  • The #Corepunk alpha 2 has just ended, and I've put together a trimmed down gameplay grind from level 1 to 6. This Corepunk gameplay video will show you the quests I took, the mobs/creeps I killed, skills I chose and the abilities in action. I'm going to break down the shamen in more detail in later videos so remember to subscribe for more!

Did the wolf/totem count as an "ally" for the support talents???

@@BlackoutGamingChannel So, i think the shaman is pretty bad. The kit doesn't mesh well together or feel fluid in its current state, but i think they can make a few changes without doing a full redesign of the class. Here were some of my thoughts
-Passive- let me cycle through the elements for free whenever i want. the stacking can remain the same, just buff my next ability at max stacks.
-Rip apart- Add damage to the ability when i land it, currently, the ability doesn't activate many passives on the talent tree becuase they require dealing damage.
-Totem- let me cast this whenever i want and give it a cooldown. besides that its the same
-lightning strike- rename this to Elemental Strike, depending on which element im in should be the type of spell it is. Fire stance can be a lava burst with damagae and DOT, Water stance can be a point and click heal, And earth would be a big rock that does big damage or does a slow/stun
-Wolf- The wolf feels bad and janky because of server issues and bugs, but change the 5th basic attack bonus to be dependent on which element im in, Fire can do the same as it is currently, Water can do a little aoe heal around the wolf, and Earth can be a taunt.
these changes keep the kit the same, but gives some more versatility, For a "master of the elements" the shaman currently just punches people, then does water totem at the end of every pull. let me dance between the elements on the fly, It would give the player more agency and give more build options. You'll still be able to build attack speed crit, or become a mage caster in fire stance, or a healing support with the water skills.
