FACTS! Like my girlfriend and I went and seen Living Color with EXTREME earlier this year! And let me just say for being around as long as they have been and both bands having members like close to sixty and what not extreme killed it! So did LC but DAAAMMM Ex is STILL amazing and Nuno?? He's a BEAST
It's crazy seeing slaughter play to a couple hundred people I mean back in the late 80s to early nineties they had a triple platinum album and were opening for One of the world's biggest rock bands kiss. And we're all over MTV.
I remember that ludwig drums ad with Blas Elias sitting behind that chrome drum kit with the 4 long bass drums that he once had during their heyday. You would seeing in nearly every issue of Modern Drummer magazine
Yeah, but don't overlook that it was nearly 35 years ago. All those people at the shows back then are probably not interested in going to a "rock show". The problem with Slaughter is that they didn't gain a new generation of fans.
Still like slaughter a lot. Saw them on their first tour opening up for kiss. Little Caesar actually played before them. Not sure how you feel but I really like their later albums a lot too. Cool band

@@Jayhawk9 Fear No Evil is my favorite Slaughter album. "Live Like There's No Tomorrow" is such an awesome track. The album itself probably sold like four copies because of the hey day of Grunge, pop punk and ska, but that doesn't take away from how great it is, IMO.

Very True .Dana Strum, Blando and Zoltan who was Slaughters drummer are Vince Neil's solo backing band I'd imagine with any generosity they are making more playing Vince's solo gigs. Vince is making truck loads of money on the Crue dates I think half the time he plays those solo shows to help these dudes out. He seems happier playing with them. Playing with narcissistic ego maniac controlling Nikki and nut job Tommy is strictly for the bank. He seems to actually enjoy these guys company. I've been a Crue fan since the beginning but they have always marched to whatever Nikki says.
I really wish they would get Blas back in the band. Their new drummer is just one long drum solo. There’s no pocket, and the feel of the songs are just completely different.

Decades of Mark Slaughter vocals will slaughter his vocals. How anyone can maintain a sound like that for long baffles me. It's as if they are tearing up their throat. This is coming from someone who owns all of their studio albums. But there's a huge difference between live and studio to be sure.

Wrong, the original band back in the 80's stood out and shined. Sad Tim Kelly passed on, he played some great guitar, as Marks voice was key to the bands high energy.

The drummer is so not playing the original drum tracks form the albums and definitely is in the wrong band !! His solo he ripped off few drummers !!! Tell him to cut back on the drugs !! Tempo changes during every song!!! Slaughter was a lot better late 90’s with original Drummer was 11000% a lot better and tighter like there over produced albums

Playing the snare behind the beat is what the groove calls for and the fills right on the beat gives it the little release from the behind the beat. The guys playing is just fine. Post a video of your playing so we can get an idea of your expertise in the field.
Listen to the album and then watch the UA-cam video and you’ll get the answer!!!! I used to play slaughter songs in my band many years ago!!! We played heavy rock songs from Van Halen extreme to def Leppard!! I grow up listening to 80’s 90’s heavy rock music and listend millions of times!!
