My New Planner Obsession: Kikki K Planner, Present for my mom! Theplannersociety

If you follow me on instagram and facebook, you know that recently I have gotten into planning and the entire creative side of it! I love that i can combine my creative artsy side, with being organized and keeping my personal life and my online mixed media business organized too!
This is a planner I customized for my mom, for valentines day. I thought I would share with you step by step the inside, plus show you how to make your own custom pocket to go inside!
In the video I mention some of the items I used to create different parts of it. I will link them below.

You can slit the holes to make them removable without opening rings. Also, it cracks me up how you work. Wave your hands and *voila* a beautiful piece. The same thing happens when I do makeup - I sort of move my hands around and the face is done!

There are some great quotes you can get from the red headed hostess. LOADS of great life cards. and helps for teaching the youth

I love what you've done with this planner it is simply amazing! I've been watching so many videos on planners and have been looking on so many websites and I just can't seem to find a good planner that is either in stock or is not so high in price, if you have any suggestions at all please let me know. I want to get into planning like you do but its just become so difficult to get started.

$20!!!! What even. How'd you get it for that cheap? Even on 50% off sales they're expensive. Their full priced planners are $85 AUD for the largest.
+Farhin Alam this was back early in the year when they were on major clearance. And this size isn't 85. this size was original $40.00

+Farhin Alam I was going to say... all the info I've seen is that these are expensive. I guess if u are not in a rush u can keep your eye out on different sites and see when there are sales jump on them. If you have never used one and you're not sure u will like it, it's a huge investment. I'm using a large notebook size planner from Barns and Nobel now that was $8 on sale. I like it : ) I think however for journaling and using more scrap-booking type things I may get a HappieDori in the large size. Or maybe the other way around. : ) This is beautiful though. I love the pockets that are on the KKs too.

I just bought two of the same designs in 2 different colors: Lilac and Black... Because of this video - i'm thinking of making a small starter kit for my sister... Can i just have you put together a bunch of inserts?! lol XD i have no idea where to start...

I have my artwork printed at wallmart. They do a much better job than my printer. I have a basic cheap, $100 printer from staplers, so I don't use it for nice things like printing my artwork.

Hello Christy i love, love yours and your mom's planner. It's been few months i've been considering getting one, but most of them are way too expensive and they don't have all of the things I would like to use it for. So, your ideas come very handy to create my own.
However on your video you mention this kiki-planner is US$19, but on the link you provided is actually USD$39, so i was wondering if you said dollars when it was AUD$19 same as USD$39?
I know they currently have it at 50%, but still $40dlls is still too expensive for a binder since i won't use the inserts as well.

What paper line did you use for the dividers? Or what company are they from? Gorgeous planner btw, I think your mom will love it!
It's not one paper line, I like mixing and matching. I have had a stash accumulating for 8 years now, so I pulled from it. We use them in our kits we sell, and most of what I buy is from American crafts, crate paper, studio calico, basic grey and heidi swapp! If that helps? I am sure there is a mix in there from all of them!
