I find myself laughing and weeping tears of joy as I listen to this on the way to Dwight’s memorial today. I’m so grateful to have all of you guys as dear friends and have access to this interview. I’ll probably watch it too many times in the coming months 😂 Dwight was a giant. He was a deep well of wisdom and knowledge. He was hilarious and wildly fun. He was one of my best friends. At times like a brother, other times a father, but always a friend. We loved to sit and talk about everything, but especially how to bring a vivid vision for our families to life! Then we would share in the joy and suffering of rolling up our sleeves and getting busy on the journey together, encouraging one another thru the lows and celebrating the highs all along the way! I’m so grateful for the time we got with Dwight and how God used him to demonstrate such winsome love and grace. I’m grateful for the example you are Katie & Elisha in accomplishing and sharing so well many of the same things we loved to connect on. We are richly blessed to have witnessed and participate in a life so full of joy and heavenly purpose! Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work. Love you guys!
Watching this today after hearing about their tragic loss of Uncle Dwight. Grateful that his wisdom lives forever here on this platform. Sending all of God's peace during this difficult time.
I wanted to watch this one again, but I really had to pray..... glad I did. such a differenct perspective today than when it first aired. Some of what Dwight shares is so interesting. The other thing I love about watching these Katie, is how you watch Elisha talk, the admiration you ave for him as you focus on him is very indearing. You guys are blessed.
I can tell your Uncle Dwight has a lot of wisdom! I wouldn’t be opposed to you having some of your older(!!!) and wiser guests on multiple times. There is so much to talk about with them, you really just scratched the surface. I was inspired by hearing his stories about raising his family, particularly “your bank account increasing $1 mil”, how he has disciplined the kids differently as the years have gone on, and the pros and cons of/ guidance in being an entrepreneur.
watched this after hearing of the sudden and tragic loss of life... he seems like an amazing man- in all ways. Praying for God's comfort over all who loved and knew him 🙏
To think that 3 months later Dwight would pass… they had no idea man this is so eye opening and is tearing my heart to shreds… how unexpected life can be
I’m watching this a second time around so I can pick up on the wisdom Uncle Dwight has shared. His legacy for serving the Lord, family, & community will live on strong through all the connections and relationships he’s made. My heart aches for his wife, children, & and everyone that knew him & loved him. May God continue to bless you all with comfort, peace, & strength during this difficult time.
So cool that you are related to them! We’ve used Bend Soap and their goat milk lotion for 5 years and our whole family enjoys it! We originally got the lotion for our son’s eczema when he was a baby…it was so soothing and his eczema went away completely! I realized how soft my hands were after applying it on his legs, so I started using it, too! It’s the best! We just placed an order last week to stock up on lotions for the winter…and I am trying out their chapstick this time, too 🙌🏼 It was delivered so quickly in beautiful packaging. Thank you!! 💛 -Adrienne
So sorry for your loss, Katie & Elisha. Heartbreaking hearing the news. Praying for Marilee, their 10 children and all of your family as you grieve and reflect on the gift that Dwight was to your lives.
Thank you Katie and Elisha for interviewing this incredible couple. We grieve with you for his his loss and are so thankful fpr his wisdom shared here. Blessings to you family, may you experience the comfort only God can give. We love you guys and your family.
Oh my word❤ The way he talks about his children being an immense blessing❤️😭 I also have 10 children( ages 14 down to 1) and I can't imagine losing my husband right now. I am so sorry for your loss, Katie, Elisha and family. I can see the resemblance in your uncle and Dad. They definitely have similar demeanors. Your family knowledge is such a blessing❤ I truly love this podcast, and love the wisdom and encouragement that is a result of your hard work into these interviews!! Thank you and Congratulations 🎉 on baby Lyman. What a gift this podcast is to look back on for your family and his loved ones😭
I missed this one, but your video today inspired me to find this one. Their wisdom was motivating as I have 3 under 4. Praying for you Marilee. I'm listening to you speak in the section on children's risk-taking and I hope you do stay comfortable with what you said 🩷 I don't know you at all, but it is so wonderful to hear the way your husband was you opposite and complimented you and you will be a very competent leader of your home now. I'm terribly sorry that the man you based your life on is no longer with you. May you be supported by many and comforted by the Lord.
I am so sorry Elisha & Katie for the loss of your uncle. I am praying for Marilee and the children. And will continue to pray. God’s comfort. God’s strength. God’s peace. God’s direction. God’s wisdom. God’s joy. God’s healing. God’s mercy. God’s Grace. That He would cary Marilee and the children through this season, through this trial.
We are expecting our 2nd and are so excited! Due in April and can not wait. Would love to have as many as God will give us but in our country it is soo hard. We are barely getting by and behind our bills and car payments. Trying not to let anxiety take over thinking about buying all the necessities for baby no 2 and how we are surviving until then 🫣🫠

So excited to see u in your element today, Katie, & to hear about your Uncle Dwight, his Wife & their ten Children~
Love Bend Soap! As an Oregon resident I really miss the Bend store front. It was such a cute little store!
Amen, why limit the original blessing God gave us when we wouldn’t limit any other. So encouraging ❤ May he rest in peace with the Lord

I have bought their soap before! Great product!
I loved this podcast so much, super encouraging!
I always have their soaps! What great wisdom!❤
I enjoyed this episode!!!!
Does anyone know what happened to Dwight? So sorry for your loss! 💔
Katie and Elisha posted a new episode and they explain what happened. 💔
Wow you're way prettier and younger looking without the typical podcast makeup.
