- Firstly, this is just a trailer and I'M NOT MAKING the whole film, that would take forever. This film was made as the practical part of my Unit 3+4 VCE Media course and was filmed in about a month. The buying of bricks and pre-planning happened for months before this though. Since I finished in a rush I'm not too happy about the music, but it'll do. I'd like to thank my voice actors, Ariane Formosa, Bert Loos, Roman Boyar, Finlay Coulter, Richard Connolly and Nick Campbell. The film was shot with a Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and Stop Motion Pro, and edited with Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS3.
12 years later and this is still one of the best lego videos I have ever seen.
Dude, that was amazing! Lighting, sets, cinematography, animation were all extremely polished. One of the best brickfilms this year for sure.
dude you have so much talent please make this a movie it would be amazing and many people would want to see it!
11 years have passed, and this video still goes hard! It's even more accurate to the book than any other adaptation, and it's just a fan-made preview!
That movie would've been awesome if he made the full movie.

This is, hands down, one of the best brickfilms I've ever seen.
I'm dead serious. The HD video, the set design was amazing, the animation was smooth and excellently done, the camera moves were perfect... I really can't critique this. That would be superfluous.

😂 So funny, Bram Stokers 🧛♂️ Dracula with Lego toy figurines for kids, so funny the conversation between Dracula and Jonathan Lego Harker in Lego Draculas Castle, also the spiderwebs are made by Lego, great funny trash, its so silly that it is on the other side already cult. Lego make everything possible. 😊

What a blast to watch, trailers can be fun because of all the different scenes and shots on rapid fire.
@director0ruby Hey I slid baseplates of trees past the window, using some forced perspective by using small trees in the background and moving the small trees at half the speed of the big trees to make them look distant. This is a fantastic piece of work. Beautifully designed sets and amazingly animated. The only part I feel could be improved upon was the voice acting, but other than that, simply fantastic. Shame it's not coming soon. I would pay to see something of this caliber, in full, in a theater.
I plan on making a Lego version of Dracula but I'm afraid I don't have the stop motion skills or the right set pieces. This was a great trailer by the way, I can't believe Jonathan Harker didn't realize that Dracula was a vampire in this trailer, he has fangs, red eyes, and a vampiristic haircut!
@director0ruby No worries mate, the main reason to do it that ways is so you don't have to move the set/camera, meaning you won't get set bumps/camera movement.
I've got an idea for one that I'm considering making in the coming weeks actually, I've got a uni break starting next week.
plz make this into a film u could win an oscar for this and u could sell it on dvd or it can be released in theatre its so epic
I had most of the bricks already, I only had to buy a small amount to make the film. Secondly, I don't know if you've read the book or not, but if you haven't then trust me, you don't want to watch a full length movie. My trailer features all the exciting bits; apart from that it's not a very fun read, the male characters just say how beautiful and caring the female characters are and vice versa. It gets extremely boring and repetitive after a while. Read it and you'll see what I mean.
This is really good, I have to do this too but for a school project... Obviously Mine is no where near your quality.

I highly doubt they would, it's not a licensed theme and it hasn't been around for ages.

Glad you like it! Your voice acting is great, don't worry. Maybe someday you'll get a bigger part...not this year though, VCE is going to get in the way of any new productions.
I'm pretty sure that was based off Bram Stoker's 1890 novel since comic books haven't been around that long.

I'm blown away. That is simply amazing. Actually, it's not so simple; I can tell you've put a great effort into this. It's a brilliant trailer by itself, and the film (Were it to be made) looks like it would be a sweet blockbuster. I also have to echo fancypants' sentiments.
