I have never voted for anyone on AGT. Never even thought about voting for anyone. I voted for Angelica 10 times tonight. She's your little muffin, to me she's an angel. I absolutely adore her and she deserves to win.
Angelica-mazing did an AMAZING job!!!!!! Wow-o-Wow! Thanks for the great reaction. I LOVE her too. She is SPECIAL!!!!!! I listened back to her performance several times. The more you listen, the more you fall in love with the song. Each time I heard nuances I didn't hear initially. She had some powerful beautiful moments in the song. Did she take a risk? Yes. But, that is part of what makes this newly 10 year old so amazing. The more you listen to the song and her rendition, the more you love it. I see why she allowed the song to build up rather than beginning in power mode. She has enough maturity, gifting, vocal control, and mastery to take us on a journey with her vocally to higher and greater plateaus. The soft runs at the end were breathtaking. I am so godly proud of Angelica. Angelica has a phenomenal God-given talent and ability to interpret, sing, and make a song her own bulldozing right into your heart.
Here's why I love your reaction. You truly know how identify and appreciate the subtleties of the way Angelica performed, ie. the mischievous smile, the riffs, the growl, the sassiness, and even the runs going up near the end....& that's hard! You saw each and everyone of them not just the whistle note. Lastly your humor is infectious!

This is my girl! She has the best personality, she is truly friends with the other contestants. She is so talented. It's between her and Darci to win! The only thing is I have a problem with a 10 or 12 yr. old having a Las Vegas show. I love them both though.

Angelica is a walking miracle. She had double pneumonia when she was 4 years old. She developed sepsis in her lungs, a dangerous infection. Her lungs were bleeding and her kidneys failed. She went into a coma and she was on life support. Her mother gave her a kidney. Angelica and her mother only have one kidney. Angelica has an Amazing God-Given Gift. She also lost lung capacity and (medically) shouldn't be able to sing with such power. Angelica turned Without You into a Power Ballad with all her health challenges. She still has to take a lot of meds to keep her body from rejecting the kidney. I am amazed!!!!!!! She travels all over the country raising money for Children's hospitals. She is giving part of her winnings to the hospital charity she raises money for....... because of the great care they gave her. God was with Angelica'a mom during the pregnancy with her little sister because of the stain pregnancy can put on a woman' kidneys and she only has 1. Angelica is so humble, so sweet, and so awesome. Simply Amazing. I believe Darcy or Mandy could win this and it will be well deserved. But, my heart is for Angelica. I would love to see her win. So deserved. She has the kind of gift that comes along rarely within a lifetime.

I so agree with your reaction. Angelica continues to be amazing. Tonight, I listen to several other reactions and many of them commented that this was not her best performance. Not sure what they were listening to. This was a hard song and Angelica really worked it.... amazing. My three choices as this point (in no particular order) are Angelica, Darci, and Mandy. I think all three of them should win.
Angelica is my favorite in the competition. I am rooting for her and would love to see her win. But I actually agree that this wasn't her best performance and that's only because she has raised the bar so high for herself. It's hard to improve on perfection and her last performance of ''Clarity'' was as close to perfect as anyone can get, not to mention that she is only 10 years old. And ''Rise Up'' and ''Girl on Fire'' which were right behind it.
John Wyatt, funny thing is I actually had to go back and listen to it a few times before I understood what she was doing. She indeed sets the bar quite high but perhaps she threw too much at it for such a short time that most untrained ears wouldn't even pick up the skills involved with it. Put another way, she is too talented for her age range right now and will learn to control her talent more and more.
Duane, I agree and if you listen closely, you really catch the control she had. I think another point that people forget is if she made her semi-final performance any better, she would have no where to go for her final song. I think Angelica is smart enough to know that she can now "kill" her final performance in order to possible win it. I look forward to hearing what she does in the finale.

Not sure what they were listening to. This was a hard song and Angelica really worked it.... amazing. My three choices as this point (in no particular order) are Angelica, Darci, and Mandy. I think all three of them should win.
Angelica is my favorite in the competition. I am rooting for her and would love to see her win. But I actually agree that this wasn't her best performance and that's only because she has raised the bar so high for herself. It's hard to improve on perfection and her last performance of ''Clarity'' was as close to perfect as anyone can get, not to mention that she is only 10 years old. And ''Rise Up'' and ''Girl on Fire'' which were right behind it.
John Wyatt, funny thing is I actually had to go back and listen to it a few times before I understood what she was doing. She indeed sets the bar quite high but perhaps she threw too much at it for such a short time that most untrained ears wouldn't even pick up the skills involved with it. Put another way, she is too talented for her age range right now and will learn to control her talent more and more.
Duane, I agree and if you listen closely, you really catch the control she had. I think another point that people forget is if she made her semi-final performance any better, she would have no where to go for her final song. I think Angelica is smart enough to know that she can now "kill" her final performance in order to possible win it. I look forward to hearing what she does in the finale.
