The problem with the deer and extra life was the spawn limitation. You can only have a max of 5 animals on the field. It worked the first time because the leopard got bodied pre game. When the whale spits out the copied animal its a new instance of that animal. Therefore it does not receive any buffs that the original had been granted like the extra life.
@@stillapieceofgarbage1407 Incorrect, the deer effect at level 2 is a 10 10 bus. The double bus was as a result of the mushroom spawning another deer in front, after the pre-combat phase ended.
7:13 it hurts me to see him skip monkey. For those that don't know, monkey buffs the right most unit by +3/+3 for atk/hp at level 1 and an additional +3 per level
The reason why the deer build worked the first time and not the second is because your cheetah died before the deer so it have it room to spawn more things if you took out the parrot that build would have been super strong
I was yelling at the screen "Put the Leopard up front and use the parrot on the snake!" Unfortunately, I don't think the parrot would have been very useful there, a tiger would be better in that circumstance.
DF is not someone you should watch if you know a game well and want him to do well. But if you don't care about that or don't know the game, then it's super fun content. It's not that I played this game a lot, but the 3 failed mechanics we saw here were all obvious, which makes it hilarious to watch him. E.g. the last one to copy the Leopard wouldn't work either way because it would use half the damage of the parrot. In other words, 6 damage at the last round possible. Considering he sold a Penguin for that that was a waste of 2 gold and a loss of 2/2 in stats. The parrot's stats are better than the penguins, but I don't think this would really matter.
Your dolphin-tiger-parrot combo didn't work like you wanted because the parrot gained the tiger's ability, but he wasn't behind a dolphin, he was behind the tiger and the tiger's ability is a passive one, not an active one, so he can't use it twice. If you had put the tiger behind the hippo it probably would have been better, since the hippo could have gained stats much faster in battle. Probably wouldn't have made a difference though, that peacock you faced was pretty serious.
I internally cry when I see him pass up the shark or steak attack. Especially when you can combine them for a super shark! Or put the parrot behind the kangaroo which you can place behind a super charged animal with the shark at the back to carry you if need be.

He coulda upgraded the yak too with how many he was getting. All he'd of had to do is upgrade another animal. Also monkey woulda gotten that yak up to 50 50 with the yak also upgrading itself in no time with how soon he got it.

Yea, him and the penguin are probably the best buffers in the game. There are others that do really well, but none are as consistent. Even in later stages I'd get the monkey to just give me the slight edge you sometimes need, especially on a Buffalo which you usually get later, so focused buffs are very important. The Cat, Dragon and Tyrannosaurus are also solid but tier 6, so harder to upgrade. A Tyrannosaurs level 1 is 10/5 across the board, a Dragon 3/3 per tier 1 animal bought (but that means you need 2 empty spots). At best, this can be repeated 4 times in a single turn under perfect condition (rolling or having 4 tier 1 animals), giving a total of 12/12 (3/3 because it's only to friends and I don't count the rotating tier 1 as a unit, since it will end up with a single buff). The Cat is the best focused buffer, as long as you get food. Doubling Health and Attack effects on food usually leads to an additional 2/2 per food, or usually 6/6 across all food. Meaning with the base food values that's +12/+12 in a single turn, but also only on a single unit (which is fine if you run e.g. Buffalo as your only fighting unit). Combine that with a Monkey and a Penguin and you are looking at +16/+16 in a single turn. The only issue is that Scorpions are a major threat in that version. Edit: the bonuses are level 1. Usually you can expect to hit level 2 on at least the Penguin and the Monkey, so it's a +20/+20 in a single turn, while the Penguin also buffs other level 2 units. Considering most endgame units have stats in the 50s/60s you can steam roll a team of 4 by using garlic, just with the Buffalo.
He also doesn't upgrade anything half the time. Buffing a level one isn't as good as freezeing a buff, leveling an animal, trhe buffing that one next round.

Seeing those potential Level 3 Mosquitos not being done hurts me, especially when you just unlocked Tier 4. That's a potential good Tier 5 pet early, at the cost of either a stronger Mosquito+3gold or a sold Mosquito(no lost gold). I noticed you get early Tier ups if you level up pets, so that's my usual strategy: Level 3 things, despite the lost costs on rolling

It made me a little annoyed seeing him skip monkey twice and then put the dodo behind the worm. His combo relied on hippo heavy, dodo behind to ensure the hippo one shots to minimize damage taken is a must.
yeah, with summoner builds you gotta be careful of the pet cap, whale into deer with extra life does work, you just need an extra open space for both bus and deer to spawn into
Personally, I think that meat bone is better than garlic armor on the hippo. You really want that extra attack damage to help guarantee a kill so he can buff and reduce the chance of being hit again by a super strong frontliner. Obviously replace it with melon armor ASAP. Also, I'm not a fan of your whale/deer combo. The deer is a super strong unit, but I don't think the whale really provides much utility unless you're running a team that buffs summons and gets stronger on ally faints. You need that whale to be level 3 to really make use of the deer. Also, I like the deer to take the first hit so that it always removes melon armor, allowing the bus to effectively do it's job.
whale is a super versatile unit, and it is really good if you build your team around it. For example, buffing a whale that swallows a turtle means it gets one garunteed hit in, and if it faints, lets the unit behind it get a shield as well, combine this with anything that relies on multiple attacks? Whale is perfect for the middle of your build.
if u stick the tiger behind the hippo im pretty sure that means everytimee it kills something itll gain 4-4 as a lvl one hippo cos itll proc its ability twice or stick it behind a giraffe so it buffs the guy infront of him twice
fun facts about the game u probably don't know if u press the double speed button a couple of times it becomes HUGE if u play online u get 15 hearts the elephant and the peacock are a nice combo
For the end battle: a level 3 batcher has the ability to do 150% of their damage upon death. It was a 50 50 batcher so 150% from 50 would be 50+75 so 125. At this point this batcher is an absolute god
I found a strategy that i won 10/10 on first try and that was only buying fish in the beginning until i have 6 then making 3 fish half upgraded, once you have 3 of your starting tier 2 animals in your party with the 3 fish, upgrade the fish into a single level 3 fish, upgrading all your other animals... at this point you grind through the game, with those tier 2 animals and keeping the level 3 fish, levelling up and getting tier 3s aswell until you get to tier 4 animals, upon which you get the Bison which gets upgraded from the level 3 fish each round to a maximum of 50/50 and using other animals like the rabbit to upgrade it... the final part of this strategy is having the snake (tier 6) behind the bison and the two animals of a snake (levelled up as much as possible) and the bison (stat upgraded as much as possible) can sweep pretty much all teams and this also gives you 1 - 2 free slots to put whatever you want... up to trophy 8/10 i had elephant, snake, bison, fish(3) and rabbit and then when my bison was maxxed i changed the fish and rabbit, which were my levelling animals, to animals that do damage by percentage (such as skunk) as at that level, you wont have the time or money to upgrade new animals to the same level so percentage based effects are necessary
My favorite summoner line up is Shark, Turkey, Fly, Whale, Deer. It has a pretty good flow of starting with tier one versions horse an crickets then you just replace as you unlock higher tiers. I haven't got it to work very well yet but I do really like cat + squirrel with like... just a big friend in front like a hippo that you just feed with cheap double food effects. As someone says the mushroom on the front deer doesn't work cause you don't have room for the deer to respawn + the bus... it only worked the first time cause they killed something in your back line with start of battle damage so you had more room.

Hippo with garlic is so powerful bc even at the lvl 1, enemies need >4 attack to scratch it which excludes most spawn creatures including buffed rams or crickets.
25:18 so it was because you can only have 5 units on the field! So the reason it worked properly on the fight before was because your leopard was killed so there was an open spot. If you wanted that to work properly, you could have either had one less animal when you entered battle. OR you could have an animal in front of your whale and deer so that animal would die first and then you would have a spot open for the new deer and bus :)
You don't know how mushroom works, ain't ya . The mushroom only work when there's a free space, and the bus is denying the deer's 2nd live by spawning ( because when the deer die, the bus arrived duh) so its only work when there's free space. The mushroom works best when on Mammoth with mushroom and a Whale behind ( you will get a total of +6/+6 to the other when the whale and your Mammoth is lv1, and total of +14/+14 (i guess) when your Whale and Mammoth is lv3 with mushroom)
My most successful builds since the update have been food based builds. Rabbit and/or seal, worm, and other animals that provide buffs. Just makes a super powered team! Only seems to work if you find the worm or rabbit early, though.
It hurts watching DF not get the mosquito to level 3 when he could especially when he had money to Spare and he didn't wanna to waste it on anything else

The first time you got two busses because your leopard was dead, so there was room for two. The second time only the deer was dead so there was only a space for one.

A really fun build you can do is
Tiger > whale > deer
Many buses, lots of splash damage
And if you put a shark in the back, they get a ton of buffs
DF you should use the worm because if you feed it a lot of food you can get some pretty high numbers

It was the Honey Badger that was level 3 with 50 attack, which means it did 3x its attack to both the penguin and your dodo bird.

Hippo with garlic is so powerful bc even at the lvl 1, enemies need >4 attack to scratch it which excludes most spawn creatures including buffed rams or crickets.

The round that ended circa 25:30 - you could've put a tiger behind the snake instead of a parrot, so snake becomes a sentry gun. ^^

The tiger makes the animal in front of it do their ability twice, not copy their ability, so that's why the parrot did nothing.
25:18 so it was because you can only have 5 units on the field! So the reason it worked properly on the fight before was because your leopard was killed so there was an open spot.
If you wanted that to work properly, you could have either had one less animal when you entered battle. OR you could have an animal in front of your whale and deer so that animal would die first and then you would have a spot open for the new deer and bus :)
You don't know how mushroom works, ain't ya . The mushroom only work when there's a free space, and the bus is denying the deer's 2nd live by spawning ( because when the deer die, the bus arrived duh) so its only work when there's free space. The mushroom works best when on Mammoth with mushroom and a Whale behind ( you will get a total of +6/+6 to the other when the whale and your Mammoth is lv1, and total of +14/+14 (i guess) when your Whale and Mammoth is lv3 with mushroom)
The most infuriating thing in this game is giving the last animal in your lineup a honey jar
My most successful builds since the update have been food based builds. Rabbit and/or seal, worm, and other animals that provide buffs. Just makes a super powered team! Only seems to work if you find the worm or rabbit early, though.
It hurts watching DF not get the mosquito to level 3 when he could especially when he had money to Spare and he didn't wanna to waste it on anything else
That second game stressed me out so much because he never saw the level 3 mosquito freeze for a tier 6 minion 😭🥲

Ok, the problem with the whale deer+extra life is you needed 3 spaces (including the deer and whale). Secondly USE THE CHILI PEPPERS!!!

The first time you got two busses because your leopard was dead, so there was room for two. The second time only the deer was dead so there was only a space for one.
