I believe an 07 vulvan is easiest to do with an aero key set, it's only like 70 keys. Could make it of you want. The lishi works well on it usually but I keep a accu just in case.
@@russej02 for sure, but you never know when something is odd or broken and it can pay off the have the other. Personally I'm not a fan of kawasucky at all.
Do you know anything about the Lishi KW14(15) decoder? I have a KLR650 that came with one key, and I saw the Lishi 2-in-1 on LPL's channel. The KW14 is just a "key reader", not a pick as well, like the one in your video here. However, it doesn't read out valid cut values on my bike. Any tips?
From what I can see that reader should work. Have you decoded your key and you know you aren’t getting good readings? Send me a pic of the ignition and the key. Email me at theboredlockpicker@gmail.com
@@russej02 nope. I've got a key, a bike, and the Lishi reader. My key has 3 of 4 possible cuts, tho I don't know which ones they are. One of them is the '0' cut. I'll send a pic.
@@russej02 sorry I just parsed.what you were asking. In the lock core, the reader indicates off the top and bottom of the scale on some pins. I assume that's invalid. I have almost no practical lockpicking experience, but I've watched a silly amount of videos.
There’s no actual pick for an r6 just the director. You could read the wafers in the tank with but you’d have to cut a key or hand file a key. Yh35 is literally a mirror image if Yh35r one key won’t enter the keyway on the other one
@@5thgearpinned450 unfortunately not. There is a pick for Yh35r but it’s for ignitions with a magnetic dust cover. I have not had luck with it on regular ignitions or gas caps because it sticks out the lock way to far. You can pick a gas with lock picks. They aren’t usually to tough.
yes this one is for motorcycles. I have a playlist on my other channel with information and a lot of different lishi tools ua-cam.com/play/PL8RCMQVRECTTbqLa96uhcVZJ5eBlEewBL.html
it only reads this keyway. I dont think they make one for the reverse of it. I'd have to look but i think I have an accu reader for the opposite profile
My YH35R must be for the YM64 because it's never worked a YM63 keyway.. Tried it again today on a R6 after the tenth time. I went it one way only but the lifter is facing the wrong way.
@@dejanradivojevic8660 you asked this same question on at least two videos on my other channel. on that channel there's a paypal donation link and an email address if you want to email them over.
Didn’t even know there was an extended length one. I’ve yet to run into a Yamaha using this keyway that this reader hasn’t worked. If for some reason it can’t reach the bottom of the ignition you could progress the last one or just use the gas cap or seat lock and progress it
Just checked it out. It’s for the bikes with magnetic gates. I have the yh35 for magnetic gates. I don’t even know if those bikes are in the United States. I do a lot of motorcycles and haven’t ran across one yet.
Nice work! The tools are great to have.
the really make my work easier
Quick question I just start learning how to use key reader how do you know which side to insert in a car?
if its a double sided lock you insert it one way read evens or odds then flip and read the other side
which would you prefer when working on a Kawasaki vulcan 2007 lishi or accureader?
lishi. I always prefer lishi tools over accu readers.

Mark Willadsen using the Lishi it’s a 3-4 minute job

I use it all the time. Kawasaki sucks though. The code fill programs are often wrong on different code series. What year is your bike?

Will this exact one work on my r6 also whats the difference between this yh35r and the yh35 i need to pick the gastank for my bike

You will need to look up what silca key blank that bike uses
I checked and it uses that same key
