Yes Jamaica has a lot of wealth. Some of the things we don't know the use them so we take them for granted. My brother went to visit our family's land in Westmoreland and my cousin cut most of the fruit trees including cocoa and bizzy (cola nut) to plant weed. I couldn't believe it.
I like the work that you have been doing. However, cutting down the greenery was a mistake. It went from a place of beauty to look like a disaster area. Creating a road through the greenery would have been better and more beautiful. It's good to work with nature and not against it. It's not important to see the house from the road, but the beauty from the house is what's important.

Colaz, here is some advice: Do not build a road up to the house for it is going to become a watercourse and washed away. Instead, of building a Road build a parking lot down by the Road and a series of steps from the Road up to the house. The reason why you should not build a road is that This hillside land is prone to erosion. Just remember how much of the soil around the house was washed away. The road will contribute to erosion and this soil will eventually find itself in the watercourse at Esah Lawn. Not good for the environment. The other recommendation is to plant trees such as coconut, ackee, mangoes, etc. across the slope to help hold back the soil. What you are doing is good, but please also consider preserving the environment.

If you were watching you would have noticed the challenges to get materials to the location. They can't even use a wheelbarrow to make their job easier. God forbid if anything should happen to any his client, the time they get help can make a difference between life and death, which can incur heavy lawsuit.
