Looking back, I laugh at how simple and slow-paced it is compared to what we see now. But, this predicted Smash Brawl. Of the endings, Kirby is hilarious ruining the two game stars' truce (that predicted M&S Olympic Games). RIP Randy, you were a very creative man...
Around the time I discovered the internet back in the early 2000's, this was probably the first sprite flash animation I've ever seen and I had no sound... it was incredible.
It wouldn't be a tie, Mario has more brute strength & is battle smart, but Sonic is battle smart, has more acrobatic skills, & is more of a martial artist. Mario has a higher skill then Sonic 'cause of his power-ups, but Sonic has incredible speed, also has sharp spines. Mario has fought very powerful beings yes, but a the most only galaxy destroyers, Sonic has fought multiple multi-verse destroyers. Mario has his power-ups (excluding the most powerful power-ups like Mega Star & Super Raccoon Leaf), which would equal super form & a half, the Star Spirits with Peach's wish, equaling hyper form, plus his most powerful power-ups, equaling 2 hyper forms, equaling a grand total of 3 hyper forms & 3/4 way of one. Sonic has his own Hyper form with the Super Emeralds, plus a Hyper form he would have with the Super Sol Emeralds, plus the World Rings granted him an almost full on Hyper Form, plus Ultra Sonic from the comics, equaling a grand total of 3 hyper forms & 1/2-3/4 of one. Now while it may seem in Mario's favor, you also have to put lack of time of those forms of Mario's into effect, the 3 & 3/4 hyper form I mentioned would only be at it's full power around 10 seconds, while Sonic's 3 & 1/2-3/4 hyper form I mentioned, it would be at it's full power around 50 seconds. So that along with Sonic's incredible speed, & Sonic wins.
I remember watching this as a kid alone on my cousins laptop in the room during a cousin sleepover and my older brother saw the part where sonic told MegaMan to get the hell out of here, and hell was a bad word for us during that time in our childhood so my brother told our mom when we got back home from the sleepover and i got in trouble. Mario has the best selling video games of all time and is the most iconic video game character of all time and even had his own movie (which I know sucked but still) also a tv show and is more powerful then sonic. On the other hand Sonic is cheap and is just fast he was based off of mario and came out 10 years after mario was introduced to the video game world Sonic had his own tv show and every single game has the same maps and same objective where at least nintendo changes it up sometimes in mario games. Sonic is more powerful then Mario. To me even though Sonic's games most of the time have the same objective & same style, they're still more entertaining to me then Mario's games are.
