my calf Muscles always feel tight, almost swollen. I've been looking for good stretching exercises so I'm glad a found this, thanks!
Thanks for sharing video...
When leg is straight
* Gastrocnemius
When knee is bent
* Soleus
Before this video, I've always performed both stretches for years...
But never knew the different muscles it was working...
Are you freaking kidding me? i had a tight calf for over 2 weeks due to walking an uphill road twice a day because of my work. Did that strech just once and my tightness went away! Me and my wallet thank you a lot!
I did a hundred calf raises last night thats why mine hurt
Glad to hear it worked for you. I've been pushing a stroller up hill for about 3mo and it's killing me.
I will try
THANK YOU!! I’m currently on a run and my calf’s tightened up so much that I couldn’t even stand up anymore 😭this made the pain go away! Thank you!! I’m using this everyday 💙
I have terribly tight calf muscles - so bad I was told by my doctor to regularly go for physiotheraphy. Thanks so much for the video
OMG I CAN RUN NOW!
THANK YOU EVERYTIME I PLAY BASKETBALL MY CALFS ALWAYS GET PULLED AND NOW WITH THESE EXERCISES I WILL BE OK!!
Thank you for clarifying the calf muscles parts and the workouts
Thanks for watching!

I can’t believe this works. My calves were killing me and these stretches killed me too honestly lol but after I was done the pain disappeared!!!
Thanks for watching!
thanks this helped a lot
thank you sooo much!
Thanks for the share. I went to the gym and worked out my calves. I didnt feel no tight pain untill two days later.I stretched it out but i was doing something wrong somce the tightness was not wearing out. I was all day at worked with problems trying to walk around. I found this video and i stretched out to it resulting in total relieve to my calves. I wish i knew this a long time ago. I will be incorporating this stretch everyday now. Thanks again!
Thanks!
Thank you Sir!
nice , Shared!
Worth a watch who'd have thought just turning your heel out (I've never felt my calf muscle stretch) I do now lol
This is a great video, but I'm curious on your thoughts about adding a supination component to the stretch with the foot in a neutral position. When I do this, I feel a much greater stretch in the targeted muscle. Anyone else?
this is somehow overly interesting and helpful 👍 it actually works!
Thank you so much you saved my calves
I wish I knew that soleus stretch before I started playing basketball for the first time in 10 years, It would of saved me days of ice,compression and rest. I'm definitely using both stretches before next time I start playing.
Really helps when riding
Buddy of mine who’s a letter carrier, walks a ton, told me work on shins and front too. I have a deep gastroc strain that flares up whenever I try to give extra on sprint. It’s on outer part right calf and feels deep in there. Any other suggestions?
Defiantly, the shins need to be worked they are the antagonists of the calfs. Check out our Shin, Calf, Ankle& Foot Exercise Playlist - qrcodes.pro/ad5BKG Exercise #3 is a good way to stretch out the shins, and the eccentric calf raises work well for strengthening. #9 Also consider hamstring strength should be considered with any lower extremity injury #19
Nice
Thanks
