Flip you need someone that knows history from Puerto Rico that's speak perfect English so they can explain to you better, you was touching some subjects that are not normally shared in the internet about our history cause is a reach history, and what he said about head starts is true that was invented in Puerto Rico than US, like the whopper from Burger King, ... Like that pill PLAN B those kind of pills where tested with puertorican woman first, US treats PR like a laboratory, they don't say that, plus Americans been trying to take the ppl from la Perla out just to make hotels for rich ppl ... ... go back and find someone that really knows how to explain cause is very interesting what you are doing here ✍️💯
Absolutely the most beautiful country my wife & I been to. People were really nice & respectful. I will say this: Be respectful and don't be a bad ass because they got something for that. My wife & I walked all over the place, the hoods, upscale etc.. said Hola to everybody and you can tell who's who and they knew we were tourists and showed us mad love ❤️ 💙 despite all the negative we've heard about the Island 🏝. When eating at restaurants ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE AND TIP! Thank you to my Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 brothers & sisters for showing us a great time. We're definitely going back.
If that would have been true, the majority of Puerto Ricans wouldn’t live in the states. Puerto Rico has a crime problem. Many murders are always committed all over the island. There is also a lot of drug use and garbage on the island. A lot of their schools have closed down due to a lack of funding.
Yo @queenzflip from a Puerto Rican man, this is some amazing content. Appreciate you putting the better side of Puerto Ricans out there. Puerto Rico has some of the most amazing and beautiful people.
Just came back from a month vacation to Puerto Rico. I'm already home sick after watching this video. La Perla is a historic, beautiful place. Beautiful people! Boricua!🤞
Dope video! Just wanted to point out. I’m Puerto Rican and just felt the need to say this. In the beginning when they talk about the slaves. Remember that the African slaves arrived in Puerto Rico 100 years before they reached the states. Our blood is a mix of African, Taino (our Indians) and Spain. Some people might have some Portuguese or French in there as well. That’s why we’re so diverse in appearance. Some are white. Some are black. Some in between. Some have nappy hair. Some curly. Some straight. Some wavy. We come in all colors shapes and sizes. I heard you say “my people” when talking bout the wall. Most definitely! Our people as well! Just something else that connects us and that’s a beautiful thing! Just wanted to point this out in an attempt to keep uniting us for those who may not know! Much love! Love the content!
Great point! The first encounter between the INVADERS and the Americas happened in the Caribbean. So the slaves "touchdown" in our lands first. A hundred yrs later the next wave of INVADERS from England arrived in North America and committed the same genocides and enslavement the Spanish and their friends did in the Caribbean and South America.
La Perla is not the most dangerous hood. They don't play around and are more about protecting the area. The "Caserios" in PR are projects and are very similar to NYC projects. In many of them you can't enter unless you know folks inside and a lot of Reggaeton artists come from those areas
Maybe now La perla is not as bad as what it used to be since covid it became more friendly to tourists but prior to that every caserio who had a #1 had to do business with la perla not only the caserios but also la perla “ you needed to know someone in order to enter as well including that Police would not even dare to enter La perla “ TO CLEARIFY LA PERLA WAS ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS NEIGHBORHOOD IN PR” if “you did not comply with their rules. They are protecters of there people and they did dumb it down a large notch and allow others to enjoy there beautiful section of the island and with the most history “la hojas how ever you can not film “ be respectful at all times and in return you will receive back the same respect love and kindness yes but never mistake la Perla for a soft place because even to view or pass the basketball court and go down them stairs you need to get the green light . That little section right there controls puerto rico underworld . PROUD TO BE BORICUA and will always remember the stories as a kid of la perla . Ahi si que se corre con codigos en esa comunidad no se corre con abuso i menos con chotiaera comica como la de chimi
I’m part Black n Puerto Rican I can and speak Spanish. Been going to P.R. since I was a kid. When my gma pass away I came for her funeral at that time I was adult. My cousin and I decided to venture into Laperla and even than the people of the community was even watching us and what’s crazy I had a camera taking pictures and all this was before any kinda of social media. So that community is very solid ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
the difference between the states and puerto rico - theyre more close knit and they dont have a price. they take pride in their heritage/culture. most of us in the states have a price where we dont stick together. in order to have structure and maintain your land, you have to stick together. not 1 piece of the puzzle can crumble and unfortunately, we dont have that

I went to la perla a few years ago and I didn’t have to call anyone I just went there and I seen someone entering and asked him if he lived there he said yes and I asked if anyone can visit he said of course no problem he took me down and showed me around a little. I didn’t go to far but it was pleasant and everyone was friendly. I felt very safe. I love my people from the island. I also love how the people of the perla protect there community and culture. Great content, Queenzflip does not need Joe Budden. Shout Out to the PR community, whether in Houston, Dallas, New York or Las Vegas they are the most welcoming people.
@queenzflip I respect the fact you went down to Puerto Rico to show the people what and how it is there. I’m born and raised out here in Hollis Queens but my parents are born and raised out there.
As a puerto rican who lives in the Perla for 45 yrs . I approve this video. I have seen all generations grow and change 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 we are protectors 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I watched the La Placita video yesterday and was like, "I tried to go to La Perla when I went to PR with my sister." I remember trying to go by the cemetery way and lost signal quick. I asked myself, "No blick and riding with my sister, do you want to put her in danger?" I just went to the basketball court in front of La Perla instead.
Friendly advice from a local. When they say no cameras just don't get photos or videos, don't go where your gut tells you don't, and more important don't do anything stupid like fight or get in arguments with no one! Those are the most important advices you could use, remember you are in others people house, don't do anything you wouldn't want anyone doing in yours. Other than that go get a beer or whatever you feel having 😉 and enjoy yourself
Flip, Thank you for coming to our Island and showing the beauty of it. Respect, Brother. La Perla is a beautiful place. La Garita is a good restaurant, with fresh seafood also nearby is Raices restaurant is really good. 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷

Facts 🎯…for those that don’t speak Spanish, hommie checked him quick and on the humble…I rewinded that part and was like Only if Flip knew what he said all his questions would have been answered..
It’s a drug den. They have tourists going into a drug den and couple of them have already been murdered. This is why going to Puerto Rico isn’t safe. Why would authorities even allow that to happen?
“Yeah he did “ n to be clear he ain’t check him he just let it be understood that it was okay once he said its all good he is with me “ n kept about his business knowing there wouldn’t be any filming where there needed to be no filming.n yes the youngen knew who he was once realized who flip was with . Also keep in mind there car at the end was blocking the section entrance that needed to be off limits the most .

I'm from Puerto Rico, now living in Buffalo NY. Home of Griselda crew.. Flip you ain't lying it's not easy with cameras but yes you can come down to La Perla but must have permission to record. All cell phone's must be only used if you are literally taking a picture with yourself in it or only personal pictures. But as far as just taking random pictures, that's not happening and that's when people come out and press you to see your intentions. Much respect and love Flip. Stay safe... I'll take you all over P.R. for free and I'll pay my ticket and we have a place to stay, my parents are out there.
That's my people La Perla, i born an i grow up in San Juan Puerto Rico, my neighbor hood is Puerta de Tierra in San Juan, im glad you have a nice time in SJ of PR.
59:11 mark the guy said you can’t record….. and the tour guy said (He’s with me) ….. I went there with my Family and a Local told us to be careful especially where that flag 🇵🇷 building at … Thanks for visiting our beautiful Island 💪🏾🇵🇷💪🏾
😂😂 for sure, flip didn't realize he was about to get pressed .. anyone watching definitely dnt want to go pass that p.r building without someone from there !!!
La Perla used to be the most dangerous neighborhood in Puerto Rico years ago, still dangerous but not the most dangerous one anymore. La Perla has its signs to warn people of the dangers that could really happen and still do happen but not nearly as much as before right now there’s specific areas of La Perla that you need to be more cautious though for sure
As a Puerto Rican who grew up in the states bt also lived jn PR this was a good video flip is very respectful of our land and people. Flip you need to go all over pr you got that type of energy and ask good questions 💯🇵🇷
The first time I went to PR I went down to La Perla, came back up and did a history tour. I told the tour guide and he was like never go down there by yourself again. Came back home and told a few people and they looked at me crazy. Good video flip.
ive been to PR ... 5 times and been to LA PERLA every single time and have never once had an issue everyone there is always friendly and welcoming and ive gone swimming in EL BOWL it was dope
Yo flip I fuck with u gang but this was a bad look for you bro you from queens u should know better than to ask incriminating answers that shit was super day room bro‼️ homie carried himself the right way and answered everything perfectly after the 20 questions trying to incite a answer that it’s dangerous and admit to criminality salute to him 💯
Flip big respect for this you have people that have never been to these places and want to go and you showing people what it’s really like not that tourist shit
I was just there a few months ago me being Puerto Rican myself I enjoyed learning so much more of my culture 🏝️ the fact they let him and film yeah props to you flip
La Perla is not the most dangerous hood. Virgilio Davila projects in Bayamon. Juana Matos projects in Cataño. Llorens Torres projects in Santurce. Residencial Sabana Abajo in Carolina. Those are the dangerous hoods.
I leave tomorrow spending my birthday weekend in P.R! Been there several times and absolutely love it. I had absolutely no problems in La Perla. If you still there take a trip to the Compo! Imma be at the Condado Ocean Club meet up wit my folks from over there and heading to the Compo!✊🏿❤️✊🏿
I definitely appreciate Oskar , David & Most importantly Miguel for actually breaking everything down. In the description you’ll find their Instagrams. But Miguel, articulated, explained the misconceptions of La Perla. It’s a community that believe in protecting each other and their roots !! Salute
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE WORD INVADED LITERALLY, that is my new title introduction. I didn’t literally invade and these guys were extremely helpful, invaded is a me thing & has nothing to do with the places that I go
Go to loiza puerto rico thats where yhe black ricans are
I remember seeing a big Puerto Rican Flag at the court when I past up front years back, is this a different court?
And thanks for this vid flip.

YOO I AM SO FEELING THIS, FIRST TIME WATCHING THIS!!!💯💯💯 Puerto Rican living in the Bronx!!! God Bless You Always!!!
Flip this is legendary right here. The one in Trinidad too.
My boy got her number while giving queenz a tour !!!! We different!!!!
😂 i was looking for this comment

The first time I went to PR I went down to La Perla, came back up and did a history tour. I told the tour guide and he was like never go down there by yourself again. Came back home and told a few people and they looked at me crazy. Good video flip.
Most places that most the world can't go in the chosen vessels can go snd be good and safe
ive been to PR ... 5 times and been to LA PERLA every single time and have never once had an issue everyone there is always friendly and welcoming and ive gone swimming in EL BOWL it was dope
I literally had no idea that the island that I came from, had so much beautiful artwork and the history of that wall 500 years old built by slaves
Let's go Flip

Yo flip I fuck with u gang but this was a bad look for you bro you from queens u should know better than to ask incriminating answers that shit was super day room bro‼️ homie carried himself the right way and answered everything perfectly after the 20 questions trying to incite a answer that it’s dangerous and admit to criminality salute to him 💯

Flip big respect for this you have people that have never been to these places and want to go and you showing people what it’s really like not that tourist shit
Thank you for the film my brother.
Antes si era peligroso y no entraba todo el mundo la perla era la perla como puerta de tierra
No, none of them. It is Monte Hatillo, Ramos Antonini, Jardines de Selles. They always killing people.
Monte hatillo, Manuel a Perez, Torres de sabana
Loíza is the bades please in Puerto Rico
My Grandma fam are from la perla...her brother and nephews....my Tío Millo R.I.P....desde el campo de Ciales..💪🏼💪🏼❤️
