I am STILL using the Mi A1 as my secondary phone. Bought it for 13k in 2017. Currently there are two issues, one is battery drainage and the power button isn't working properly. Other than that it is working like a charm even after 5 years. Best thing is its in hand feel. Feels way more comfortable and premium then present flagships.
I had to sell this due to battery drain after oreo update during nougat it gave 8hrs sot. Bt after update battery drain issue sucks but still miss portrait photos of mia1 it was best
I had this masterpiece from Xiaomi. I didn't know about this phone that time but someone bought and told me that its camera is like DSLR, its portrait mode is killer. So I bought it for camera but when I used this phone it was all rounder without any problem and its hepatic was awesome. Still it is with me but my grandfather is using it. I shot amazing pictures through this. I love this phone very much ❤️🙌

I used Mi A1 for around 3 years and it was a great experience. Even the community around Mi A1 was great. Still pixel experience rom for this device is updated and running.

4K recording is also available in Realme 3 pro which was launched in 2019 & nowadays most phones under 20,000 don't even have such feature. but Mi A1's camera surely worked like charm specifically in potrait photography due to dedicated telescopic lens.

I have used this phone it captures stunning photos then I upgraded to mi A 2 and used that phone for almost two years. Mi A2 used to capture one of the best selfie till now ,even it came with front flash. But with the time it started to slow down and apps used to crash again and again. Battery life was also poor because of 3000mah capacity and yep no headphone jack.
Had the mi A1 as my primary device till 2 years ago , I still have the phone with a cracked display but the phone still works ! Loved the phone all the while using it , never had any issues if i remember.❣️

Just shift from mi A1 to iqoo z6 That phone software was clean and i personally never faced any issue in Android 8 update actually. I am a harsh user and destroyed the handset several times which resulted in changing the display 7times. Sorry for bad English 😅.

I am still using this phone and watching this video on this phone. This phone is the best phone ever in terms of durability. Past phones had multiple issues and required at least one or two visits to the service center, but this phone has not given me a single problem or a single visit to the service center. The best part is the software and the lithium-ion battery. Even though it is a 3000 mAh battery, it does not feel like it. It still has the original battery backup of 4-5 hours of continuous use. When it was on Nougat, I researched before updating the software and stopped the update. After the stable release of Android Pie, I updated it. There is a little network issue from the start, but I hope the company will launch this type of phone again. The camera quality literally matches the iPhone camera. Portrait mode photos lit ❤
This was my phone in 2017 and i loved it and the camera was wow. But then Android update happened. And they came out with Mi A2 exchange program which i went with and i still have that phone.
My dad bought his Mi A1 on the day it launched. He got a new phone this year but didn't get rid of the A1 simply because it did everything right and still works flawlessly to this day....yes it's still his primary phone and he uses it everyday.

I exchanged my Mi A3 for Xiaomi 11T Pro, this phone heats up a lot, when I say a lot i mean it, whenever I play games my fingers starts burning and battery dies sooner, normal usage also can't use it for a whole day, charging speed is impressive 120watt charger

Am a little disappointed that you ignored one of the major plus points of Mi A1 - the DAC driven sound output with a 3.5mm audio jack - this is one rare budget phone that had something even flagships didn't offer. Ask any audiophile who owns Mi A1 and they'll tell you how awesome the sound output is of the device! I've retained mine solely as a great audio device.

Still using this dope ahh phone for 5 and a half year almost now. Battery drainage is the only problem now. But not even today's phones can beat it's camera and it's screen. It's sleekness, how thin it is and over all feel. I really wish they made more Android One phones with sleek and small design and a better camera like this one. I don't need the rest of the screen.

I exchanged my Mi A3 for Xiaomi 11T Pro, this phone heats up a lot, when I say a lot i mean it, whenever I play games my fingers starts burning and battery dies sooner, normal usage also can't use it for a whole day, charging speed is impressive 120watt charger
I have mi a3 ☺ almost 3 years but still no issue & also using 10s it's worst ever mi a3 camera software is far better

My mother used to use this but display got issue but I bought her new mobile but I am still using this as my secondary phone 🎉🎉.. I challenge no mobile can come close to earphones audio quality through this mobile...it has separate audio decoding chip which never finds these days in budget.. glad seeing this video...❤

i loved my MI A3. after 3 years when I wanted to get a new phone there way no android phone that way anywhere near to it. sadly i shifted to iPhone.

Am a little disappointed that you ignored one of the major plus points of Mi A1 - the DAC driven sound output with a 3.5mm audio jack - this is one rare budget phone that had something even flagships didn't offer. Ask any audiophile who owns Mi A1 and they'll tell you how awesome the sound output is of the device! I've retained mine solely as a great audio device.
Came to comment about the same 🤤 compared my boat earphones with friends note 10 pro jack and mi A1 Jack and mi A1 had just next level deep bass and I am planning to keep it for that reason only not even my laptop gives this ear shaking bass
Still using this dope ahh phone for 5 and a half year almost now. Battery drainage is the only problem now. But not even today's phones can beat it's camera and it's screen. It's sleekness, how thin it is and over all feel.
I really wish they made more Android One phones with sleek and small design and a better camera like this one. I don't need the rest of the screen.
