Over the course of the unedited video, I had 2 Dunkies, 1 royal truffle, 1 square of their dark chocolate coconut bar, and half teaspoon of both their white chocolate syrup and maple syrup. My glucose moved 17 points. The next day, I put a full 2TB of the white chocolate syrup in my coffee (a full Yet tumbler) and saw only 7 points of glucose movement.
Just be aware, these are MY results. Your results may be different.
That's awesome
My results with their products produced a large spike. After consuming 2 Tbsp of their Maple Syrup my blood glucose went from 85 to 170 within 30 minutes. My body cannot tolerate the non-gmo resistant dextrin.
Great to see the 3 of you together. Hope you had a fantastic Farther's Day.
Colton is so cute trying to be very technical like his Papaw😂. ❤ thanks
Yeah, he's trying, but sometimes his mouth can't keep up with his thoughts. 🙂
I break the dunkies into pieces and mix them into ice cream (black tie's version) and make a cookies n cream sub. They work great once frozen...some crispness, but any texture challenges becomes a non-issue. one stack makes 6 x 1/2 cup servings, which is the amount I make at once.
Yum!
Happy Father’s Day Steve!
And I didn’t notice any background hum in the video. 🙂
Either I have sensitive ears or sensitive speakers on my PC.
I love the Golden Dunkies & ChocZero caramels.
I like the Golden Dunkies with a little smear of peanut butter on them.
@@SeriousKeto yum!
Me too!
Happy Father's Day, Steve! I hope it was wonderful. Great video with the fam ❤🎉❤
I love the Dunkies a little too much
Yeah, I hear that. The Vanilla version is VERY difficult for me to eat only one serving. 😬
I didn’t hear the hum. I love the review team, thanks to all 3 for your opinions on these products!
I hope your Father’s Day was special
I think my PC speakers are just really good at playing background noises.
I don't hear it either
Another great video with Colton and Courtney. It’s so much fun to watch you and your family do these reviews! ❤
Aw yay! I'm glad the fam enjoyed the chocolate Dunkies. Whenever I eat the vanilla and chocolate cookies at the same time, I always eat the vanilla first because the chocolate will stay with your taste buds and overpower the more delicate and diva-y vanilla cookie 🤣 We're currently working on a process where the cocoa powder is baked into the cookie a little better, so that should give a stronger pop of chocolate with those Dunkies. Thanks again for trying our products! We've got some more coming soon...
FYI - this is the cocoa powder that REALLY brings the Oreo taste:
amzn.to/3xyORzW
@@SeriousKeto I asked our recipe makers about this and in commercial quantities, Nabisco has control over that cocoa powder! It's pretty messed up...
And anytime you mention background noise, I never hear it. Just saying... You probably don't have to worry about it too much.
I think my PC speakers are just really good at picking up background noise.
That truffle box packaging is how the Ferrer Rocher truffles are packaged. A popular gift at Xmas.
Ding! Great review you guys, its good to see everyone!
I tend to agree about the amount of packaging with the products. While yes they look good for gifts, we are already paying premium prices for keto/diabetic friendly ingredients so the excess packaging make it go into the luxury category (along with all the waste).
I totally understand where you're coming from- we don't only choose our packaging to be cute, I promise! In the case of the Royals, the packaging helps the truffles reform if they melted a little during shipment. The result is a delicious piece of chocolate that comes to you fully intact even after an encounter with the sun. If they were in a bag, there's a chance they might melt and leak, causing a mess. We also just switched over to tablet bars for our keto bark and squares that are 100% recyclable and cheaper for us to make so we can pass those savings onto you.
@@ChocZero I do get and appreciate the melting issue. Living in Phoenix I know that there are probably only about 5 months of the year when I can even think about ordering chocolate products for delivery.
@@ChocZero I think there is very little to complain about with ChocZero products. They are the best keto sweets I've found anywhere. And the prices are very reasonable compared to most other keto brands.
@@MrCharlesEldredge thank you, that means a lot!
@@TheHrb1234 It's amazing what the Phoenix sun can do! It melts things that shouldn't even melt in the first place!!
Hi! Colton is getting taller and verbalizes more! Nice family Steve! I would have like to see more details of the art on Courtney’s left shoulder. Thank you for the glimpse of your family activity and the review! Hope Y’all have a good day!👍
Everything represents some aspect of family - things she associates with her grandparents, mom, dad, etc.
They remind me of hydrox cookies! Which I loved!
I forgot about those. Blast from the past! 😉
@@SeriousKeto they were made in Kansas City where I am from.
I like their Maple Syrup. I waited awhile for it to come back into stock so I order 3 of them.
The new bottles are much smaller. I don’t recall the price of the old ones, so I’m not sure if it’s “shrink-flation”.
@@SeriousKeto Yes, they seem smaller, but I like the taste.
Good reviews, thank you!
Thanks for the review, already ordered some Dunkies with your link 😊
Colton's best review yet 🥰
Nice to hear how these go with you. Thanks for both the thoughts and the glucose results!
Love the dunkies and the truffles. The packaging is to help them keep their form when sent in warm weather in case a melting and then refrigerating. I love the original royal truffles and my husband loves the coconut truffles. I just discovered this week their new packaging of boxes for bark and squares does the same thing when melting. It was a hot week to have chocolate delivered and I immediately put it all in the fridge. The few that were already in boxes formed nicely and the ones still in bags are a flattened spread out blob that has to get peeled off the wrapper. Still delicious though.
Thank you for the review
Thank you for your review! I love the Dunkies and can’t limit myself to 2! I also love the truffles. Choczero has become one of my main go to for such treats, and I love their syrups and jams too.
Great review Colton!
So fabulous to receive you fast reply. Highfalutin did test it (biscuits) as did I, and results are superlative but he did not do the kind of advanced glucose-spiking testing you are adept in doing.
I’ve made the biscuits and I didn’t have a glucose response.
I’ve tried these and loved the vanilla ones so good And the hazelnut balls are yummy as well. Colton your awesome
Hey Steve, great review! Newer subscriber and I have noticed the various guitar placements in the backgrounds of your videos. Imassume you are the player. You give off classic rock vibes
I don’t play as often as I should and I’ve hardly played at all over the last 5 years.
Another great review! Love getting opinions from Colton and Courtney along with yours. I personally never liked Oreos, so I do prefer the golden ones, but I agree they should alter the recipe again to add the black cocoa powder. I wish you would have mentioned the white chocolate coffee syrup. It is possibly my most favorite product of theirs ever. I want it to be a huge success so they never drop it from the line. Ever since they launched coffee syrups I have lobbied for a white chocolate version, since they have raised the bar on white chocolate candy. It seemed like a no-brainer. I ordered it immediately and it did not disappoint! I've already gone through a whole bottle in both hot and iced coffee and decaf. I sometimes add raspberry or strawberry Lor-Ann oils (and also just ordered blueberry and cranberry) to mix things up. I was never a white chocolate fan, but they have converted me.
I agree, ChocZero has the best white chocolate syrup! I'm on my second bottle already❤
Spikey McSpikerson here 😂 I tried these a few months back and thought the cookies were really dry. The dryness overshadowed any flavor. Would these be a new variation? I hope they have adjusted that dryness, but I also agree that without black cocoa they will never be living up to their full potential! Regardless, I won’t be partaking in any of their products, but I still enjoy watch your reviews on them!
First, Colton is hilarious in this one.....on the front and back end😂😂
Second, I would like to thank you for ALL of your reviews, choc zero, keto chow, bread mixes all of them. As it seems we have the exact same taste buds. Don't get me wrong, while you have influenced me to spend a ton of money you have also SAVED me a ton. Last Halloween I bought something from Choc Zero, you said you could live without it but I bought it, it was awful. Then complained, why didn't I listen to Steve? I literally won't buy anything unless it passes your approval 😆 💚 💛
I’m glad to know you consider me a trusted source. ☺️
110%
BTW, fun fact about black cocoa. It's actually a trademarked ingredient from Nabisco and they either won't sell or will sell at extremely high prices for others to get it!
grrr.... 😒
Thanks Steve….happy father’s day!
Love videos with Courtney and Colton is such a cutie. Just ordered some of the new Rhea mini bars from ChocZero. Looking forward to trying the new version. Not a fan of the truffles.
Thank you
I have tried both flavors of the Dunkies and don't care for them. What I liked a lot were the butter cookies.
Those were good.
@@SeriousKeto A little too good. LOL
Happy Father's Day Steve
We've been eating the Dunkies for a few weeks now. I did have to get used to the chocolate ones. I like the gold ones the best. The truffle candies are amazing.
The packaging those candles come in is great for artists…makes a good palette ! And could be used for several different things.
I love the repurposing/up-cycling ideas! 👍
I like both flavors of the Dunkies and both the white chocolate coconut truffles and the dark chocolate truffles. The dark chocolate truffles are not bitter and nice texture. Just be careful not to eat more than a couple at any one time.
Portion control is my biggest challenge with ChocZero. 😄
Happy Father's Day.
Ding! Ding! 🤣 thanks for the family inclusive review!
I have the golden Dunkies, haven't tried them yet. But the nutrition info! Even with my reading glasses I had to use a magnifying glass to read it! C'mon Choc Zero! I like the butter cookies and the chocolate raspberry and chocolate orange candies a lot
If I’m at a grocery store and can’t read a product’s nutrition or ingredients with my reading glasses, back on the shelf it goes as my form of silent protest. I wish ChocZero would make them easier to read.
I have Dunkies coming on Monday….went to order marshmallows, they are out of stock 😢 thanks Steve, Courtney and Colton ❤
Our marshies will be back soon! We're making more right now.
@@ChocZero yeah! It’s roasting marshmallow season! Can’t wait! ❤️
@@ChocZero ordered mine this morning!!❤️
Happy Father’s Day Steve!!
Thank you. 🙂
I’m a big fan of the dunkies
They are significantly improved from the original release in 2022.
Also idk if you’ve tried them the Catalina crunch cookies are ok too
I've only had the cereal.
@@ksac35I didn’t care for them, kind of dry and bland. That was last winter.
Thank you 🥰🥰
Comment! Colton sounds like my 7yr old describing things. Recently i asked him what he thought of ruffles with ridges to which he said, “ its like when your tongue licks a fence but saltier.”
That made me lol.
Thank you for sharing these reviews!! Colton is sounding more and more like grandpa!!
I'm gonna stick with my faves, the snack size Rhea Bars, which I ordered a replenishment of (with your code, big thanks) just today✨
I didn’t know they had snack size.
@@SeriousKeto For me, they're just perfect!
We have a request of you: Would you do a review of Victoria’s Keto kitchen bread ? we need someone with your competency to thoroughly vet the seemingly great results with this bread and weather it truly won’t raise glucose levels. It seems better than all the other almond/cheese based approaches but we need someone with your experience to truly review it🙏🙏
I'll just say "maybe". I don't typically review other people's recipes. I leave that to Wes at Highfalutin' Lowcarb. He's got it down to a science.
Steve! I saw you have a new Chefmaker Dreo! I just ordered one. I hope you make some new recipes with it. Do you love it? 🙂
I’ll have a review probably on July 10th.
@@SeriousKeto awesome! Thanks Steve. 🙂
Again, I have no access to these products living in SA. (Africa)
But love watching Colton and Courtney, who's sporting now cool Tattoos!!!🎉
She has way more than I do. I’m hoping she’s satisfied with what she has…
Ding! Ding! ❤❤
“Ting ting….crunch!”
Did not hear any hum. I usually watch on my phone so maybe audio not as good.
I will give products a try. Thanks for review.
I got a box of the Danish butter cookies and they were so delicious I ate the whole box in two days. I can’t order them again!!😅
They are very easy to rip through.
They do spike my glucose levels. But, I probably shouldn't eat 16 at one time....just kidding...🤣🤣🤣🤣
You’ll have to try the hot honey sometime
It will be here on Friday. Look for a review (I’m thinking on chicken wings) in July.
I did not hear the hum at all... not with my window AC dehumidifying the air.... So my pups do not suffer during this heatwave... The longer haired younger 6 year old sister is pictures in my icon... her older 8 year old brother takes after their late chihuahua daddy Tony rather than their mini-Austrailian Shepherd momma Shadow (mostly grey) in terms of fur length and density.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m more sensitive to the background noises than most of my viewers. 🙂
@@SeriousKeto Or my window AC is LOUD. 😀
I like Choc Zero packaging because I live in Florida and the things they have in the bags gets crushed
That makes sense, though I’d have to imagine there’s only a couple months out of the year that they won’t melt in the delivery truck or on your porch.
Wasn't a fan of the Dunkies. Thought they didn't taste like chocolate cookies and they were really dry too. Also tried their danish butter cookie. Way too much fake butter flavor and so...very...dry.
And (as a Type 1) they seemed to kick up my sugar.
Love your stuff man!!
Thanks for sharing your perspective.
👍
🥰🍪🤤
🎉
my son liked the cookies but i didnt want to try the golden one
I'm a big fan of their barks and squares, but I really wasn't a fan of either the Dunkies or the truffles. They just don't quite fit as a good replacement for classic treats. I ended up giving away the rest of my dunkies after only eating a couple because I thought they were not worth the calories or flavor, but I did manage to get through most of the truffles over time, although I couldn't bring myself to fully finish them because they just aren't that good.
We all have different tastes and preferences. 🙂
Have you dunked these Steve? I am after a keto cookie that absorbs milk/coffee like an Oreo or normal choc chip cookie does. The closest I've found are the Hikey sandwich cookies but they are even more expensive than choc zero at more than a dollar per ounce no matter how big a package I buy. (curse you Oreo for making me think I should get 20 oz of cookies for $3!)
I don’t have any milk, but I tried dunking them in heavy whipping cream. I let it soak for about 5 minutes. There wasn’t a lot of absorption, but that could be because the cream is too thick. They tasted good, though.
I never hear the back ground noises I can't have any choc zero but ,y hubby can
I think my PC speakers are just overpowered at the frequency my fridge runs at.
I tried the chocolate dunkies a around beginning of the year. I hated them. Didn't taste like chocolate at all and didn't like the mouth feel. I thought they'd be like the ones a keto bakery near me makes. Theirs was so good but they sold their store and 2 months later it closed 😢
My favorite choczero are the rhea bars, raspberry chocolate squares, orange chocolate squares and the honey. Don't like any of their white chocolate.
I find their white chocolate to be hit or miss. Sometimes they nail it; other times it seems kinda artificial and waxy.
❤️🇨🇦🐕
I didn’t love the truffles either, not worth the subtle cheat for sure. If I’m suddenly craving chocolate I’ll find some lilly’s chocolate covered almonds. The challenge, is not eating the entire bag. 😊
I never hear a humming. I like these cookies and I don’t like Oreo’s. I like the butter cookies also. That said I need to stop ordering them so I can lose weight. I have a problem with this crap in my house.
How can a kid not like cookies?
He's not that into baked sweets. He likes berries a lot and cherry tomatoes for his "snack food".
@@SeriousKeto Colton would probably enjoy growing berries. My raspberry bushes are aggressive and easy to grow. Just fertilize, water every other day, prune and thin them out. When I was a kid, my best friend could squirrel away red cherry tomatoes and our dog ate them off of our bushes.
We have strawberries and there should be plenty to harvest when comes over tomorrow. We used to have raspberries, but they were so invasive. I had put in an underground wall of plexiglass 2.5 feet deep around them and was still getting sprouts in my yard and coming up through the boards on my deck.
I must've had the first version. Wasn't my cup of tea
If they were pretty dry, kind of gritty, and very coconut tasting, you had the original version.
@@SeriousKeto sounds like it 🤣

Hey Steve. I found a product at Wal Mart I think is deceptively placed and marketed! Oat Milk chocolate chips in the sugar free chocolate chips baking area! They were significantly cheaper, made with oat milk and marked “fair trade”.
I looked them over. Ingredients list showed 6 carbs a serving! Cane SUGAR FIRST in ingredients list.
Beware folks.
90 calories and 6 carbs serving/18 serv per bag

Wowsers. Yet another example of how important it is to read the ingredients.
