Tremendous patience! I meant the dog! No! Kidding she is super great in explaining and doing what she says. She is not only doing a great job but she is also thinking the process prior to executing it and even adding personal touches. She is definitely a professional, reminds me of painter Bob Ross when he spoke and his voice was very soothing. Overall Gold Medal Performance!

Absolutely excellent video! 🎉 I just found your channel and I subscribed within the 1st 5 minutes! I’ve learned SO much just in this session and the face trim tutorial on this sweet baby 😊 I have a 3 yr old MalShi and decided I’d like to trim her at home. She’s a rescue and I’ve had 3 decent good trim sessions and keep them short sessions right now till she feels confident with me using tools with her.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! I am going to start all of your tutorials, buy all tools necessary, subscribe to any tips,mailers,books etc (I already signed up for yours) I rescued my 2 dogs father and son I don't know what they are I have been told poodle mix..maltee poo or crocker spaniel poo .IDK.but they were matted and infested I just got the scissors and chopped away they are clean now but I will learn how to make them even more adorable and loved...I was never a pet person and now I have my 2 and I now understand ❤❤ there is Soo much to learn and practice but it's all worth it for my babies PJ & ROCKY...CANT WAIT TO START IMPLEMENTING THE TUTORIALS ON THEM!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
You did a fabulous groom on this beautiful Shih Tzu puppy. I'm interested in your class on energy. Where can I find more info on it? I have a
15 week old Imperial Shih Tzu. She is the best dog I've ever owned and has been very easy to train. She had her first visit to my private groomer who's been grooming for over 30 years or so, and does this in her home. She is an outstanding groomer but is talking about retiring so I need to get on board and learn to groom my own pup. My groomer hasn't done a haircut on her yet because she training to the sounds of the tools she uses to groom with etc. In between grooms I bathe my little Gracie and have introduced her to the blow dryer. I just purchased this dryer on line after looking researching for something that is not so loud and low and behold I found one. Everyday I turn it on for her to listen to. She is now find with it. I also, clean each day her teeth using cocnut oil using a silicone finger brush found on Amazon. Gracie is getting much better with the teeth brushing. I also, bought a child's Burst Sonic Toothbrush that I will use later when she is ready for it. In between Gracie's professional groom I brush her out everyday. I bathe her every other week, checking her ears, paw pads and nails. When I first received her at 8 weeks, I gave her a bath, trimmed the hair round her eyes, paw pads and trimmed the nails. Knowing that my private groomer is looking to retire in the next year or so I want to be able to completely groom Gracie myself. I love batheing her, nail clipping, paw pad trim, ear cleaning and teeth cleaning. I have a closer bond with my pup because of it. You are an outstaninding groomer. Any advice you could share in terms of the actual haircut for a Shih Tzu would be greatly apprecipated. I love, love, the way you cut the hair of this adorable fur baby. Could you be so kind as to send me the name of the haircut tools you used on the baby?

But what do you do when there’s tangles? Surely not every pup is in great condition, so how do you go about that especially the ones that do have mats but are afraid of clippers
Pet pet tranquility😅 this is the way I would like Stanley to look like a shitzu but not too long here and there and he'll be cooler but I like the long hair on the ears the long hair on the face where it doesn't get wet😂

Do you have class for anxious dogs /puppies? I am looking to start grooming my own Shih Tzu and the groomer says he is great just don't like his face dried and trimmed around his eyes. His eyes are very watery and gets too much moisture in food under eyes. He is 3 and has been groomed since he was old enough

I was so hoping to see you groom his face. Right now I have several shih tzu puppies on my schedule. One of them pancaked 90% of the time. So challenging. No matter what I tried he just wouldn’t stand up. He had been groomed one other time by someone else. But he was also already 9!months old which I’m sure didn’t help. I hated the way his face turned out

Do you have advice on easing clients into wanting more balanced haircuts? I feel like my skills are stagnating because of my clientele. I live in a small town/farming community, and virtually all of my clients just want a quick and dirty shave down. I know at the end of the day, I am in the service industry and I am performing the service I was asked to do, but I want to do a cute haircut occasionally too 😭
Can you post/hang photos of more stylish grooms you've done so customers may see what's possible?
Not all clients will be into it, but some will! Try saying “can we play with a different style” and use vague terms like “let’s try a teddy bear cut or a puppy cut or play with fun ears” it’s not specific or descriptive so you have more creative freedom
