love this episode. there are many stories all over the world where giants and little people lived close to each ohter. you can google kashmir giants and you will find photos of 1903 of a man with the kashmir giants and little people at the same time. there is definetly something to it.

That rock 🪨 that was shaped like a bowl top? That was a sacrifice table. The “Nunumbi” of the Shoshone and Paiute Indian Tribes were Little People; no more than 3 feet tall. They were notorious “People Eaters”!

* Those rock formations and petroglyphs look like the terrain of my state of Durango Mexico. However, no disrespect to the scholar, which was really nice for him to give an offering before entering this sacred alter. Some billion years ago, many of many of these jagged terrain where carved by water and glaciers and eventually where just body of waters that evaporated over time; which allowed tribes to not “fly” but swim to get the highest portion of that formation to leave their mark.
Those are some wild roads. Reminds me of the jeep roads in Ouray, CO. I wouldn't want to get lost out there. Such a beautiful area. What an awesome experience.

The circle of stones is a native medicine wheel . The circle is sacred to the indigenous people.
That is NOT a "wagon wheel", it is likely a sacred Medicine Wheel created by one of the Indegionus Tribes in the area

How would petroglyphs that are exposed to the elements survive 10,000 years of pounding rain and cataclysmic flooding? There is no way those are 10,000 years old. Don't get me wrong it was waaay cool but imo you overstayed the handprints and, incredibly, neglected that insane looking ridge across the way that looked like "little people" condominium complex dwellings.
