People in India like the channels who upload videos in 2-3 days... It's kind of weird but more you show the daily routines or the different places nearby you show your friends and family visits... People suddenly take interest in these kind of videos.. even if you are going to shop your groceries people like to watch ... Because lots of UA-camrs in India got their subscribers increased by showing their daily routines around the workplace environment and their family... I think this concept applies to western countries also ... That's how they increase their subscribers... Even if you are doing nothing upload a day videos doing the stuff you do to spend your time 😂 don't know why people prefer this! But this works 100% guarantee... The more you upload videos more you earn the subscribers
That's great but we make travel videos and as life cost money we currently don't have time to make that many videos. We normally post twice a weeks but have been on a little break for the last couple of weeks spending time with family. One video of ours take 20 hours to edit and we also have to work and make money as well as setting up our website. It's more than a full-time.job all together that pays very little. Thanks for your input though 😊🙏
That's great you have been trying so hard and always be together... Try to save more money ... As much as you can and for couple of months become a full time UA-camr... Lots of students in India are studying for government exams and learning English on UA-cam even I had been preparing for that you can teach some phrases or idioms or different stuffs... In a different way because in India most of the new generation is focusing on both entertainment and learning! They will definitely like it!
You can do teaching or give basic lessons on English on weekends.... Most of the Indian UA-cam teaching channels like - Study smart. Got 1M subscribers in a year. They didn't had resources and gave very basic knowledge on Maths.
We are fulltime travellers and nearly fulltime youtubers. We just don't earn much from it yet. Alex works online so that's how we earn our money and can travel fulltime. Anyways. Thanks for all your tips.
Alex teaches English online. When we travel in Asia it covers half of our expenses so it's not enough. It's a balance you know, because when we travel in some places we can't teach as we need good internet connections and also TIME. But we'll get there. We're currently trying to set up a website and will try to generate money that way as well 🙏
Ohhh!! What a coincidence. Today I am watching your blog after exact 1 yr, and first time!!!!. I hope your full year was good and you accepted as it is! If not without reading or watching any other blogs.... I would wish you good luck still and ask you to accept it as it is!! As I saw some of the foreign bloggers in India have been making lots of negative videos, making fun of poverty, using them, making mockery of them, using them to get more and more likes!!! May be your answeres are out of your perceptions also. You know India is not only 135 Cr country- BUT culture and style changes after every 50 km of travel... so you have to just enjoy and accept and NOT be a judgmental about someone's' lifestyle! Isn't it a kind of racism? typically seen in western countries?? Come on- how can one use existing people and their life and their poverty and then comes their behavior, or hardship/obligation, or even their bargaining ways.... Do you all know 60% of India stays in Villages... and you must respect their way of living and style they work or behave and should not make jokes or mockery out of it.... Do you know Hollywood have made films to win Oscar for this!!!!!!! So be careful to explain before record on your cam and show it to the World!!!?? The past Bloggers must apologies to India and its people.... I wish if you all Western bloggers can revisit India with new attitude and help India build its Global image- I know you have made it hence I am daring to post my message, as I am content advisor also and doing quality checks and keep suggesting to only those who can digest my advice... you both are pretty and wish you good luck. You can have some Global peace or Green or such objective also.
We said we were going to do a final summary as well, but hopefully if people watch our channel they will have seen all the good and cool stuff mixed in our shared experiences. We loved and didn't love the same things. I feel bad if we ended up coming off too negative in our videos as we did have some truly amazing times and met some beautifully kind people. It really is such a fascinating country and there is so much to go back and see. I will say that we did see a lot of the intense poverty around Delhi and that and the trash "disposal" overall was really hard for us of, but especially eye opening and shocking for our kids. We don't mind saying that we would not recommend females solo traveling there, I would not have felt safe alone and we did feel unsafe several times even as a group of 6 unfortunately. I think it'd be difficult to not have the chance of hard things when there are just SO many people in a country though. But the good people, the smiles, the FOOD, the spirituality, the history, the colors, etc., so amazing!!! Thanks for sharing your UA-cam info. It's crazy how much time it takes. I, Tam, do ours as well and it is a full time job for sure!
We definitely saw poverty but we had expected something much worse. We started our India trip in Varanasi which is one of the most intense places you can visit as it's the most important spiritual city in India. We ended up loving it and after that we were prepared for anything. Now, we didn't go to Dehli or Agra so we can't compare to those places but we believe that our mindset arriving in India with very low expectations on cleanliness and poverty helped a lot. Also, we had just recently been to Myanmar, where we experienced more poverty than in India and it's really different there.
@@TimezoneJunkies We only crossed the border into Myanmar a few times, but I can imagine. Cambodia was hard that way too. We had one apartment overlooking a slum and I'd just sit in my room not able to look away. I hated the feeling of sitting in my place looking down on such rough living conditions. We saw things we didn't imagine in Delhi, even thinking we were somewhat prepared after reading and watching different things. It's a lot to take in.
UA-cam just stopped putting your videos in the recommended list after you left india....I don't understand UA-cam algorithm. Most of the people will not search the channel, they will just watch what comes on the screen when they open UA-cam!!
We left India in May but have been posting our India videos up until two weeks ago, the. We had a break and now we've posted this video. The reason this video doesn't go there algorithm is most likely because it's long. We can see how many minutes people watch on an average and the percent people have watched of this video is low, very low, so that's why it doesn't get recommended. Watch time is one of the most important factors to get pushed through algorithm.
@@TimezoneJunkies ohh...i thought UA-cam is not showing this video on top of list just because you are uploading from different country. Thanks to point out thatbretention period makes the difference. People usually run away after watching first 10 12 minutes and then UA-cam algorithm changes priority.
One day you will remember me as your best friend who gave you best advice when you will reach 1M subscribers. Just try to stay active most of the time in UA-cam
Have you got a UA-cam channel with 1 million subscribers? Just wondering. We appreciate your advice but if you don't have a channel yourself you probably don't know how it actually works. on UA-cam. How the algorythm works, what click rate is and how much it pays in different countries. What the competition looks like etc. As we said. Thanks for the advice but we've done this for a long time and not everyone get huge on UA-cam in the same way or as fast.
Guys, since you both said some honest things, so i would like to put forward some honest views from me 1. Yes, views from India get a really really low earnings BUT it's better to have Indian viewers than less or no viewers! Your content should be much more competitive to attract US/Europe viewers rather than "Indian viewers". 2. I have been following your videos since long. The thing I like about you guys is that you both are honest from the heart BUT there are times in which you said things which was not good from an Indian's perspective. Maybe you guys realised it or maybe not. But do try to be a little bit sensitive. 3. I am seeing a little bit of overconfidence in you guys. Although confidence is good, overconfidence is not! I wanted to say these points since long but abstained from saying so. Anyways, your channel is growing and that's what matters. Being in a similar genre as you, it makes me happy when I see travel channels growing. All the best for your future endeavors.
Not going to get in to everything you mentioned but will cover the confidence thing and the Indian views thing. You're not completely right about it. We're not overconfident in a European perspective but maybe from an Indian perspective. We try to be very respectful to everyone we meet and whilst in India we had only positive responses from the Indians we befriended on our travels. Remember that videos are somewhat "angled" as you fit in a whole days or several days filming to 15-20 minutes. There will always be things missing and we might not be able to show the whole picture because we don't film everything. Remember that intros sand outros make take many takes of shooting and that those parts of our videos are us acting rather than speaking naturally. We always praise the people we meet in the countries we travel through and India has not been any different. We've delivered our views about India in a very positive way compared to many other vloggers. Some Indian viewers don't have any complaints and some do. That's just how it is and if we follow all our Indian viewers advice we wouldn't be able to make videos as we wouldnt be able to say anything as SOMEONE would alwas be offended or misunderstand our message. We can't please everyone. We've been very misunderstood by Indian viewers compared to other nationalities. We've received the most beautiful comments from Indians but also the nastiest we've ever received from any nationality. We filter our comments and many of them get deleted before they end up under our videos. Many of you guys are also very insensitive towards us. At least we show our faces and don't hide behind a screen just typing. We're not aming our channel to only the people in the countries we travel through but towards a western audience as we want to show parts of the world that the west have a wrong idea about our know little about. That's why we hitchhike for example. However, countries like India and the Philippines are countries where you'll get local views regardless of how you make your videos and what focus you have. Thanks for your input but remember that on UA-cam you don't get the whole picture and what one people find offensive another doesn't. 😊😊😊😊😊
@@TimezoneJunkies Hi Malin, I believe it must surely be you penning down such a lengthy and lovely message :-) Appreciate it for your time spent. Regarding your experiences of some Indians giving nastiest remarks, I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart on behalf of them. It's true, some Indians have no sense of mannerism and civic sense. Those people are spoiling the names of Indians in India and abroad. And like you said, it's also true that you simply cannot please anyone. And it's not required also. Let people keep their noses to themselves. Anyways, I had observed one thing in some of your videos and that's the only reason I felt hurt and messaged you. Improve this thing and you guys will be one of the best travel vloggers out there. The thing is that you guys give a damn to some people in your videos. It seems that you have a superior air about being an European and you feel that Indians are... well just Indians. (I hope you got my point). Anyways, no hard feelings. Won't be disturbing you again. Just blurted my heart out as it was disturbing me from quite some time. All the best for your future endeavours. Do give my regards to Alex. Happy Travelling!
One thing i would like to say u guys is giving views on ur videos is on our hands. Thats we Indians are doing. But the money u get from views is decided by youtube. So please stop complaining about it n ask youtube why they r doing that..because we are blamed for something which is not in our hands.
We're not complaining we're just informing people. We've got a lot of comments that we earn a lot of money on UA-cam in India which we don't and most people don't know that it works like this. It's not UA-cam that doesn't pay for Indian views. It's the adverts.put on the videos that are low paying in India. It's when you guys watch the ads and click on them that we get payed. We would never complain. We knew this before we went to India so we didn't expect to get rich, but it's important that people now how it works.
@@TimezoneJunkies i will say that it is youtube only which decides finally the money beacsuse if youtube fix minimum price for all advertisers in all around the world then there won't be inequality. But since youtube understand that India is still developing country and advertisers their can't pay like developed economies in America and Europe .so they fix less. Price and which need to be understood by all youtubers..(India is developing country n just 70 years old)
N hope u dont take my perspective in a. Negative way...see.in a. Country where it is cheap to travel n have food. Obviously will be cheap in giving. Money in youtube.. America and Europe traveling is like travelling 4 times in India.. So obviously advertisers will pay u more coz u r. Spending more..
Exactly and the Indian ads are low paying. So there you got it. We would never blame Indian people. We are shocked that you think that we do. Have a very nice day. 🙏😊
And it's not about where you travel. If we travel in India we want American views as they pay. Big western UA-camrs have western subscribers. We are travel UA-camrs and want to show the countries we travel to to people who don't live there, not to locals. So you are right and you're wrong. We have friends with western followers who watch them wherever they go so these people earn lots on UA-cam. Even though we appreciate our Indian viewers we would have preferred western people to watch our India videos as we make them for them to see what India is like. Generally you only get lots of local views in India and the Philippines. When we travel other parts of Asia most our views are from westerners.
As we mention in this video we're no longer in India. We travelled around India for 2 months earlier this year and have since then visited other countries. Thanks for watcing!
We wanted to answer most of the questions we got. This is not a vlog in the same sense as our other video but an informative video about our travels, time in India and what UA-cam is really like. We're back posting our normal vlogs tomorrow. Don't forget to watch it! 😀
Hello! to both thanks for told that who is the editor and you are doing a great job Malin Wishing you roam more countries safely and explore the new palaces sending love from india 🌹🙏
You travel whole India without spending any money. and got a lot of money from UA-cam by uploading Indian poverty videos . If feel some good conscience in your mind why not spend some money for Indian charity against poverty.
Biju Abraham excuse me but we don’t hitchhike to save money. We do it to show people that kindness exists everywhere in the world. We talk about wha we earn on UA-cam in this video. We average in between 15 to 50 usd per months so believe us it’s not making us rich. Also we spent 2 months in India and we hitchhiked for 10 days only. The rest was one flight between Varanasi and Udaipur, a bus to Rishikesh, another bus from McLeod ganjnto amritsar, taxis and tuk tuks. We also obviously flew to India and paid for that flight, paid big money for our Indian visas, paid for all our food, shopped in local shops, are in restaurants and stayed in hotel and guest houses and paid for entrance fees to several sites. You should probably watch the whole video and many of our other videos before you make such a statement and find out what hitchhiking is all about. We actually spend more time and money hitchhiking sometimes than I’d we go on a bus or train, especially in India where it’s so cheap for us. So again, no we’re not travelling around India for free and we don’t hitchhike to save money. Happy Diwali 🙏😊
@@TimezoneJunkies I'm sorry for this mans illogical comments.Feel free to hitchhike in India anytime anywhere. It's really interesting to watch people hitch hiking

Hii love from India Bihar love you ❤❤
Hi there 😀
Dear respected sir/madam.
Respect from whole country.

Very nice to know these things! Enjoy being at 'home' 😘
Thanks guys! 😊🙏
so sweet couple and soooo many love for both
Thanks for watching this 😊
UA-cam just stopped putting your videos in the recommended list after you left india....I don't understand UA-cam algorithm.
We were uploading from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan before. Not India. It hasn't got to do with that at all.

Did you miss us?
@@TimezoneJunkies yep yep
We're back. We were just on a short little break but there should be videos coming more frequently again. So don't stop watching!
Nice one me from India

@@TimezoneJunkies Thank u for replayed.
Mam and sir you are so cuit
Love you 😎😚😚
Thank you! That is so sweet! 😀
Eye sense strong love to you in his eyes.
You are lucky!
Guys, since you both said some honest things, so i would like to put forward some honest views from me
@@TimezoneJunkies Hi Malin, I believe it must surely be you penning down such a lengthy and lovely message :-)
Appreciate it for your time spent.
I'm so missing you Indian vlogs.
That's nice to hear. Hope you'll keep watching our vlogs even though we're not in India anymore 😊
@@TimezoneJunkies
I'm Indian from utter Pradesh prayagraj.
Yes we know! You always comment on our videos. 😀
GUESTS ARE GOD.
Thanks! And thanks for watching our video 😊
Come in India
