When Rhett and link are old in the retirement home together they will DESTROY at some shuffleboarding!
Eryck Owens well, Rhett will 😂
They're gonna pwn all their friends at the retirement home
I cant believe I actually got hearted!!!
Lightning mcgee you right 😂

Nice pic
I like your cover photo
"I think it's a show of dominance to eat their cake." ~Link 2019
*Said with confidence*
Haha... i lol at that 😂
I EAT YOUR MILKSHAKE
Incidentally German Chocolate Cake has nothing to do with Germany. It's named after an English-American chocolate maker named Samuel German.

The Cosmic Consortium of Curiosity
Well a lot of episodes have food in them
The cakes were actually made by someone else! @cakesbylacy on Instagram
@@rowenbeardslee694 thank you for the shout out! Although Josh is pretty awesome and he did make the bologna and cream cheese cake..which actually looked really delicious to me!
@The Cosmic Consortium of Curiosity Yeah. You know how the ONLY thing the president ever does is run the country and the ONLY thing a footballer does is plays football? Like everyone in the world is putting in so little effort!
Joe so sassy 😂 but you’re right, I love it lol
Rhett is so ridiculously tall that he makes 6 foot tall Link look short.

SunnyGachaGirl the funny part is that German chocolate cake isn’t even from Germany. The guy who first made it had the last name German
Xanta Klaus Exactly! 😂😂😂
Y'all should play this like you did the Wish game... Point for guessing right, point for being closest.
Yes
i think this everytime ugh
I think the darts game should have that element added too, lol. It always bugs me when they guess the right country but lose because of a bad throw. That would be trickier since it’s based on measurement not points, but I think they should *somehow* account for that.
Hey mythical beasts! I have a question about the VIP tickets for one of their concerts. In the VIP package, it says that you have early entry, however it doesn't specify what time the early entry is. Have any of you experienced this confusion?
Totally agree
The Where in the World game and the Shuffleboard game back to back?! This is wonderfully crazy
I agree. I love the darts one
These two are the best games currently on GMM
want more "it, or what it eats"!
"No, I think it was a show of dominance to eat their cake" Link with the quick witty response lol
Problem is, it's not "their" cake. German chocolate cake was originally called German's chocolate cake, because it was invented by the American baker Samuel German. In the 1950s. It's not a German cake at all.
@@puckerings It's wasn't German chocolate cake it was sauerkraut chocolate cake

Hi, I just want to spread the message that nobody in Germany would ever put Sauerkraut on their cake.
As an American and general human I feel like No one ever should put sauerkraut on their cake unless they're unbelievably drunk; cuz if your that drunk it could be garbage and you'd never know.
Thanks for clearing that up for me
Arya Lara I don’t believe that
Never!!!!
Sauerkraut cake is AMAZING when it's made correctly. We don't put sauerkraut ON the cake, but it is IN the batter and the icing. It's great! We have it every year for my hubby's birthday.

Legionary42 nope, looked identical to this one but purple I think (it’s been 15 years)
Brooklyn Buck Purple is the color of asphyxiated Barbie. From Mattel.
Me too! I loved those cakes!
My aunt had one in 1988
Fun fact: German cake isn't actually from Germany. It was created by some dude named Samuel German around 1852.

SUGGESTION: 2 points for calling the year and 1 point for landing it?
I think it should be 1 point for guessing and 1 point for landing it.
I love all of the different point suggestions. I was thinking that guessing the year would be 1 point, and landing on the year would be 2 (since guessing it is knowledge based and landing it takes skill and strategy). And if no one lands it, the closest gets 1 point .
I think that bake on the Lady Baltimore went well. Compared to Jack's.
Finally! Link won! That makes me happy!
Rhett looks so good this episode. I love well fitted jeans

FYI: German chocolate cake was invented by a man in New York, whose last name was German 👍
Update below - I'm off a little bit
It was originally "German's" chocolate cake but the s got lost after a while
TRUE FACT!
Yup. I'm German and I never heard of it until recently and am very sure it doesn't even exist here 😂
Texas actually
@@kikirestforever yep, I listened to the NPR podcast episode years ago. Turns out an Englishman in MA not NY, Samuel German invented the presugared chocolate to make it & a Texan named Ms. George Clay (seems sexist but ok) made the recipe 😁

Whose idea was cabbage cake though, yikes.

Tomato soup cake is still super popular here in Quebec! Tastes just like carrot cake, we usually add raisins and nuts in the batter with a sweet cream cheese frosting, and no ketchup or anything tomato-like on top of the cake haha
Vrai
...why?
@@TheFishingMommy ...why not?
Jessika Champagne it’s just a strange combination, tomatoes & cake. 🤷🏼♀️
Also, if you want to eat something that tastes like carrot cake, why not just make carrot cake?
@@TheFishingMommy it's just a tradition here :) I don't know where it derived from, the idea to use tomato soup, but it's really cherished especially by older Quebecers ( and I have to say I love it myself! Has a richer, more flavorful taste than carrot cake)

I’m a pastry baker so this is probably one of my favorite episode ever lol
My dad made my sister a Barbie cake in 1968. I was always jealous of that cake. I think after he tried the first time he didn't want to ever make it again. He and my mom later made a free standing teddy bear cake for my son's first birthday. He was really good at decorating cakes and my mom was good at baking them. They were a great team.
Wow, shocking. Link doesn't love cake. Who would have thought?
I know 2 year olds that are less picky, honestly.
