- 2020 was such a tough time for me personally! When the pandemic hit, it literally felt like I hit a wall. I was going through so much mental instability just questioning the purpose behind everything I was doing. As challenging of a time that was, it truly helped me discover who I am, understand my emotions and how to deal with them. I am extremely excited for 2022 because I feel super empowered and can’t wait to share everything and take you on this journey with me, together as a community we are a limitless force.

This is so important. The pandemic has had an such a huge effect on people aside from losing people. Financially, many people continue to struggle & the beauty industry is so focused on consumerism which is not many average people’s reality.

Huda!! It has been a hard few years. But I have to say you are my all time fav! You have been so selfless and caring through all of this. I remember in 2020 I received a gift card from y’all for Christmas and I was able to get my kids a gift for Christmas after someone had scammed me. And all last year, y’all sent me makeup to test and I got accepted again this year! I came into this year having lost my cousin the week of Thanksgiving last year and my grandpa this month. I haven’t been looking forward to much. But now I have your content and makeup to look forward to. And I just want to say thank you for being the type of person you are. And for putting so much love in what you do. And for being the light we need during these times. You are truly one of a kind and the big sis I’ve never had. Love you! ❤️

Going from posting fun video's to becoming responsible for people that rely on you for a paycheck is a whole different level that you need to be mentally prepared and trained for. You taking care of your mental and physical health at all times is so important. Prioritize it and delegate as much as you can. You are so loved and everyone in every field has been affected by the state of the world right now. Our brains can only focus on so much, and make-up and skincare is always a positive, fun outlet for so many of us. It's like a fantasy world where we can create anything and the colors, scents and options are so beautiful. I've been following your blog almost since the beginning. Way before social media grew into what it is. Thank you for normalizing the conversation about pandemic trauma. I feel it has been so hard for everyone and Everything, and although i get that some people don't want to focus on negative, denying the situation around doesn't help either. I lost interest in makeup and beauty during 2020 since i was scared, lost job etc, almost getting divorced, and then people dying. I got excited to see your last launch in Nov and i got everything lol..i felt renewed and decided to embrace makeup artist studies this year. I can't wait to see more of you over here big sister we all love you 💕💕💕✨
2020 has been a difficult year for all of us. For me, personally it has been the worst phase I've ever seen myself in and I'm so glad that we're all taking a step ahead, even though they're baby steps, but we're walking towards empowering ourselves. It was a tough time as an influencer, however for me I was stuck in a basement addicted and oppressed. I was hopeless. I was without hope. I flew to Indianapolis after a head on collision. My mom bought me a ticket. I left all my makeup behind (so you know that’s bad) yet here I am and I’m being influenced by you! You were finding yourself in your own way. I was finding myself through Covid to become an influencer. Thank you! I’m getting my shipment by 7:00 pm today! I will be doing an unboxing tonight or tomorrow. I live your family and this community! As I can I will order and post. I will give back! As I am able! We are a force!

I feel where you're coming from. I got covid last year in august and it was so bad. I lost my taste and smell for about 2 months and it truly sucked but I'm back and healthier than ever. For the longest time , I was so depressed and uninspired and now I just wanna play with makeup and try to have fun. I havent gotten the vaccine yet due to being scared it will backlash due to me having covid lol. I cannot wait to see what content you create ! I'm so glad you're back.
