The Doctrine of Giving

What DOES the Bible actually say about giving?
Last week we continued our series on Generosity, looking at the foundations of giving by learning from the heart of God. The heart of our loving Father who gives to us a new heart when He makes us a new creation in Christ. He calls us to follow His example, so how do we live generously in light of that?
This week we will dig into the principles from the Old and New Testaments to see how God wants us to live generously. We'll look at the Old Testament to learn what the tithe and first fruits are; and we'll look at the New Testament to learn how God wants us to live in light of Christ fulfilling all of the law.
