It's that time of the year again when we can simply shrug off all the crap talk about our weeb purchases! Here's my entry to the lots of Anime Figure Haul videos for Christmas ☃️
Let’s begin with the smallest. this is a new line by MEGAHOUSE, it’s from the look up series, Itadori Yuji. Definitely a purchase I don’t regret. He is adorable however, given it’s a small figure with minimal articulation, I hoped MEGAHOUSE sold him for a bit less. Not the best details but cute enough to bring everywhere.
Next is my most anticipated nendoroid this year, BAYMAX by GOODSMILE COMPANY. I bought baymax for 49 dollars and it’s honestly underwhelming. He’s such a simple character, how I wish they atleast included his charging dock or another extra tummy.
I bought a lot of Hatsune Miku figures this month, let’s start with the Hatsune Miku Pierretta by SEGA. The figure comes in four parts. the base, lower part, detachable skirt and the upper body. I really like miku figures done by SEGA. They capture the Hatsune Miku faceplates closest to her original face features.
Next is the Hatsune Miku Sweet Tea figure. Right of bat, I wanna say I'm disappointed haha!
She doesn’t look Hatsune Miku ish at all. The only way you could tell is because of her long ass twin tails. Take that away and we only have a suspicious looking kid that looks at you with eyes ready to either judge you or blackmail you. haha!
Next is a Sakura Miku figure from the doll crystal series by TAITO. Honestly, I wanted to pass buying this since I initially disliked the standard Hatsune Miku figure. However, I felt something missing whenever i look at the standard miku without a figure with the same type, so I bought her to atleast make them a pair.
Another figure done by TAITO, Snow White Hatsune miku figure from their WONDERLAND line.
I really really love this concept. To have Hatsune Miku in different classic princess version is just something I never thought would happen. I love looking at her face as much as i love her easter bunny version.
Another one from the wonderland line, this is the Hatsune Miku Red Riding Hood version.
I even feel more regretful now that this reminds me of the red riding hood figure done by max factory I believe? I understand they had to follow the concept of red riding hood but can’t the eyesight look straight or atleast better.
Before we move on to the next figures, let me show you my tapestries first. These are my first Hatsune Miku tapestries and I really love them already.
Next is Hatsune Miku Happy Cat figure. I really don’t wanna say this anymore but I’m disappointed. You see, TAITO is a hit or miss brand. They really don’t have consistency with their work. I honestly can’t recommend this.
Last anime figure for my December Anime Figure Haul is CC swimsuit version by Union Creative. I really love this figure already! So there are a lot of cc figures out there and some are unreasonably pricey but out of all the CC anime figures, I believe Union Creative does the best looking ones. Honestly, her pose is so perfect I can’t seem to find a single thing to complain about.
And I believe the best thing is her face. Union Creative captured cc and did her justice. No weird or awkward looking face. This is how a CC figure should be done. This is the first time in my entire life where I feel like wanting to kiss a figure. I mean her lips are so irresistible! But I'm not at that level of degeneracy yet so don’t worry I won’t harm CC.

Ooooh the birthday cat Miku figure gave me so much trouble! I had to super glue her leg peg to the base because she kept falling over because the peg would not stay still.

Super happy you covered the sweet time miku with the strawberries figure because I wanted her for the longest but seeing that she is super underwhelming helped me save a lot of money, same goes for bay max!
I was looking forward since she looked really cute and nice from the reference art however, it was sort of ta given already that details won't be exactly the same since she's a prize figure. Just kinda disappointed since she looks nothing like Miku IMO. I know Miku has a lot of modules but y'know, there are just Miku figures that would exactly look Miku~ish. Idk if that made sense haha
@@JennySupremo Miku's actual SPMS are what I think are the peak for miku figures! Almost all of them look exactly like miku no matter what module! :))
True!!! SPMs are the closest to her original look IMO-- altho some just look y'know. Lacking in terms of colors and shading but they're cheap so I guess that's why details like that got compromised.
@@JennySupremo no I get it some SPM's are super cheap and don't do the modules justice, however some like the secret police and ribbon girl are my favorites bc for the price they could pass for borderline scale figures seeing the quality and the size of them! But sadly it's all hit or miss luckily miku has so many figures to choose from :))

Omg. If you're looking for a really good Miku figure, I suggest you either save up for nendoroids or her scaled figures. That would make you spend more tho. If budget is concerned, I guess SEGA and TAITO could still suffice. Just choose the ones with good reviews or watch unboxing videos first before buying. I love the Sakura Miku 2021 by Taito. It's a good figure to buy! Also, love the Easter bunny figure and the seasonal versions of Miku. Here's my top 10 Hatsune Miku figures for 2021 If you're interested to watch ☺️ maybe you'll find one you'll like hehe

I get a lot of --you don't like most of your Mikus. Haha! I just can't help it and I don't think they can understand me but I'm happy you understand me somehow Tom. There are tons of Miku figures out there so it's not a surprise to get unsatisfactory quality figures. We notice a lot of details and get disappointed because there are also a lot of good looking Mikus out there for both prize and scaled. Comparison is inevitable. :(

It's my birthday in february so as a very broke 15 year old teen who only have a 300 pesos budget I bought a bootleg hatsune miku easter bunny figure and IT TURNED OUT TO BE BETTER THAN I THOUGHT !! it only cost me 297 pesos and I'm so happy about the face and the paint job !! Recently Lang ako nag start Ng collection ko and when I started it was only 1 figure for a year Kasi maraming bayarin and Ning Una namamahalan pa talaga ako kahit Yung mga banpresto na figures pa. But come 2020, my work was getting more stable despite the pandemic, dumaminna collections ko hehe. Hmmmm among the three I think snow white Miku is the best bet. She's small in comparison to pierretta but her faceplate is better. If you consider size tho, then go for pierretta instead. 😉👌🏻 If completing the princess Miku was not my goal, I won't be buying red riding hood tbh

I just doubled my Miku collection and bought 4 online over the holidays. :) For your IKEA cases, did you use two DETOLF and remove the wall panes in the middle to combine them?

We don't have IKEA from where I live but we have a detolf alike. I don't think doing that idea would be good. IMO. I would rather buy a wide cabinet than the slimmer cabinets. Luckily, we have shops that offers custom made cabs so that's what I usually do. Just y'know. Hand them a sample photo and measurements. I'm sorry I wasn't helpful 😭

It might damage your cabs as it's not what it's really intended. I have not seen anyone I know do that as well so I really can't recommend or advise. :/

Actually u inspired me to get my first ever miku! I am a male figure only collector but I love the Arabian miku so much, when I saw her I just knew I need to have her. Is there a Alice version yet? I might get that one too since the outfit looks great
The Alice Miku is already out for pre order. Although I believe among all the princess type Mikus, Arabian Miku and Mermaid Miku looked the prettiest. 💕

A sub once told me to purchase from AliExpress and I tried but unfortunately, it won't proceed when I try to check it out due to my place being almost remote lol. @@JennySupremo yess! That would be ok and I think talking about it is just as good. There is this one shinigami that I’ve never seen that people repeatedly keep on calling light and I’ve never seen another episode after light dies so I was very confused.
Oh. That one was showed at the DN OVA however the theory of him being Light is sorta debatable. But I really think Light became a shinigami. Just not sure if that's the one. I mean, in the beginning, Ryuk did state that deathnote users won't go to heaven or hell 🤷🏻♀️ so where do they go? Probably shinigami world?

The strawberry shortcake looking Miku is like a kiddie approach to her image so it will depend on preferences. The bday cat on the other hand is just pure disappointment 😂

Unfortunately I don't. If it's the one made by Kotobukiya, it's very expensive now given the popularity of the character. It's gonna be kinda hard to look for the same figure with a cheaper price. Unless you see one over Amiami pre owned figures with minor damages. :(

If you can't provide, just try and look at the reviews, sample photos and ratings. And ofcourse the product details. If it's fake, they usually use different manufacturers

The arabian miku doesn't belong to the Wonderland series (same with mermaid and alice), I don't know why they decided to start two fairy story lines at the same time this makes it confusing...
I'm still waiting for my Snow white Miku figure, sad that you don't really like them... Anyway, nice haul, maybe you can sell the mikus that you really don't like?

@@JennySupremo Nah, the arabian, mermaid and co. belong to the Artist MasterPiece line, your Birthday Cat Miku also belongs to this line. It is really confusing that they released two lines with fairy themed designs...

No Baymax going falalala hands? Disappointing looking nendoroid, if I'm honest. I wouldn't buy it. Nice haul though, too bad you were disappointed by so many of the Miku's.
I did buy myself a figure for Christmas - It's the Fushiguro Megumi (Jujutsu Kaisen) 1/8 scale, Artfx J. The divine dog looks great, and so does Fushiguro (though in my opinion his hands look too big and his hair is a little shorter than expected).
True. A lot of prize Miku figures lately were not as good as the ones released in the past 😭😭 Idk if they're cost cutting or something.
How I wish they made more accessories with Baymax. It would have been cool to have his charging dock or his armour --- or atleast their cat. 🙁
