I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out to express my appreciation for your vlogs, which I have been following for the past three to four months. They have been a great source of motivation for me. I am currently in my third year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering in India.I have been inspired by your experiences and have a strong interest in working in Seattle. I was wondering if you could provide me with some guidance or assistance in this regard.
and i can now easily solve 3 out of 4 leetcode contest

Love your vlogs so much! Thank you for making them.
I’ve had a friend of a Software Engineer tells me the entry level jobs are impossible to get now because companies can use AI for basic coding in place of hiring a Jr Software Engineer with little experience. Do you believe that to be true? Have you seen that start to happen? This was very discouraging to hear.
Wishing you a restful, well-deserved holiday and happy new year!

Thank you! As far as I know, the job opportunities for entry level jobs are available, especially for big tech companies.
Happy holidays to you too :)

Your vid was in my recs, so I checked it out. Good vid - interesting journey. Congrats on landing a job you really enjoy. I'm curious though- why do you think you didn't get offers in Petroleum Egr despite your good grades? It doesn't make sense. Do you think there was discrimination involved. Did your friends in that major have the same trouble or did they land jobs?

Your guess is as good as mine. Most students who required visa sponsorships needed to be in the phd program in order to get interviews, leave alone getting job offers.

@@kkcui In that case, your college advisor failed in their job of letting you know about that before hand so you could have changed course earlier. I don't understand why they are putting heavier requirements for international students that are highly rated, especially without making that clear in advance.
