    I feel robbed even more listening to their conversation. I worked in the UK for General Dynamics Information Technology. I never got bonuses. There was no opportunity to cross trained. My base pay was $70K and with COLA and housing, I made $136K on W-2. I'm back in the United States. I feel like i wasted 13 months of my life. I'm prior military, so I had a clearance. I have CompTIA A+ and Sec+. Do I need to go back to school?!

    • @baeegif
      @baeegif 10 місяців тому +2

      Different contracts pay differently of course. Places like the UK, Germany, etc. usually have lower overall pay because you still get a good quality of life there. To maximize your income when out of the country I'd suggest a war zone or a more specialized area that demands higher pay. Most of the people I worked alongside didn't have a degree.

    Hello, I've been watching all your videos. And love the information. Thank you.
    However, I've been thinking about buying your course. But I am wanting to go the cyber security route. I heard you mention in the video that to get a gov tech job with your first being cybersecurity is hard. What should I be going for then? I'm confused.

      @@Cartiih You train yourself up and get the skills that job is looking for, you apply for the job and show your skills in the interview to show your value. If they think you have enough value or just like your personality and think you can handle it then they'll hire you and start the paperwork for your clearance. If you pass the background check amongst other things, you'll get the clearance.
