this is really awesome! how do you set your isomorphic layout? is it just within the scale mode onboard the launchpad or was there any extra computer magic? so beautiful!
considering buying one... I have no idea how notes are structured on a launchpad, trying to figure that out. How does this genius knows where each note is? What one man can do, another can do! If I can do 1% of what I have just saw, I would be proud of me and it would have been a worthy purchase
have you tried playing in 3rds tunning instead of 4ths ? structure of triads is more comfortable (one note per row, mostly same column) and the octave is a friendly 3 rows up, same column.
Would you be willing to share the keyboard layout, I'm trying to understand it but can't figure out your loop points... You have same note same octave on the same row sometimes, and it is blowing my mind lol
This is absolutely beautiful, nice touch! As I'm watching this a question pops up in head whereby since you turn the launchpad at the bottom upside down, how would it be possible that you could play it chromatically upwards, did you reprogram the launchpad?
Why do people with such great talent and creativity like you hide themselves with no face views, with sunglasses etc ? Splendid work, great opening for the isomorphic keyboard, big applause!!
This is beautiful! I find it really hard to be expressive with the launchpad keyboard, tricky to control the pressure. But your performance has such a good emotion and expression. Really like it! Also wonder, are there any suggestions on how to practice to get a better control of the pressures?
Yes, I did it via another keyboard’s sustain connected to my computer. There are also other more elegant methods using anything can convert ts/trs to midi.
Thanks! Apart from the difference in scale and the gap in the middle of the pads, the transition between the two was pretty much seamless. I found the launchpads to be more taxing on my hands due to the obvious stretching. Both are incredibly responsive.
Hello sir !! It seems like.. more responsive than your LinnStrument 128 setup, am I wrong ? ? ? I'm really really really really considering this double launchpad X setup, for impressionist isomorphic-"piano" playing.
This will offend someone (it is 2022, after all), but holy shit -- that was incredible! I just got my Launchpad X last week and I love it. I'll never get to that level, though, lol. Bravo!
Launchpad mini have no velocity and pressure sensitive keys and will not be able to produce that much emotions like in this video. Mini is more looping oriented than artistic.
I've put off learning piano for all these years, but now this is how I want to learn.
Incredible 🙌👏
Thanks so much!
Incredible work, this is by far the best launchpad performance on youtube !
Haha, who knows... Thanks so much! Your work is impeccable as well!
Beautiful, i had no idea the launch pads could be played in tandem and to such thriling effect. This is one to come back to.
This was a real eye opener in terms of how expressive the launchpad can be. Great job and thanks for putting this up.
Wow just a stunning performance using those pads. Wonderful.
this is really awesome! how do you set your isomorphic layout? is it just within the scale mode onboard the launchpad or was there any extra computer magic?
so beautiful!
hey xeno, the launchpad x has custom user modes. it's a nice feature!
this is so awesome even the salt lamp is shaking

Incredible! How is this not a viral video?
Bloody amazing mate, thx for posting this.
This is fantastic 😊
This is so good that... it's actully kind of funny! 😂 On Launchpads? Seriously! Bravo
Awesomeness
Thank you UA-cam algorithm! And thank you sir, you deserve a lot more views! Subbed.
This is very beautiful and smart, I think the current 4555 views counter does not do your work justice at all. Great job!
Thinking of getting one of these myself, used to play piano :)

so underrated! good stuff!
you my friend have just gained one more subscriber! this was amazing!
すごく綺麗で美しいです!!
Wow. You just blew me away.

How in the absolute hell are you doing this? You are incredible. Mind blown.
Man, this is dope, you are awesome!
Incredible. Well done.
Bloody great! incredible!
Totally epic! I also doodle on launchpad, but this is a whole new level.
This is absolutely beautiful, nice touch! As I'm watching this a question pops up in head whereby since you turn the launchpad at the bottom upside down, how would it be possible that you could play it chromatically upwards, did you reprogram the launchpad?
this is great! question. how are you rotating note mode so you can have them turned differently? thanks
Sublime....
So I remember seeing this video but don't remember recognizing that it was you! Super amazing bro.
Thanks so much dude!! Great to hear from you! Still have really fun memories of Aduro from awhile back.
@@JesseWashmon Same! They pop up on my FB memories every year, great times 😊
@@colonelsanderson Totally, awesome group!
Would we say this is easier than playing this pice on piano? Very well done. I wonder if you can learn this using Melodics ?
awesome talent
This sounds amazing! What vst piano are you using?
this is extremely awesome!!
Fabulous. What synth and patch are you using on top of the piano. Also do you have a sustain pedal as part of this setup?
Why do people with such great talent and creativity like you hide themselves with no face views, with sunglasses etc ? Splendid work, great opening for the isomorphic keyboard, big applause!!
Because it's the music and the skill that's the highlight. Anonymity has it's perks.
@@MrPisster True :)
wonderful
Awesome 🙌👏

Creating this set up is hella cumbersome tbh
Simply wonderful. Are you using a sustain pedal? If so, how did you connect it to the launchpads?
Yes, I did it via another keyboard’s sustain connected to my computer. There are also other more elegant methods using anything can convert ts/trs to midi.
Only 11,000+ views? Are you kidding me?
Fantastic!
Really beautiful playing!! I wonder how you launch this isomorphic layout? I have the LP3 Pro too.
Are you able to share how you attached those sounds to that device for me at all? amazing mix
My god!!!!!!!!!
may I know how to setup 2 launchpad as a single 16x8 grid/instrumnt to be recognized by the ipad/computers?
very nice
How does the Launchpad compare with the Linnstrument as a keyboard alternative? Love your videos!
Thanks! Apart from the difference in scale and the gap in the middle of the pads, the transition between the two was pretty much seamless. I found the launchpads to be more taxing on my hands due to the obvious stretching. Both are incredibly responsive.
fantastic! i have no idea how to decode the key layout
Потрясающе
Wow, this is just out of this world... How do you set up two pads to control the same instrument?
Dafuq..... that was stunning! thankyou :)
Hello sir !! It seems like.. more responsive than your LinnStrument 128 setup, am I wrong ? ? ? I'm really really really really considering this double launchpad X setup, for impressionist isomorphic-"piano" playing.
bravo!!
Eso sí es tocar una launchpad
Do u prefer this to a piano layout?
you might want to add a pedal for expression control
This will offend someone (it is 2022, after all), but holy shit -- that was incredible! I just got my Launchpad X last week and I love it. I'll never get to that level, though, lol. Bravo!
super inspiring. i wonder if it would be better in a wick-hayden layout than chromatic fourths
My launchpad x needs me to basically hit it to even sound a note.. I'd never be able to play soft like that. What's wrong with it?!
I hope to see you try the lumatone and the dodeka keyboards.
It would be nice to have those keys with this layout!
would the launchpad mini be good for playing like this ? launchpad mini keys size is still bigger than linnstrument, i think
Launchpad mini have no velocity and pressure sensitive keys and will not be able to produce that much emotions like in this video. Mini is more looping oriented than artistic.
dude
This piece really did not need the string pad in the background, the playing and sound was perfect without it.

Do the keys do dynamics or is that added in post?
