Yesss to pleasures, Lovely, and Chloe..... Chloe love story I think I like even more than the original..... It's just such a a clean fresh scent... I still haven't tried the chance eau tendre
Pleasures was one my mom and I both loved. I have to have it in my collection at all times. One sniff and it’s like a hug from her. 🖤 we also loved pink fresh and clean and I still have her OG square bottle with a little left. Had to get a new bottle for old times sake.
Please review clinique happy, clinique happy heart, omnia crystalline and the original omnia. You are my perfume twin. I just want to hear ur opinion etc.
I have to totally agree with you. The current trend in “popular” perfumes is almost all oriented around gourmand craze. That’s why I don’t like majority of what perfume tube recommends.
Exactly. Why would any grown woman want to smell like a marshmallow or a cupcake? I understand that not all fragrances can be based on Chanel #5 from yesteryear, but gourmands just strike me as scents more suitable to an air freshener.
I love videos like this. The fragrance channels who down on scents after their 15 minutes are up give themselves away as trend-riders and not true enthusiast. Let’s tip our hats at these old favorites that truly paved the way in their own rights!
Shana so happy you’re back!!! Missed you. I love you constant effort to talk about affordable perfumes that aren’t niche or really expensive. Great job!!!!
I spent 200 bucks on a "popular scent" and ended up returning it for chanel tendre and had a lady chase me down in marshalls😂 great content! Keep being You❤️
@johnitaaddison Yes, spending £££ doesn't always mean you'll vibe with a scent. You're so lucky you can do returns; I live in the UK and returns are a no-no unless the product is faulty.
I love this. I am so frustrated with so many influencers only talking only about very expensive niche or trending perfumes. I prefer classic crowd pleasers. You always come through! ❤
I agree with you concerning the "fragrance community " . Back in the day we went shopping smelled perfumes at Macy's on 34th Street bought what we liked and came back for more next go round. Also used to head to Sephora when they gave us samples of anything we wanted in a good sized spray vial. They'd spray it into the vial right in front of us. Not to sound mean but if something is "viral" I don't want it. Prefer not to smell like a high school or college kid. TY for the video 😊
It’s crazy. I get tons of compliments when I wear cloud with bbw candy candy clouds. Men seem to really enjoy that combo. I feel like the new jelly pop cotton candy body spray is what pink sugar is without THAT note iykyk it’s delicious. Goes fantastic with cloud too.
Yes - trends are just that - if you jump on the bandwagon you will look “dated” once it’s out - go with what fits your features and style - I look like the Russian or German (?) lady in “Dodge Ball” if I were to fill in my brows like the trend. Wayne Goss says it perfectly - years ago when everything was super glam, he said to stand out you just have to do the opposite of everyone - so he meant natural makeup before it became the norm - I will never feel comfortable with no makeup makeup, so I’m searching to simply without looking “sickly” and pale with less makeup. I regret decluttering certain perfumes, like OG Pink and Very Sexy for Her (2002), Heavenly (2007), and Yellow Diamond - my daughter even liked that one - what was I thinking? I could kick myself.
I wanna kick myself too when I think of the perfumes I gave away. I should've never listened to the Negative Nellies saying that some perfumes smell like an "old lady," or worse, "la vie est belle is cheap and tacky." Never again will I listen to that nonsense.
I forgot how much I loved Chloe, I had a bottle years ago and I really enjoyed it. Pink Sugar is that girl and the men really do love it. I like the red velvet one too.
Chloe EDP and Lovely by SJP are such beautiful, endearing & feminine fragrances. Just simply beautiful. They don't scream at u, but you notice them and smell beautiful.
Yellow dimond was the most complemented perfume ever. I was so insane but I stop 🛑 it because a lot of people around me buy it Lol and pick sugar is my forever in my collection ❤
So agree with Pleasures, Light Blue and Chloe, I remember I can’t help praising friends, coworkers and clients and when they tell me what they were wearing, they were wearing these perfumes. I love that you don’t stick to the usual new perfumes or trending perfumes but share with us your preference and opinions. Keep it up Shana 💖
One of the things I really like about this video and a lot of your other videos is that I feel like you help me fall back in love with fragrances I already have. It’s nice to rediscover perfumes that I haven’t been wearing for a while and remembering why I got ‘em in the first place!
Hello from California (Bay Area)🔥 Shana, I gotta give you mad props for what a beautiful, classy and knowledgeable young lady you are, and who knows that (nothing) can replace the OG scents of the past! I’m (58 years of divine) and it’s so refreshing to have finally found a remarkable young lady like you to watch and truly enjoy! 🌹Honey keep being Fabulous 🤩
I approve everything you said. And Pink Sugar is soooo good along with Fancy. I hear people say a lot of negative about it, but what really can compete with a 19.99 perfume that outlast most designer and niche?! ❤
It's interesting that most of the perfumes I get complimented on are not the super popular ones......one of them is like pink sugar but it doesn't have that burnt sugar scent. It's delicious cotton candy and I bought after watching one of your videos so thank you!
Shana…girl I am so glad you are back! You are sooooo right, this perfume world has become too much. I love your recommendations, one of my favs is 5th Avenue. I always pick it up if I see it. Also…Chloe is my absolute fav! Brown Sugar Babe has an oil that smells just like it!
Great Video! Thanks for reminding me how lovely old school designer scents can be. The bulk of all my favorite scents came from smelling it on someone else; I don’t have qualms abt asking someone what fragrance they’re wearing.
This is why I rock with you. You're making me shop and sniff my collection. Making my oldies/staples new again. You introduced so many different scents to be not just popular but smelled good. Remember Oscar De La Renta Live in Love perfume you raved about? Yup I still have it. Why? Because it smells good and not popular. A great cheapie. You're appreciated ❤
I bought a bottle of Light Blue Intense, thanks to Paulina. I didn't know at the time that there were separate versions for men and women. However, my husband and I both use the "fem" version, and he smells fantastic! In my opinion, the scent is quite unisex as my husband would never use a fragrance marketed towards women. 😆 Whether it's the EDT or the intense version, both smells amazing!
I loved this video! I think I’m gonna pull out my D&G light blue today or SJP lovely! Sometimes I’m impatient with the top note and wanna hurry up and get to the dry down lol you should make a video “scents with the sexiest scent trail” 😊
I work a drive thru ,and the area once I go outside has the wind being blocked by the building- but the car drive way had this smell coming through immediately that smelled like the best, most beautiful day ever…. I had her perfume! I use it at least once every 2.5 weeks… Yellow Diamond
I totally get needing a break (I’m on one now and kind of in a funk) but am so, so glad you are back! You are so authentic, and it’s so refreshing to hear someone who isn’t just trying to sell the same old thing. Some of your favorites are my ride-or-dies, too. And those I haven’t tried that you talk about… I want to! Something that is interesting to me about some of the scents you are mentioning here is that I like but don’t always love how they smell on me (or they don’t smell strong on me), but they leave amazing scent trails. Whenever I wear Lovely + Pink Sugar, people can smell me + apparently want to hug me! And I feel the same when I smell them on others.
Thank you Shana. I have Pleasures. I had it first in Japan around 2002 because the salesladies recommended it as a beautiful but non seductive scent. Then my sister gifted me one around 2015. And then last year, my handsome cousin gave me another bottle. This is the best floral perfume i ever had (i had intuition, xlinique cherry blossoms limited edition, today, in bloom and miracle) but Pleasures will always be THE best.
Believe it or not the last perfume I wore that got compliments was not the an expensive perfume. Surprisingly it was Avon Haiku. I had sprayed it on before work at 9AM. Some folks came into my office at around 2 PM that afternoon and asked me what was that beautiful smell I was wearing. Cost was less than $17 for 1.7 oz. Everything does not have to break the bank. Not all of us have deep pockets. Thank goodness there are some nice smelling perfumes available for all pocketbooks. The Chanel Chance Tender is (after taxes) over $100/bottle. If you got it, then spend be it. If you don't buy what your pocketbook can honestly and realistically afford and feel good about yourself.
So nice to hear you mention Yellow Diamond. My perfume of decades stopped working on me and (I had to find another) As it turns out, I've started a collection which I have never done. But YD was the first new perfume I bought. Sparkly is a good description. I call it a happy, bright perfume. Love it!
Lovely perfumes and great video. I am always asking people what perfume are they wearing, but I live in the south of Spain and talking to strangers is not a big deal even if you are shy. Thanks to a young lady on the subway I discovered Agua Fresca de Rosas Blancas by Adolfo Adolfo Domínguez, a rose perfume, and I didn't like roses before 😘
I love your videos. Chloe is such a classy scent and fragrances like Molecule 01 are so addictive! Glossier You, Not a Perfume from Juliette Has A Gun, and Paper from Commodity have that same Molecule 01 feel
Such a wonderful idea for a video! Your description of of each one of the scents was excellent, to the point, and your reasoning why they do and will smell amazing on every woman is convincing. I have only one of them and love it. I plan on getting the others little by little. Thank you, thank you, thank you❤
Hey Shana, I love your channel so much!! I love that you focus on affordable perfumes. I hate when these UA-camrs always talk about these expensive niche and expensive in general. I love your channel so much. Thank you so much. Everybody can’t afford or don’t want spend a car payment on fragrances that may not last longer than a 20 dollar fragrance. Thank you💜💜💜
Honestly it's true that Pink sugar gathers compliments, much more than some of my expensive ones. I find the scent very comforting for winter, nice everyday perfume.
I adore your videos, Shana! 🥰 I completely agree with what you said about all of these, especially Lovely! Such a beautiful, beautiful fragrance. It's so angelic. 😇✨
Hi, I have been so into my niche fragrances, I forgot about some of these designer fragrances. I wear the Chanel fragrance for work and just complimented a coworker wearing the Versace Yellow scent. I have to get my hands on it! 😂 Great video
Molecule 01 is NEXT LEVEL! I ALWAYS get stopped when I wear it. I took a photo of the bottle so I can easily share the details when asked...lol. It's also great for layering, puts a new spin on all of your favorites.
I love love looooove Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. I have different signature scents...but women always ask me what I am wearing with this one. A work colleague bought it 'cause of me. I am thinking I will lie the next time someone asks me the name of Chanel CET! 😅😅😅
Shana, it's my first time here! You are so articulate and candid in your delivery. You captived me, so I just had to stick around. I think you've convinced me to get at least one of these fragrances ❤😂
I love my Light Blue EDT with Indingo dreams from BBW! They smell identical to me. Try it out sis! I also love Chloè I wear her with my baby powder scent combo.
I absolutely love your stories related to perfumes. You have such an awesome personality and I love your little giggle. I bought many fragrances based off your reviews and recommendations, and I’ve loved them all. Thank you so much!
These are definitely some classic scents. Sometimes we have to be real with ourselves. A lot of "new" fragrances remake's or remixes of the ones you mentioned. The rant is what a lot of us are thinking. Well I know I am. 🤷🏾♀️ Thanks for sharing Shana. I enjoyed the video.
Shana, listening to you talk about fragrances is so lovely. Your laughter is charming and your description of the classics are nostalgic. 😊 Kenneth Cole Black - that's another great fragrance.
Your experience with Lt Blue is mine. It was the men’s fragrance “Fierce” that had some fabulous note that drove me crazy -they (A&F )would blow out into the mall and I found it in LT Blue. My only complaint is it is a toilette and not perfume. It fades quickly and the flankers are off and not good. I love your opinions. I love VS Bare Vanilla and hope they make it perfume. Your suggestion was right on the money. I can’t believe every perfume you mentioned I have flagged people down. I love Pink Sugar and it is deceptively well formulated. Has the sophistication of the dry down of Shalimar but younger. Molecule 01 is incredible but people who wear it can’t smell it. Coral is one I stopped a woman to ask. Lovely I haven’t liked because it smells like sweat or moisture to me but I may give it another try. My signature is Alien and the cream is better than the perfume. So glad to see you again!
I’m a newer subscriber and I love it here! Sis, you’re absolutely gorgeous and your personality is beautiful! I appreciate that you make content based on your own preferences and not afraid to showcase lesser known frags. ❤❤❤
I had almost the same story about Eau tendre. I chased this girl in the Brussels subway. It was in 2013-14. Nowadays it has become so expensive though😢
Shana J!! Good to see you!! I just realized that I have not yet found my signature perfume. I had a favorite but was discontinued, called Gucci Accenti. I have tested out perfumes at Sephora and Ulta. I just want something I can wear all year around. There is too many perfumes for certain seasons.
Another awesome video as usual. Don't overthink it because your videos are so relatable and real and i will always click on! I have Pink Sugar, Yellow diamond, Light Blue and Omnia Crystalline which brings back memories of when my daughter was litttle. Totally agree with what you said in the intro... i would definitely follow your recs over any of the fly by night frag lovers 🥰
Ive had all of these perfume and still have some like yellow diamond pink sugar and light blue the only one i can not do on this list is lovely. I tried to like it but my body now even refuses it i literally throw up when i smell this perfume had to give the full bottle away but it crazy cause i love born lovely by her so good
My special trio was Yello Diamond, Gucci Bamboo and Jimmy Choo I purchased them years ago and If I was to repurchase it would be the same the all smell amazing.
I always come back to these perfumes! If you know, you know ❤😂.
Yesss to pleasures, Lovely, and Chloe..... Chloe love story I think I like even more than the original..... It's just such a a clean fresh scent... I still haven't tried the chance eau tendre

Shana so happy you’re back!!! Missed you. I love you constant effort to talk about affordable perfumes that aren’t niche or really expensive. Great job!!!!

Girl, let me tell you something, the way you describe scents makes want to buy, buy, buy!! 💸
Girl, I get soooo into it! 😅
Her descriptions are top tier! 💯

Yellow Diamond is beautiful! A hidden gem!
Shana you are the realest. This vid brings me back to old fragrance UA-cam. Before the mania that 2020 brought
Hey girl, hey! I hate it here 😂.
You are so right about Chanel Chance Eau Tendre 😂 I get compliments every single time I wear it❤
One of my favorites.
It's so good!
I need that one!
One of my new favorite scents!
Yes, that sweet, clean, powdery vibe, I love Eau Tendre!

I have light blue, pink sugar, yellow diamonds & Omni coral all smell amazing. I definitely will check out the others.
Omni coral is my favorite spring/summer scent, smells like orange candy 🍭

I agree. So many reviewers say some of these scents are dated and they are classically beautiful.
You telling the truth if your referring to "very sexy" by victoria secret? Yasss long lasting and men were always so drawn to me.

Try cerruti 1881 pour femme absolutely gorgeous and very long lasting. ❤
I’m glad you made this video it’s an excellent topic all the perfumes mentioned are really good I love all of them minus ➖ the lovely lol
I definitely agree with the majority of these fragrances!!!! I’m always here for your videos too!!!!❤❤❤❤
I love SJP Lovely! I feel like I have to be wearing my Sunday best to wear it for some reason but it is so pretty and elegant!
I really liked Pink Sugar. My daughter dropped my bottle and it shattered but I want to go pick it up again now.
Yes Shana I couldn't agree more I've owned 3 of these and think they're amazing scents. I need yellow diamond again💛
You’re so amazing!! Thank you for suggesting these perfumes, they all sound wonderful.
My absolute pleasure! ❤️
So glad to see you again!
you put me on to violet eyes perfume❤
I still love Ciara from back in the day I am 60. Thanks for this video!
I definitely need to get Light Blue again and also its a few on the list that I want to try!! You look beautiful btw hun!! ❤🙏🏾✨️
Girl, can you believe I have Lovely by SJP and never worn it?! 😆 I’m gonna wear it now cause of you 🤍
Another awesome video as usual.
I had forgotten about some of these. Lovely was one of my favorite scent years ago.
Omnia Coral is one of my all time favorite summer scents. Refreshing but not too ‘clean’. A little warm but not at all heavy. Love it!
So proud that I have 2 of these on your list and I don't even have that many perfumes lol
