I can say with great confidence that they have done a hard job to change all the swords into a better version.
Now it doesn't matter which swordsman appears, pro or novice, they will still be able to kick anyone's ass even with a regular katana.

the damage are nerfed, but the attack is faster and more consistent, and it looks cool so its fair

Longsword got a glow up and tricked us all at the same time
Mate they not only reworked em but buffed some of them
Here is one:
Dual Katana Whirlwind does way more knockback
helping you kill bosses as you have time to run and heal
when you are low.
Oh and sum nerfs:
Dual Katana Tornado does 7 less damage
*(69 Damage LOOOOOLLLL but then got lowered to 62 😭)*

i do realize that after the revamp of all sword, the damage secretly nerf by a little. Proof that before his katana damage fron the x skill was 40, but now after the revamp the damage is 36. You can see it at the beggining.
Changes in upd 20:
Swords: much cooler
Fruits: became cuter [especially rocket :3]
Bosses: H A R D E R
[Swear i dont wanna fight Leveiathan😭😭😭]
Removed: the legendary kilo
the really good revamp were pipe ,saber ,bisento ,rengoku ,midnightblade ,ttk and dark blade(in my opinion)
These are great reworks but i miss some old abilities from the other swords like iron mace's Z
The Dual katana became good for pvp, it can drag people using z abilty, example flame c look down then dual katana z

Also no holding X does more than holding X idk why but ok
cause when you hold x more, the aoe of the move becomes much larger. So they decided to nerf the damage so that it'll be a little more balanced

Saber's first skill got a buff. But 2nd skill was disappointing.
