As much as this song speaks to my soul on how Yah has brought me through, it brings back alot of memories about my mom Evangelist Ellis who died 2 years ago RIP. I remember she used to blast this song throughout the house and dance and shout just like this lady and she was also Jamaican. I miss you mommy I still can't believe your dead. My God have mercy on her My mom died on her knees praying.

This song has built my faith. i have gone through very trying moments the last two months. I could not pray because even did not know what else to say. I decided to play it over and over again . now l feel strong and courageous. I had lost everything, job, vehicle, house family everything. Today am strong because the Lord is my shelter.

I thank God for this song. I'm not jamaican or from the carribeans, but I grew up in a church that had come from Jamaica and the church was always a family towards me. I grew up singing songs like this but when i was older we moved so we went to a different church. It's funny because they sang songs country style so when I sang songs for them it was always with a calypso or reggae beat and the band would always get lost. But PRAISE GOD for Marvia Providence and this song.
