Honestly, I think the end will be quiet and happen fast. They have settled for the mediocrity and continue to do what helps them, not the consumers/game community. They have only helped lower the standards and expectations, so that they could get away with giving less. I don't think anything can be done, and the end is near. Only time will tell.
I agree 100% with your feedback!! Unfortunately, that's what the larger population goes for and pays for. I've been on for 13 years, and I'm still waiting for an Alert or Raid in Space. Why is it always Gotham or Metropolis, Themyscira, or some other "already been there multiple times" location. And don't get me started on the fact that Q1 2024 is almost here and the PS5 version of DCUO will not be ready!
But the draw back of not having that option while playing sucks tho.. what if the situation calls for it in a raid or alert to tank or heal better or dps better or the troll/heal to regain SC or anything...its always better to have options than be stuck 1 way because a portion of the community doesn't do it... It wouldnt be fair to the ppl that played long hrs to rank those Arts up or farmed or bought XP its just not going away..No time soon

The game is on life support. And any changes they implement won’t take effect for awhile. Take a break and come back in a year. You might have to grind to catch up in specs but at least that will give you something to keep busy with.
I always thought that a good Valentine's Day event would be that for each cooperative content you had an increase in profit of metal nth or source marks, if you play duos you earn a little, if you play alerts a little more, and if you run raids it is probably where you can win the most, under the pretext of love and friendship. They could also put challenges like a new boss that you can only defeat with a friend and if you do, both win things to improve their artifacts such as completion seals, dionesium, etc.
I quit years ago, stopped by to see what's going on now. I was in t4 when I took a break. 6 months later I came back to find my loyalty points had been revoked. Real loyal Sony!

They should have save the universe running every week while adding new styles or stuff similar to Rip Hunter every week. They should also fix pvp, people need pvp feats in everything. Survival Mode should happen 3-4x a year, 1 every quarter of the year. Just some of my thoughts. I havent renewed my membership, expired last week. Been waiting on double arts for the longest. Elite plus should have elite plus gear that gets dropped by bosses, have a chance to drop to make it actually worth playing elite plus.
This game has tuned into the equivalent of an npc streamer. Absolute brainrot. You pretty much hit everything on point. Game has turned in a joke. Instead of dlc and power updates we get EMOTES and hair feats.
The only thing DCUO is good at is taking your money. I took a break from the game last October at the beginning of the new DLC. It was supposed to be just till the PS5 update happens which it probably never will. After watching this I see I didn’t miss much 🤷🏽♂️
Another Quality of Life improvement I would like to see is Movement, Combat to Out of Combat takes forever like 5 secs… While your Super Speed users all fly past you here you are as Acrobatics or Flight, moving as slow as a snail… it’s the small things like this that stack up… This game is P2W I know. but that doesn’t mean it still can’t get the bare bone basics right!

A majority of this game and kind of the whole point of playing this game and truly conquering it is doing feats and trying to get them all and doing eplus content. You saying you dont care about feats and arent skilled enough to do eplus content just shows that youre missing out on such a huge component of the game. Try gathering people to do feat runs and youll realize how much more this game has to offer.

They said the game should be up till 2030 but the game is dying.Right.Now.The playerbase(the small base thats still playin the game) is walking away and 2-3 more months and literally 0 ppl will play the game.Or 50 or something and they will pull the plug. Dc is on health support rn,and its dying because of the devs who dont even want to put the bare minimum into doing something great.Cause to bring back survival modes,you have to make some cool items others WANT.But its too much work for them these days.
i would suggest they make 8 man raid a daily thing, i dont my they reduce the mark into 1 and last boss stay the same, now everyday i just wait for alert 4 man, its boring. remove most repeatly need to apply mechanic evry 1 min you need to click something, please remove it, alot of players doesnt even bother to do mechanic and wipe. and add a 16 players raid. i couldnt agree on power, no point have to upkeep the power, just make easy spam, cyborg is a must, and comeon, give us alliance exp more so ppl could buy more ally, play a month just manage level 2 star over 1 legendary ally, its really turn off.
plus they better just remove heroes and villain faction and call us multiverse stabilizer being now, i open my villain side character is much basically just empty zone.

the game has been out for over 10 years and mobs STILL don't drop purple nth metal.. when it takes 1.6 mil exp to go from 0 - 200.. tbh that's a basic Q.O.L. thing that EVERY game does when they double the required exp to level.. you make common drops give more exp. imagine playing an rpg and the mobs at the end of the game gave the same exp as the mobs at the start. LOL
I noticed even in Gotham the train subway in white & purple blocks...while i was doing the event & your right..dcuo is getting boring and NOT rewarding OG players just the newbs but really idk id say there not even giving the new guys to much either
It's because the devs have a consumer attitude. You buy, consume, then move on to a game that is functional. They have zero interest in player retention or making elite content playable.
Yeah im tired of artifacts, styles, time capsules... i wish they would make skill points relevant again and do an actual engine update/revamp start moving away from old consoles and just focus on newer hardware... this game is struggling so bad and all they do is get at everyones wallets anymore nothing good for the game

Everytime there's a transformation (like during patchwork themiscyra boss fights) the game freezes or powers won't work for 10 secs. The game is broken on Nintendo switch. you can't play the mechanics as designed without dying. Crashes, having to vote ppl back into raids. I don't miss any of it. New dlc's are rinse and repeat. Grind get new gear. Build OP item and repeat next dlc. Stat clamped older content. Don't waste your time... even with max artifacts, elite gear, 500+ sp for everyone in the raid, alot of elite raids are still unpassable. And this is why the community is shrinking and dying. The game is broken, after mastering normal content its basically game over
Population is dying off and they don't seem to be doing anything to keep people interested in the game. Same old same old. They don't want to give 2x art because it eats into their profit but it won't matter if no one is playing because they don't listen. Instead they want us to buy wolfpack arts. It's like they just want to grind the game out and milk whatever they can while it dies. I cancelled my membership because I'm sick of the lack of effort being put into the game and see the writing on the wall.

For me it’s SM. We used to get 8 player SM every 3 months. They’ll still have the programs on file. I don’t see their problem.
