Cutting sill plate with Norwood mill for Mid Coast Maine barn restoration

My older brother Lowell is restoring a 200 year old Mid Coast Maine historical barn almost single-handed. Not only that, he is cutting and milling all the lumber on his Norwood mill from his 86 acre farm! This seven minute long video shows the time and labor it takes to cut a single sill plate and some 1" thick boards. And I paused the video several times while he was cutting.
