sense, the game's matchmaking is to blame for this.
I do think trios that just pair up to win games with broken combos are cringe though, but not all of them are like that, some people just want to have fun with their friends and that's all.

I don't even play with others but this game is so deprived of content that everyone just complains about the pettiest things
Good players attract good players. Bad players attract other bad players. So when you get a trio you can see what kind of group you have. I think playing in trio/duo (even 5’s) should reward diminished returns in rank points depending on the amount of people you choose to queue up with; with solo rewarding the most rank points per win. At the very least the leader boards won’t impossible for solo players.
That’s not true at all. If you’re the high mmr player, the chances you get to carry the brainless trio is really high, because the system will “balance” the match with the tryhard trio as your opponents.

Cris I normally don’t push back on a lot of your takes, but I 100% play with some of my homies because they are my friends first. They are not the best players, but they are my boys, and just want to have fun.

@@LiveGoDaYDaYs Yep, but for some odd reasons, the game doesn´t count it always ig. I ate sitrus, go back to base to heal, lifesteal and had a band on. And the game still said 0% healing. Is this a common bug? Im so confused.

Trios need a separate lobby. New game mode idea. Trio mayhem. 3v3, or 6v6. Each half of jungle gets you to level 5, so you can have two junglers in the 6v6. Buff the hp of the wild Pokemon in jungle so it takes similar time to clear 1/2 of it. What do y'all think?
I don't like people much, and my game is ruined by these guy's. Solo players should have an option to see justice with duos or trios like this. It's absolutely horrible. Although it's funny when one solo's and gets destroyed. Shows exactly what skill level therd is involved. Nothing.
