INSANE Day Trip SANDALS Grande St Lucian!

We were staying at @SandalsResorts Regency La Toc all inclusive resort in St Lucia and took a day trip over to Sandals Grande St Lucian under the Stay at 1, Play at 3 scheme, where they have a free shuttle between resorts and you can use all of the facilities at other resorts just as if you were at the one you are staying in - including all inclusive food and drinks!
This is not a full resort review, it is aimed more at giving you an idea of what to expect if you come over from one of the other resorts on a day trip.
If you're looking for things to do while on holiday / vacation in St Lucia, then a tour of all three all-inclusive resorts (Sandals Regency La Toc, Sandals Halcyon Beach and Sandals Grand St Lucian) is a great way to spend a day or two and get an idea of what each resort has to offer.

If you visit one of the other 2 Sandals resorts from your 'home base resort' for the day to use the beaches and pools, do you get facilities to use to shower/change into some evening attire to use one of the restaurants etc before getting the shuttle back to your base ???
Great question! There are a few answers to this!
The most basic is that there are showers between the beach and the resort, but you don't really want to get your loofah lathered up in public, so it's an option for a quick spruce up, but not if you want to get your glam on. You could then change clothes in a clean loo.
Next.option would be to use the showers / lockers in the Red Lane Spa. Showers, sauna and plunge pool (where available) are free at the Spa and you don't need to book them. Just make sure you find out what time they are closing!
Third option - and I don't know if this exists at all Sandals Resorts - but some have a 'departure lounge' - dedicated shower room and lockers for people to use on their last day after they have checked out of the room, but before they leave the resort. I'm pretty sure Halcyon has one of these, but you'd need to ping them and email to double check.
The final option - and this is down to availability, luck and who you happen to talk to on the day - but I have heard of folk asking if they can use an unoccupied guest room and being given one for the whole day for free - that has to be worth an ask!

Does butler service transfer across resorts? If you have a butler service room at La Toc but go to Grande SL for a day, do you still get butler service at Grande SL?
Great question - I wondered the same thing! Answer is No, you get assigned a team of 3 butlers at your base resort on arrival and it's only those guys who will give you that service. When you go to the other resorts, you're basically Luxury level while you're there.

Given the only thing you would need butler service for a day visit it reserving beach or pool chairs, you may ask your home resort butler if they can contact a butler at the visiting resort to reserve chairs.
You could also have them bring you drinks and food while you enjoy the beach at another resort, which was my primary interest.
