Thank you! Geno, you're one of the extreme few youtubers that can document a Comic Con Correctly in my books. You provided an excellent tour of all the comics. No gimmicks or lame shows. You showed all the merchandise like one true collector would show another. Some nice books, but those prices were far too high on the majority of the books those dealers wanted.
I appreciate the kind words. It honestly means a lot. Especially as someone who does all this for fun, for the world of comics and for the community. That's exactly what I like to get across when I cover comic conventions and I'm glad you like it. And you're absolutely right. Several other people have said the same about the pricing too. I wonder if part of it was due to there being fewer dealers and them thinking they could do that. Sometimes it seems dealers just want to host a museum. I went straight to negotiate mode though. I avoid paying sticker price whenever I can.
Absolutely. I know, from being a regular convention guy, when I step to a booth and see some prices that I know everything at that booth will be overpriced. It's wild. And yeah, I just like showing all the cool books at conventions. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing, and I appreciate the effort you put into your recordings. Often, videos move too quickly, making it hard to see details like titles and prices. I’m eager to watch more of your videos.
Thank you for the kind words and for checking out the video! Convention videos are fun to do and I try to make the kind I like to watch too. And I'm always surprised by the lack of comic-centered videos from conventions.
Similar to the ones in this video? Ha, not at these prices. I actually do have a bunch of bigger books I've yet to show off. Unintentionally building a vault of videos to be uploaded. Just spreading them out. Then new things pop up and I get sidetracked. I've gotten some good responses to the ECCC videos. That's always a good feeling. Especially commenting on specific things I was going for when I make convention content. And I have a few more cons on my calendar, so I'm hoping to expand on what all I cover and produce.
I've browsed his booth a couple times, but haven't bought anything from him. Prices are always too high. And that's unfortunate. I've never heard many people talk about him besides just mentioning him.
Oh absolutely. Separate from the video, while I was just walking around browsing and shopping, I had to do some double takes looking at those prices. All the books I scored I got bundle deals on or just outright negotiated. Dealers can be outta pocket with their pricing at cons.
Lots of crazy, stupid asking prices. Way above FMV for graded books. Took me a awhile to actually bargain for books at cons, but DO it. Particularly on the last day of the con. Take it from a 70 year old collector.
Absolutely. I'm always on negotiate mode though. Forget sticker prices. And I don't even wait til the last day. If I start shopping early, let's get those prices down. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks for attending! Haven't been to #ECCC in a couple of years!
I'll be talking about it more in another video, but this was my second time going. First was 10 years ago.

Prices are crazy high, like prime comic boom prices. This video is just good to watch to see all the cool stuff. Thanks for sharing!

Looked like a lot of good stuff! Hope you had a great time dude!
The dealers had plenty of good books. Prices? Not so much. But I was still able to get some deals on a stack of cool books.

Prices are crazy! Looks like that booth didn’t want to sell books just showcase them.
That's the feeling I've had looking at several dealers at cons over the years. It seems as if they just wanna be a museum to a degree.
When are you going to start getting some of those expensive books you were showing? Great video. As always, I appreciate your convention videos.

Don’t ever go to Harley Yee that dude you can’t trust as I had some books come back restored.. Not to mention he offers horrible trade deals

Wow some of those books are way overpriced, like the listing prices are peak comic boom prices
