I really feel this bro and I just want to tell you that Bojack is at an extreme level. You are not like him, you're way better than Bojack. I know this is the kind of stuff you hear everytime but stop thinking you're as shitty as Bojack. You're not and you'll never be, you just have to find a way to get out of here. It'll be tough but one day you'll find the exit. Wish you the best
you should finish it. for yourself. I also saw many parts of myself in bojack, and it was difficult to accept and get through, but I think I'm a better person after recognizing it. I think that's really what part of the show is about, recognizing the faults in yourself. changing for the better is the unknown and difficult part. i haven't reached that point yet, but i'm working on it, and i credit that to this show and the journey it's taken me on
when i was in rehab my therapist told me i needed to recognize why i was in therapy in the first place...to actually get help or to just appease the people around me...that day i learned that in order to get help you actually have to want it in the first place
The lines hit hard but if you know the context and the depth of each character in this show, they hit 100x harder. I just know some people that didn't ever watch the show but clips/lines from the show.
For anyone who needs a sign: It's never too late, for anything. My grandma graduated medical school at the age of 50, and my mother was in multiple abusive relationships before she met the lover of her life, also interestingly enough at the age of 49...
i actually see myself in bojack. sometimes i compare people in my life to people in this show even. especially when todd tells him that he’s the problem. that scene always hits hardest because it’s true. bojack is the problem. no matter what you’re the problem and you can’t blame it on some other thing.
Most would see Bojack as a bad person, but I don’t hate him, and I admire that he does try to do better like Todd says in spite of the fact that he did some deplorable things. If Bojack didn’t have his friends, he’d truly be doomed. Bojack is a sad strange little horse. 🐎
I think Bojack is a bad person with privilege and cognitively distances himself from the reality that he is a bad person, so that he doesn’t have to take accountability for the actions and feel bad about himself. Even when he tries to take accountability for the actions that he’s made it’s rooted in his own social perception. For example in the ending of the show how he was battling with his self image instead of owning up to what he has done. He has so many resources to get better help but still chose not to get better help bc he was comfortable being a bad person to a certain extent bc he could always fall back on his privilege. The show tends to focus on him whenever he hurts people rather than the people he’s hurting and you see a lot of people leaving him but it’s through his eyes so it does seem sad or depressing but from the reality of the situation these people are just healing from the Harm he has inflicted on them in the form of distance, at least those who can heal. At a certain point you can’t forgive him or infantilize him bc these “mistakes” become behavioral. These are just my thoughts.
So I’ve been told that this show is good but I’ve written it off as a adult cartoon like family guy. Can someone tell me if the entire series is like this because if it is I might watch it.
The entire series is pretty much like this. Of course there's loads of goofy comedy intertwined but I would definitely not compare it to other adult cartoons like Family Guy. I highly recommend watching the show!
@@kaylaburrow9979 well then I’ll have to watch it, honestly if this video is like the entire series I think I’ll learn something from this series since I have some things in common with boejack
Let me put it this way. I felt exactly the way you did until I watched the show. Once it got to the episode where he begged Diane for affirmation, I was hooked. This show is so much more than I ever thought it would be, and I’m sad it’s over.
I watched this video 8 months ago and it stills cultivated in my memory... without a doubt bojack horseman is one of the most depressing philosophical masterpieces you can see. It is the ideal description of a lot of our deep thoughts specially the real/depressing ones... at the end of the day what are we if not depressed desperate creatures waiting for our death in a meaningless cosmic laboratory?!
I think I'm tired of everything, I have the umpteenth disappointment today but I don't get depressed anymore I was expecting it as I always say, I don't want to die but I don't want to continue like this, I'm trying to change with the gym and everything, but people don't change. I know no one will ever care about this comment as they won't care about me. but know that I love everyone and have always helped everyone, but no one has ever helped me, heartfelt thanks to all those who will be interested

Hi guys, maybe you can´t help me but I really need to get back some video... There was a video edit on yt about Bojack H. named "you were born broken". I watch/listen to that edit every day but yesterday I couldn´t find it. It was from some channel akira kurusu. I found one channel with that name and I wrote him, but he replied that it´s not him. There was used beat from Lil Peep´s song Star Shopping in the whole video and also it was in black and white. Is there any possibility that someone has this edit downloaded and would send me that? I would be much grateful🙏

@@elsorabella7578 this is the best comment thank you
this should literally be the trailer to the show
“I need you to tell me I’m a good person” Bojack is my sad spirit animal…
"Am I just doomed to be the person that I am."
This one always hurts so much. I too hope I'm not doomed to be the person that I am.
u are most definetly not change is ALWAYS possible. no mater how old u are.
Anyone who understands Bojack would absolutely love The Leftovers.
Great choice for song
I watched the leftovers and I liked it but I don't see why they connect?

It depends. I had a Bojack bf but he groomed minors. People like that, tragic or not, have it too late for them. It's just their actions.
