      Suzaka is my nightmare. Vettel had easy in that car. If you’ve played f1 2020 the car is super understeery. The first sector is a nightmare. I have to lift and coast through the corners and any little acceleration will push the car of circuit.
      I miss the handling in 2019 game. I think Ferrari are suffering with handling as well as I’ve notice both leclerc and vettel fighting the car around most corners.
      Ferrari have fucked with the cats areo to try a get better straight line speed but it has hurt the car more than improving it. They should just work on a good aero package and chassis. As for engine there is not much you can do in a season as it takes a lot time and planning. My advice would be to improve the turbo and improve oxygen flow to the engine.

      Long Duong If Vettel and Leclerc both hadn’t messed up their starts, good luck overtaking two cars even with better race pace on this track. You saw how Hamilton couldn’t pass Vettel in the end and he was 2 seconds faster with fresh tyres. Also, I think Leclerc messed up his start because he got distracted from Vettel’s jump start

      Your first point: Merc CAN overtake those two cars, they have the entire race to work the strategy out. HAM only has less than 10 laps to pass VET.
      Your second point: LEC shouldn't start his race looking at VET, that is risky, he chose to do it. Looking at the light is the better option.

      @@sirmounted8499 No he didn't, that's the fastest way around this hairpin because you can carry the momentum. The cars work better with a little more speed and downforce, that's why they don't go close to the apex anymore.

    This is actually a bit like watching a pole lap of his in the Red Bull days (except for the last chicane).
    It's always been so noteworthy that when Seb is on it, he barely makes any corrections, he just steers in and get's it right.
    A Lewis pole lap for example very often looks chaotic and all over the place from the onboards.
    And I thinks it's really interesting that both "styles" can be so damn quick.

      2 years late.
      It's because Vettel is ON the limit. Almost no time to be gained.
      Lewis is often OVER the limit, the correction costing him time. But the extra speed gains him more time

      I think that really depends on the specific corner, the car and the setup of the car.
      And obviously also just what the driver feels comfortable with because that determines if he will carry all the speed he dares or maybe a bit less.

Neither look erratic while qualifying, but in the races Vettel often looked so because more often than not he was in a slower car than Hamilton. Hamilton generally has a Prost-esque, pace over power kind of mode generally. Both are excellent and work in their own ways, but most definitely Vettel is the more overdrive-y one of the two.

    Crazy how they now plow through some of these corners without even tapping the brakes and merely coasting, while they used to brake and downshift when I was a kid. We’ve come such a long way.

      mathias gudme exactly! I lost a few seconds just because im feathering out the throttle on the exit of the chicanes. If i go full throttle, the car will somehow oversteer . Its weird
