I try still only to read what I want to read and not chase trends, but while I'm reading I'm constantly thinking about how to construct my thoughts in a review, which isn't great... Why don’t we dance inside the mammoth’s print? Our hair the fur it left behind for us to flow and wave in icy bands of wind. “We knew them once,” our breaths remind the night. We made up angels, then vampires too. The busy scratch of chalk dismantled myths. A wedding picture in the living room; a cave our ancient handprints ornament.
