I'm sure it's been mentioned below, but with my Samsung Buds 2, using the LAB volume control feature, I tap the back of my ear and it works PERFECT every time. I found all the tap control options intuitive and easy. Just ordered my Buds2 Pro, received a $75 trade in from Samsung on my Bud 2 AND a free wireless charger. Despite all the comments about Samsung being behind the curve feature wise....it's good enough for me. Something about a familiar great product with nice improvements is a good thing in my opinion

Man I'm still using the Galaxy buds from like 3 generations ago and love them... Bought the newer ones and returned them because there just wasn't anything that revolutionary for the price. I'm with you, I love gadgets and tech but buds are buds to me, if they're comfortable and sound decent then I'm good
None Of Samsung Buds Are Beating The Sound Of My WillSound MK2 And They Only Cost $35.00 US
The double tap lab setting works with tapping the mastoid process of temporal bones too ( located just behind our external ear) and I find it rather useful as this work even if the touch surface is disabled.
And the widget for the Wear app is really good. Try it, won't disappoint.
You guys were awesome on this review I really appreciate categorized sections you went over with. Audio is something I'm passionate about. Store Manager here too I test out phones through my own categorizes too but this was great!

Lol did the same trade in. But I have another pair but lost case reason got another pair. Also have the buds 2 and 2 pairs of buds pro. Not added buds 2 pro. If seem this id probably not have gotten them. Oh well I like the fit of the buds 2 over the pros. So ill be fine with 2 pro
At 3:44 there is a comment made in terms of possibly Allergic reactions caused by the current Samsung TWS. There is a lot of related information available on the Internet in terms of this issues and Samsung was also subject to numerous lawsuits. I think the expectation is clearly that Samsung this time did not use any materials in the new TWS which cause sever allergic reactions for Customers. For me personally this is still a reason to avoid buying the current Samsung TWS.

Even Bud2 Pro's Earbuds don't come out or fall out when I shake my head "vigorously" side to side ( horizontally ) or up & down ( vertically )...
They Just Don't Feel Secure...
They Pass Fit Test in Wear App...
They Sound Very Good...
Noise Isolation Is Good...
Noise Cancellation Good...
But Just Feel Like Could Fall Out...
( At Wrong Time & Worst Location )
I'm Used to Buds with Wings that lock inside the ear...
While they don't come out when shaking my head, I'm concerned if they did come out while hiking, climbing, cycling, etc... They Would be lost Forever ( out of reach / access )...

At $110, would you say these are the best at this price or would you guys recommend anything else?
I wish Sony's were more compact. It's the only reason I go with Samsung. I don't need them more than 3-4 hours at a time, and I need them to be concealable. While I appreciate the good and honest criticism, I still think Samsung makes the most well rounded wireless earbuds. They even updated the Buds 2 to have the Pro features. Apple would never do that and Sony might. Unless they just don't fit, you can't beat the Buds 2 for $130. They're not as bulky as the Samsung Pros, WF-1000 XM4, or the weird Airpod stems, half the price as any high end model, the volume control ear touch works 90% of the time, and the sound quality is good (though Sony takes the cake as usual with LDAC.)

Bought buds 2 last week, pre-ordered buds 2 pro yesterday. Connectivity stability, sound quality and comfort is what i care. Buds 2 pop out when i bench press.

I always feels like they are going to fall off my ears, but somehow they still remain in place. I wish the medium tip was just a bit bigger, just not as big as the larger tips.
@@Jside68 True I kinda wish the medium was slightly bigger, on my left ear anyways. Still, not really had any problems and I used them all day today.
Turning on transparency mode makes my buds disappear but turning it off doesn’t make them come back. I don’t remember this feature in previous versions. 🤔

wait…if you can’t adjust the equalizer on an iphone….can i just connect them to my android phone to set the settings that i want and then just reconnect them to my iphone ?

I just bought the buds 2 pro at Best Buy refurbished (really returns) for $108 total. Best buy has them listed online for 99.99 so of course I had to grab them.
I didn’t know you guys had a pair of the buds Live… if I had known I wouldn’t have recommended them in the comment section in another video I’m sorry😂

At full price I wouldn't touch these buds. But Samsung offered such a great pre-order deal, coupled with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, that I thought they were worth a punt, especially as they are my first pair of Galaxy Buds. Luckily I have a Samsung phone so should be interesting to see how they work (especially in comparison to my Lypertek z5 and Momentum True Wireless 2 buds). As always cheers for a great review.

Watch 5 is bad in sensors than 4, battery can be improved but at the moment is worse than 4
That is exactly my situation, with the zflip4 preorder I was able to get the buds2 pro and the gw5 at 50% off. $95 CAD for the buds was a good deal for me. My old Jabra 75T still works fine, and I will miss the multipoint feature that my 4 years old Jabra provide.

They're not worth the price for sound alone. They are way more comfortable and secure though.
How would you compare the sound quality to the Sennheiser Momentum 3 and the B&O Beoplay Ex?
Also do you feel the Beoplay Ex ANC (arguably it's greatest weak point) is something B&O can improve down the line?
Don't think they can fix ANC with an update, although it has happened with other brands before, so who's to say! 🤷♂️
Multipoint doesn't require google or a google account. It works with any 2 bluetooth trasmitting devices. Like TV's, home stereos, or anything.

Thanks lads. Good to know what I'll be giving to my over-privileged kids who don't care that the buds were free with my latest phone and also, they don't honestly know a damn thing about GOOD or even GREAT audio, so there's that.
The changes in buds now seem to be incrementally small between iterations. Until we get a new Bluetooth compliance we're not going to see any major changes in any of these buds.

I've been listening back and forth between buds 2 pro and airpods 3 and while the airpods 3 sound good the Buds 2 pro sound even better even at lower volumes .
How did you get samples for mic test? I think the sample of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is very natural sound. It seems not sample of voice call.

I did like the original Galaxy Buds Pro and if I get the Buds 2 Pro I have a feeling I might regret it and just go back to my XM4's. But I'm glad I watched your video, I'll see if I make up my mind. There's nothing I think I'm missing aside from the fit, I feel the Buds 2 Pro may be a bit more comfortable. Thanks for responding!

Great job! I have the Galaxy Buds Pro & 1000XM4 as my daily drivers. There isn't enough here to call this a meaningful upgrade over the Buds Pro. Especially when the older model can be had for 1/2 the price.

@@theyojo1656 I like the Galaxy Buds Pro more. They're smaller and have a much better IPX rating. They're also like 1/2 the price of the XM4. The XM4 has stronger bass though.

@@theyojo1656 I slightly prefer the XM4 as they have a warmer sound with heavier low end. The Galaxy Buds Pro sound more neutral and "correct".
Same with me i changed between them the Sony sound quality is amazing! but i do like the Samsung buds pro alot as well because they are less bulky and lighter and the touch controls work well for me, one of the features i like more on the Buds Pro is the fact you can have forwards and backwards skip as well as volume up and down and noise cancelling all at the same time. With the Sony even though they have a large enough touch pad, your stuck between volume up and down and skip forwards and backwards and then have to have speak to chat active for active noise cancellation, which sometimes goes off unnecessarily. That is the only one trick Sony have missed imo.
Galaxy Buds Pro was very uncomfortable for me and caused ear pain for me.

We think they have decent bass! Maybe the Momentum 3? XB should also work nicely.

The performance has increased slightly compared to the previous one. But the price increases a lot. And still, earphones for Samsung phone users

Why does Samsung release their buds differently from their tablets, phones, watches? You get the next generation device + a pro version for the same launch, but the buds 2 pro is released several months after the buds 2, and we're just a few months away from the Buds 3. It doesn't make sense to me.
It's the same dumb strategy they used to pull with their Note phones. It never makes sense to release the best version of your lineup, or its successor, just a few moments later down the line. Not every consumer is an NPC.

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for us
I had the original galaxy buds and couldn't stand the notification sounds, like the beep when you change volume or the hum when you put on the left or right bud. They are also ear-piercing loud on non-Samsung devices. Is that still a thing with these?
Oh and the sound stuttered a lot whenever I washed my hands or my face. It doesn't happen with my other buds.
And I find it very hard to open the case and take out the buds.

Finally a real review, not that Flossy Carter "out of 10..it's a major, major go" BS! What a disappointment from Samsung but extremely glad I can just stick with my 1st gen for 1/3 price. Android has an equaliser built into settings so why say no custom EQ though..? In-ear sensor only pauses if both buds are taken out of ears as you confirmed in the chat - so does it work if listening to one bud (is the sensor on one side)? Good to see in the video that headtracking can now be turned off within 360 audio...hope 360 can work all th etime not just watching video with screen unlocked
There earbuds that let you change app on a first party EQ. This way the same EQ stays on the buds, irrespective of which device it's on. Of course, there are also third party EQs always.
Ok... guess I asked too many questions so you only replied re the built-in EQ (some watching people still don't know about it that's all). Re sensor: if I go to sleep wearing either bud I want it to pause when it falls out not play 5hrs of content..maybe a software thing as photos seem to show sensors on both buds. The 360 one (on 1st gen the effect switch stays on but you can hear it go off when change from UA-cam to UA-cam music and also when lock the screen). Thanks anyway guys
So I've had the pro and I loved their sound but I wanted an upgrade. I went for the Technics AZ60 which sound wise are a good step up. But I'm so disappointed by their battery life. It's so bad that I'm thinking of reselling them and get something else.
How would u guys compare the buds2 pro vs the AZ60?
Battery life seems to be pretty similar to what the first pros were which was ok. 5hrs is not the best but are least they don't die after a littler over 3.5hrs like the AZ60.
I know the Sonys are battery life king but idk about their sound?
I was a huge fan of Sonys wired earbuds even back when I was a kid and a Walkman was your mobile music player😅 but it seems Sony has done a step back in sound. I was absolutely not liking the sound of the XM4 ove the ear headphones. Also I've tried a few other sony headphones and didn't like their sound either. I can't deal with the Soundcore earbuds due to their really bad case design. I'm really trying to figure out which buds that sound great and also have a decent battery life to them are a good buy?

Only reason I ordered these is because they moved the charging pins. Galaxy Buds Pro made my ear itch. Getting new one with trade
Yo. I want to try these but had the same issue with the original pros. If the pins are moved and not touching the ears, these might be the move. Currently have the pixel buds pro but those are irritating my ears as well because of the charging pins touching my skin.

Hey, great video overall! I'm a bit late to ask this, I have a OnePlus device. Rn with an offer, I can get these at $160. Would I notice a major sound quality difference as I don't have a samsung device? I usually listen in Spotify, UA-cam, offline mp3s. Should I get them? What features would I miss out on?
You should still get 16 bit audio on some nice earbuds, hope you got through with the offer cause in my opinion they are worth it if you dont have earbuds and are looking for some high end stuff or they are at a discount, like your case.
You would miss out on things like 360 audio by Sony, and 24 bit audio mostly, good thing is Android users dont really miss out on much thanks to being able to download the app
