Dear Ingrid,…. In short,….Please write me.
I know this may seem like a bizarre angle to come from here, but I just don’t know how else to get in touch with you in a meaningful way. so I am trying you here……..It’s just that I am personally so tired of observing what I experience as HIGHASAKITE getting ( for whatever reason) massively underexposed in the US. market. As such, as a musician and individual producer with broad knowledge of the industry,…..I’ve decided to take on the task of going full time to change that dynamic by myself with the cooperation of others in the industry for one simple reason……You deserve it.
I am a life long musician/ (keyboardist)producer and composer who has been considered not so much by myself, but by others to be a musical prodigy since I was 4 years old……Though I am hyper critical (just not so much outwardly so ), about the waning talent of musicians, I am also keenly sensitive to the genius and creativity of various artists in the field as well as their production instincts and musical ideologies and theories etc….. The last 30 years have been a disaster for the development of talent in musicians and creativity in general it seems, ….. mostly because of the abuse of power and greed that the Mega Labels took the liberty of entitling themselves to in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s eventually requiring many musical acts to know little about music or production whatsoever, thereby giving us an entire generation of “artists” many of whom have little to no musical prowess whatsoever because the labels grew so attached to the rapidly advancing technology of so easily being able to “fix it in the mix” .
Well you can fix a lot in the mix, but you can’t simply conjure up raw talent from that dependency. So finding musical individuals who actually know what it is that they are doing, striving to write, hear, and achieve as. They go along in the production process has become a bit of a lost art for many who’ve not been properly educated. Thus their sterile, but “ certainly well fixed” music……ugh!!!!
Then,…..I can’t even remember now how it happened, but somehow, somewhere, I run across you guys….and my jaw hits the floor….. My jaw hasn’t hit the floor in 25 years! You’ve got it, your numbers over here don’t reflect it at ALL, and that just simply needs to change in light of the massive amount of talent you all bring to the art and the joy you clearly bring to so many in Europe. The emotional outpouring that that gushes from people that have had a chance to become familiar with your music is not exclusive to a European crowd.
Despite our incredible shortcomings and failures that have been so disgustingly exploited by an ex President who disgraced our country in unspeakable ways, American yearn now more than ever for a way back to the beauty of empathetic feeling and an appreciation for the experiential touchstone that only a specific sliver of music can deliver. You, your writing, your heartfelt delivery of of your songs and the remarkable depth of production knowledge possessed by all the members of the band are a rarity in todays world. Tron is incredible in his delivery and composition of rhythm and selection of tonal colors he chooses to bring into the mix. There isn’t and hasn’t been a weak link in the lot of you. You are all simply as gifted as any set of musician s as ANY set of musicians as I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a world of them.
I would very much like to work with whoever your A & R person is, your publicist, producer, booking agent, etc. to get the fire lit and see what we can do to get a full blown U.S. Tour going with yourselves headlong the tour along with some other major European names. A traveling Scandinavian Woodstock in America that I’d an absolute blowout. It would be great to have some of the other huge Norwegian names, but HIGHASAKITE must be the headliner. Otherwise it’s not going to take shape the way it needs to to go viral.
If you are interested, and would lie to start seeing the view count and the bank account of the band’s brand take off. This is where to start. But you need someone who is going to push like a pit bull in the industry to get you into the venues that you so richly deserve to be playing in over here. I cannot escape the reality that an en5ire generation is being deprived of exposure and the joy that is inevitable that comes with getting to know and love you and the band. Please give the U.S. a chance. Together, we can get the ball rolling in a direction that will change millions of lives, and I personally believe , the empathy of the soul of the planet, for the better.
If you visit my home pages, you will get a more than ample idea of who I am to you and why.
I anxiously await the opportunity to discuss the possibility of working with you to further this projects goal.
Pease respond to this by sending a generic email 5o a generic mail box I have setup @ Patthoven2002@yahoo.com. and if we choose to further communications, we can further exchange more personalized email addresses and move into texts whenever if appropriate.
In any case. It would be nice to know that I’m no longer accountable for half the play counts on too many titles of yours on UA-cam😉. You deserve so much more. Please give my best and warmest regards to the the rest of the band.
    Blessings,
    Patrick D.
I jotted this down in quite a hurry as I’m out the door. please forgive any grammatical errors☺️

Good luck Patrick. They are super amazing. They definitely should be heaps bigger, but they do have some high play counts on Spotify.
Also... I didn't know that it was possible to write so much in a UA-cam comment.
