Hi bro, my height is 5ft 10 inches, I am confused between alpha pro and xc900. Which one should I get. My main purpose is normal daily commutes.
You can chose either of two. If your commute is long then go for Alpha pro otherwise XC900 is better value for money.
Do you have xc900 27.5 ? That may be the reason you may feel that alpha pro is bigger, taller bike. Cause both has 18 inch frame so no difference in it. Cradiac Storm 24 has 18.5 inch frame that must be a bit larger.

I have some few questions as i am going to buy alpha pro in jan 24 .
1. Which colour would look look best on alpha pro - green or grey, please tell your opinion?
2 . My age is 14 will i be able to ride perfectly.
If your height is around 5,4” then you will b able to ride it. As you are young, you honna grow taller in 6 months or so, so dont think therez any problem with you riding Alpha Pro.
Talking about colour. Green is a bit unique, i would say. But both, green n grey looks great. So its your choice which colour you wanna buy.

Both have the same height. Alpha pro is better value for money than Alpha. Aur jab 18k spend karne hi hai to 500-1000 bachake kya faayda. Go for the Pro variant.

I dont think there will be any problem with your height. You can easily ride it. The min height should b 5.6” or 5’7”.

Hahahahah i literally had to measure it with the inch tape.😂 the min inseam is around 32-33 inches. But you don’t need to plant your full feet to the ground to ride it. So i would suggest, even if you have inseam length of around 30 inches, you can ride it easy peasy…

It wont look ugly in any sense, its just look more like cream or you can say more like light peach colour. I wish i could send you the pic but rt now im out of station so thats not possible. I can send once i get back home.

Buy either of them, you will not be disappointed. Alpha pro at the moment is value for money option. Xc has been much costlier than it used to be. So for me i would say alpha pro. You eill not even feel the difference of freewheel and cassette, unless and until you are a pro rider. Hope that helps. Still got any doubt? Aak me.

For your height XC900 would be the better option, but as you say you wanna ride for long stretches, then Alpha Pro is the best i would suggest. Colour is same on both, but the red accent on Alpha Pro is just too good.
So i would say go for Alpha pro. Its best for your need and much cheaper than XC900. Moreover there is not much difference between the two bikes. Still have any doubt ask me. 😊
Yes one more thing bro...as mentioned xc900 comes with 24 gear with cassette nd alpha pro with 21 freewheel....is there is speed difference between both of them...or which one is best in speed
Alpha pro would b more fast as it has bigger wheels.
Freewheel is the only downside in comparison to xc900.

Go to your local mechanic for the gear issue. And preload adjustment is damaged i guess.

Havent used the simple alpha bro.. but yes, the difference is there with the suspension, and few more. Diff with the gear also, but im not sure.

You are at a border line. I would suggest you to go for XC900. For Alpha Pro you need a min height of around 5’5” or 5”6.

5.4 ke liye thodi zayada hai ye height. Infact agar kisi lady ne ye chalani ho to xc-900 ki height b zayada hai, but for a boy xc 900 is best if your height is 5.4.

Usme cassette use hoti hai instead of a freewheel. Jo xc900 ko superior banata hai over Alpha Pro. But dono hi aachi bikes hai n mujhe dono hi pasand hai.

What is the advantage of lock out suspension?
Its like shockers in your bike and cars. Helps smooth ride on bumpy roads and while doing off-roading. Hope that helps bro.😊
And moreover you can turn on and off the suspension according to your need. If riding on plain road then lock it, and while riding on trails and offroad turn it on.
As we are riding, shockers are good for our comfort. Then why we locked them? What are the advantages if we locked the shockers?
Yes they are good for our comfort, but they also absorb a lot of power that we generate while paddling. So in order so save our energy and generate more power to get higher speeds we lock it out.

5.8 height ke liye to dono hi aachi hai. Yes brakes are much better on Alpha pro. But same hi setup use hua hai on both the bikes phir pata nahi kyu xc 900 ki itni aachi nahi hai. Abhi kaafi better hui hai brakes xc900 ki, as compared to jab khareedi thi. So i guess ki jab aap use karoge brakes to better ho jayengi. Baaki koi b khareedo, both are equally good. Hope that helps.
xc900 main 8 speed Cassette hain or alpha pro Mai 7 speed freewheel hain to , riding main kuch difference hoga?
Height is 5.9" and use same road and thori off roading.
Ride experience definitely diff hai bro. Maneuverabilty xc main zayada hai, and big bike feel is on Alpha Pro. So depending on your height u decide whats best for you.

Speed measure ni ki bro kabhi…but its like any other bike. Aachi khaasi speed pakad leti hai bike. No issues.

If I go with XC 900 u told that brakes are little bit loose or they are not jarder brakes as I also do little bit of stunts like drift, wheelie,etc 2 more stunts only.
In my bike its an issue. I dont know why, but the brakes are same as in Alpha Pro. May be an issue with brake pads. They must have solved it by now. Alpha Pro has bigger tyres so not as potent as XC for stunts. You definitely need to go for XC. Hope that helps.
