    I have been working with them for a couple of videos and have their guitar and IeM rigs. They are very good people, Miranda has been super. I highly recommend their stuff.

    Literally JUST ordered this unit yesterday. I’m a SHURE fanatic and purchased this as a recommendation from a fellow DJ.

    The thing with all mics wired and wireless is the cartridge and how it's mounted in the microphone, and that is the main thing with looking at price points. Also I wonder about the longevity and how stable it will be on the future. Nice demo

    I purchased this setup back in 2019 and within 6 months neither mic would power on, which I assumed was dead batteries. When I opened the compartments, I discovered batteries that were insanely hot - as in I couldn't hold them in my hands hot. I reached out to Phenyx and they chalked it up to a defective unit and sent me a new kit (so, kudos to their customer service). Flash forward to today and I am down one mic because of the same hot battery issue with no way to add a replacement mic to the receiver, so I need to buy a new system. The build quality is exceptional for the price, but three of four mics with potentially serious defects that could have caused the batteries to explode? That's a fun karaoke night, yeah?

    Wow! Metal?so it's not just a genre and the price seems really reasonable. I wonder if it would sound good on a speaker cab. Luv the channel 🔥👍.

    I did the 8 mic set. It was great. Mic demos get no views but the mics are easy to resell once the demo is over.

    Would you recommend these for weddings and ceremonies?

    I purchased this last month and have tested it a few times. I'm using it for home karaoke, and for the price I think it's a great deal! It's well built, signal and sound quality is "great!" To the average folks using at home I don't think they can tell the difference from Sennheiser or Shure to be honest! One thing I notice though, it does eat through the batteries pretty quick! I put in brand new Duracells and it drained it pretty quick.

      hi. i am struggling to connect this to my bose solo tv home theatre. I used the 1/4" cable and connected it and there is no sound output. how did you connect yours? Also, the microphone screen keeps shutting off, one would not pair and the battery has drained even only after a half hour of trying to set it up and pair.

    What is the noise floor on this unit. With these cheaper consumer semi-pro (aka consumer-pro) wireless units, there is always a noticeable noise/hum. It is difficult to mask this noise using EQ (heavy lower end cutting) without degrading the quality of the sound. If this wireless system has very very low noise level - then it makes a much better job of getting a decent sound out of it. Because it then becomes a matter of the actual mic characteristics. Which is easier to control taming any audio coloration with EQ, and dynamic range with compression - then mask it with pleasant effects (reverb/delays). But you can't mask noise/hum, because it will always be "baked" into the signal. So how is this unit with noise/hum (or sometimes its more of a higher frequency hiss)?

    Not the review I was expecting, but very interesting nevertheless.

    The mics sounded a bit harsh, at least with the headphones I have at the moment. Could be interesting to try for a live show but idk how they'd sound with harsh vocals

      Yeah sounded harsh on my monitors. Very Pronounced "S" sounds. Was better when it was closer but still cut through. Could be fixed with EQ I guess.

    The Lav mics, could you replace the mic with like a Shure 98 Instrument mic ?

    • @codesent2125
      @codesent2125 2 роки тому

      Each brand of lav mic has their own connector where it plugs into the body pack, so I don't think it will, but you can probably look up some pictures and specs to see if it will.

    What’s there not to like?
    Where is it made? If it is like all other cheap electronics, it is made in China.
    Who are you supporting when you make these purchases? Purchasing products like these undermine legit companies like Shure and Senheisser. This ultimately directly supports the communist part in China, better known as the CCP.
    There is an old saying. “If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.” A dual wireless frequency agile system for $150 is not possible without extreme cutting of corners and/or the use of a slave labor.
    Sorry if I seem critical. After wearing a mask for two years due to a virus that clearly originated in China, I’m gonna be critical. We need to start the fight now, though it is likely already too late. We have let the dragon in and now he is going to breathe his fire.

    • @patrickmcdaniel2845
      @patrickmcdaniel2845 2 роки тому

      @@RiffsAndBeards I hear you loud and clear. Hard to buy anything electronic made anywhere but China. Same goes for a lot of other industries. As far as I’m concerned, many of our business leaders and politicians have failed us, the unsuspecting public. We are all just happy to have our free phones and other underpriced goods. Unfortunately this won’t last forever, at least not if the CCP has their way.
