I’m dark skin and I have issues with the lace being to orange bronze color.
Same issue - watching a tone of videos on bleaching and saw one video that the person used blue shampoo and NOT purple (i.e. Shimmering Lights). I also like this application that PreciousMarie is using above

Another great idea (although takes time and skill, I’m a stylist” is buying a 613 wig and doing a tint back. I just just dye it red orange first (this makes sure the color doesn’t go green) then apply a custom dark brown color and avoid the k knots and you’ll have 0 warmth. Also toning the knots with like a level 8 or 9 ash tones it out as well.

Thank you ! I'm your complexion and have been struggling for YEARS to find ways to lighten the lace after bleaching knots. And it's crazy that so many vendors still don't carry transparent and/or HD lace for us lighter skinned folks. And I've found that some vendors only carry transparent lace in straight and body wave and not in curly patterns.

@@Celeste21yt it worked but just like with using concealer and other makeup, it left me with a bit of a cakey look. I rubbed a little bit of silicone that come with some of the “scar away” packages ( eBay) and that helped give it more of a moist look but didn’t last. I’ve tried Vaseline and aquaphor for that as well but it never lasts. One day there will be a better way to get rid of these horrible knots, I can never get them to bleach light enough

I am very new to wigs as in I am about to buy my first one. I have been binge watching your videos, so that when I do order my first wig, I will have some knowledge. I will also know what products to purchase. Thank you for providing all of this good information! Ok, I have to be honest…I’m still trying to fully understand what knots are... lol. I think know, and I’m sure I will know better once I get my first wig.

I over plucked my favorite unit how can i cover that up? I been looking through your videos and I probably missed it but I want to save my unit. Will black touch up root work for that as well? Your such a vibe. I love how you make every unit look so naturally beautiful
You can reventilate the balding spots. I always save the ear tabs and use that hair to reventilate. Also though, you can just replace the whole frontal section. I got a beautiful frontal piece from Amazon for less than $30. I may do a video on it.
I also had a problem with the lace wholes & knots. But one day I said to my self wait a minute. I am going to buy the Schwarzkolf Light blonde root retouch spray clicks it can spray up to 40 applications from clicks store R99. 99 it covers up the lace wholes including knots. I applied it on the inside & outside of the lace. Hair gel can be mixed with it. Apply it with a small or big paint brush. A hair dryer can be used to dry it. But I just let it dry the natural way. After I spray a lightly bit of perfect touch spray & stay super hold hair spray to seal it. This work good looks like a real scalp. Problem solved.

I tried to get a transparent lace wig from West Kiss and they said there is a shortage on all transparent lace because of covid! :( Sot I last night I just bought a couple of bundles instead from Nadula thinking I better get this lace before it's all gone but now I saw some bad reviews on the hair... :( I hope I did not waste my money....If I get makeup on the hair while putting it on the part, I spray a dark beauty supply touch up hair color on a tooth brush and brush it on the area cuz mascara seems to thick and the brush picks up hair

I tried this a couple of weeks ago but only on the bottom. I finished it off with freeze spray.
What does the Freeze spray do?
I had to upgrade to HD lace it’s the only lace that’s truly transparent

I bought HD lace for the same reason. The lace color blends with my very fair skin, BUT there's very visible dark knots. 😕 Can't win. 😭

You can use a damp cloth to wipe away the residue.

How is this method vs. sally Hansen spray? I definitely want to try this because I’m Caucasian and I always have trouble finding the units I want in a light lace. I also worry about these methods with getting wet, if it rains or something. Oh and I have ordered your Marie’s fake scalp on the prettylux hair website with the new clear lace but they only have one color hair available and long length. They really don’t have any shorter lengths or different colors available with the clear or transparent lace. My 1st wig doesn’t have any light lace for me either which is really a bummer. I’ve really come to realize I’m way better with the shorter length hair. Every time I order long hair it’s just too much hair for me. It’s heavy and a lot of times I realize I get way more lifting and slippage because the hair is so heavy even when I purchase the lighter density. But I’m excited to receive these units.
