I was in the crowd for the famous 70s live album in Glasgow. The energy of the band live was incredible.
'Lonely man' was always my favourite from them, maybe 'Rain' a very close tie.Love that double they did circa 70's/80's but Alan Lancaster seemed to struggle a tad vocally with 'Better Way' lol.Great musician and much missed, alongside Rick.
If i wanted this as a gift for a loved one, i would purchase the Vinyl, not a cheap CD!
Mystery song, love it. Only became appreciative of Quo a few years ago. My brother was hooked in the 70s. I used to rip into him in those days as I thought at that time Quo were lightweights of the rock genre, compared to Zep, Purple, Priest etc. But now I appreciate them much more. Good foot tapping music with down to Earth working class lyrics. RIP Rick Parfitt and thanks for his contribution to a now iconic band. Werent we lucky to be around in the late 60s through the 70s. Rock music was being forged in those days.
So there are some classics with some absolute bummers. One wonders how Fran would of done without trading off the Status Quo brand. Just one of many, many tribute acts popping up on YT.
If I wanted to give a gift to a loved one about Status Quo, I would rather give material from the 70s period, obviously!
They’ve brought out more live albums than James Last !
Don't like them card cd type box. Best cd case in my opinion is the case that Doors had around ten years ago
