I found that the second track was awesome and not too bad for overtaking. just need to pick the right moment. the hairpin after the log left hander I found was generally the best spot if you get a good run.
Biggest problems with electric karts are that the races are only 8 minutes long. which is ok for multiple sprint race. But with the petrol karts you can do 45 minute races easily which i find so much more fun. I've done a 6 hour and 12 hour endurance races at Teamsport Bristol which you would never be able to do in an electric kart without constant kart changes....
You should try the Transport venue under Manchester Arena, they have electric karts too. It has a good blend of fast sections and overtaking opportunities
You should go to the old Daytona indoor track at old Trafford (which is now Teamsport) if you want a decent indoor track. Considering is has proper tarmac in there. None of this concrete shit. Or if you want a proper karting experience go and do a dmax GT A&D at Milton Keynes or Tamworth.
Basically there’s two separate tracks, and sometimes they connect the two together into one long track. However you won’t really know what configuration you’ll be getting until you arrive.
@@downey6433 unsure where the management find the people who work at teamsport but I think they need to re evaluate their decisions lol. The staff scream at people and put yellow warning signals on every time somebody bumps into another kart. Pathetic
Can confirm about the painful bumps going down that ramp, my ribs and tailbone are still bruised a few days later lol. Still a lot of fun though.
Im a member of teamsport and regularly race at mitcham. Both tracks are good for overtakes you just have to pick the right line and corner.
I feel sorry for you, having to work at Mitcham
2023 update: Go here a lot (Great to see that Matt did so!) and the 800m layout is now the one that is always used, for now at least.

This track is amazing. Definitely prefer the international course most, and yes the bottom lip on the downward raps does hurt your back
i am From Australian whats the best British go Kart track any tips
If you can you should try the plymouth karting track. As somone who goes there its a great track and one i would recommend
So is there 2 separate tracks or do the rebuild the international one?

Go to Whilton Mill, the teamsport tracks are a completely different level of racing
Thank you for this :)
Seems legit
Waray good
the docklands track is good. except for the staff who are terrible at their jobs
I know what you mean, most people who work at teamsport are just lazy who actually have no passion in motorsports at all
