It was a bug back in the beginning of season 21. I have the same pose equipped as the first gameplay but it just doesnt show the pose; that was the bug.

In your second fight, you could’ve put the ultimate down on high ground then pushed and then you could’ve used it to go back to get back to high ground when the last one ran so you would’ve never had to chase

Yeah I suppose so. There was no way for me to know though that the conduit was going to be a solo and end up running away. You are right though.
