Sawmillers at the Ogun State Open Day held in Shagamu highlighted the difficulties that they face in their day-to-day business. Speaking through a representative of the Wood and Marketing Association of the Ogun State, sawmillers said that Wood-Mizer’s equipment allows them to produce high quality sawn timber easily and efficiently, and that can be sold at a very good price. Old and inefficient machines that are still cutting in Nigeria, eat into the profits of sawmillers, but with Wood-Mizer, this has now changed, the representative said.
