I had read this story, only difference being that Magandhiya and her relatives were put in holes in the ground with their heads sticking out, and were burnt using hay. its a story with so many angles to think about.......... the patience, compassion, acceptance, karma....... and how we as unenlightened people would have reacted at each problem. Its one of the most inspirational stories outside of the jathaka tales.
