I kinda wondered what happened to the Funko FNAF stuff considering nowadays, I couldn’t find that much new FNAF Funko stuff…

They actually still are. They're making a 13 itch Circus Baby plush and a Moonlight Freddy Pop and some stuff for the franchise's 10th anniversary. They just aren't pumping out FNaF merch like crazy like what they used too I think.

No, funko lost the MASTERs license, but they likely will retain a license. Jazwares has the masters toy license, and only one company can have a masters license. Funko will probably still make things, but they will not be making anywhere near as much as they have been.

TLDR: Funko will make less stuff going forward because their master license was lowered to a regular license, while Jazwares picked up the masters license and will make lots of stuff.
@8:48 Youtooz is expecting to ship out their Withereds in August and September, which is around the time Funko should (keyword being 'should') be releasing their new FNAF stuff too (or maybe late Fall/early Winter). I guess it is possible Funko just hasn't announced/shown the new merchandise yet.
They could also be shadow drops which would make a very great christmas gift for fans ❤ I hope you are right though

Well, you're kinda right. Only one company can have a MASTER license, which is what Jazwares acquired, which Funko had previously. Notice how Funko was allowed to create WAY more merchandise than other companies? They had priority and were given exclusive rights to figures and similar products.
So Funko will still make stuff, but they wont be able to make as much as they used to, because now Jazwares will have the priority.

I don't really think a lot of fnaf fans care about playsets tbh, most of them love the plush and figures a lot more.
The one worry I have about the playsets is it gives them the ability to lock certain characters behind a higher paywall

Yes, but they wont be making as much. See, the reason Funko was able to make as much as they have is because they have had the MASTERS license all this time, and only one company can have a masters license. Jazwares acquired the master license, which means Funko has indeed lost it. They may be able to strike a regular license deal, but Jazwares now has the exclusive figure and playset rights, which means other companies will likely not be able to do so.
I honestly always thought that Jakks Pacific would be the new company but still it’s fine.

No one even mentioned that the security breach ruin line from Funko was canceled because they were supposed to come out but they never did.

The ruin line wasn't cancelled. Its set to be revealed at Funkoween over the summer if I'm not mistaken, with the 10th anniversary stuff in tow.
I wonder if jazwares is gonna start from fnaf 1. Or if their gonna do humans, that would be cool. And what type of merch will they making, I hope plushies

As I kid who has a bunch of Minecraft plushies and figurines from Jazwares, I think this could be a great new business move for Five Nights at Freddy’s merchandise and Funko will feel chipped.
Jazwares had the lisence for Sonic the hedgehog until late 2014.
Im pretty sure funko is gonna keep going making merch. I think they just lost the action figure and plush license but they will keep making pops and minis and that license went to jazwares. Funko has been lacking lately so its great we're getting a new company to keep the fandom happy. Its also great that Jazwares actually listens to what fans want so we are more likely going to be getting withereds (finaly). From Jazwares products, i think they will keep the game accurate designs with better quality but maybe change a few things up. I think funko can still make figured and plushies until jazwares releases their products to shelves next year

Have you seen the fnaf hex plushies? They're so awesome they have magnets in them and you can pull there arms, legs and heads off and attach them back

The master license is what Funko had originally, and only one company can have it at a time. Funko no longer has the masters license. They can renew with a regular license, but they will be limited in what they can make.
Hats off to Jazwares for requiring the Five Nights at Freddy's licensee. I've seen that Jazwares also has a costumes line called "Jazwares Costume Play", so it'll be interesting to see them do inflatable costumes of the FNaF 1 cast. Rubies Costumes are making an Inflatable Freddy Fazbear Costume for the franchise's 10th anniversary that was first revealed a few months back at their booth in Halloween & Party Expo 2024.
And for confirmation, Funko didn't drop the licensee, they still have it. Funko has a lot of other stuff to release but they do plan on releasing a new Mystery Minis wave, a Pop Vinyl figure of Withered Golden Freddy, and two 12 inch statues featuring a Freddy and Bonnie duo statue and another one only featuring Golden Freddy, all also for the franchise's 10th anniversary but that's about it. Anything from the leaks (Even some about Security Breach Ruin line) could most likely canceled or hoaxes.

Funko may still be able to make stuff, but the reason they made so much stuff in the beginning was BECAUSE they had a masters license. Kind of like how Hasbro has the masters license for Star Wars, but you dont see other companies making stuff at the same level as them. Not that other companies CANT, but hasbro has leverage because if they make a similar product, theirs will take precedence.
@@corellioncrusaderproductio4679 I thought the name "Jawares Master" was the company's full name or something. So like with Puppet Steve thinking that Funko had dropped the FNaF license in the video's title, that was a mistake on my part too. I guess that makes sense now.
Also, judging by looking at your replies on other users on here, you could be right about the Security Breach Ruin line (That was probably delayed/postponed last year) could be released for Funkoween 2024. It's just that some fans have been taking second thoughts to believe somethings get abandoned/canceled over time, and the Security Breach Ruin line has been sitting on hold for too long even when it was leaked.
The same situation would be said for action figures and plushies of the FNaF 2 Withereds, but I haven't seen any past leaks of those so the fandom will have to wait and see if what Puppet Steve says about Funko's Withereds being released before or after YouToonz' Withereds line is legit.
@@Rocky-uq4uq The reason I don't think it was cancelled is because the 10 year anniversary wave was leaked AFTER, which suggests they are still working on stuff. It doesn't make a lot of sense why they would cancel a batch of figures then turn around and make another wave IF the reason for less releases is because of the switch in licensing.
That being said, a few things HAVE been cancelled, such as the 13.5" Golden Freddy action figure, as well as the FNaF Movie plush wave, which was either cancelled or only intended to have the cupcake, which did end up releasing.
Funko still has the Ruin Figures, The 10 year anniversary merch, (Which includes a Freddy/Bonnie Statue and a Golden Freddy Statue, as well as a Withered Golden Freddy Pop, which proves there is still stuff coming, not to mention the few silent releases they've put out here and there I.E The movie cupcake plush, and the Moonlight Freddy POP.) We'll find out if its true or not in the coming months!

@@RedKitten64 Don't be that worried. The costumes that Rubies is coming out with are adult-sized versions of all four of their classic kids jumpsuit costumes of the FNaF 1 cast that they had made years ago, and along those are new deluxe versions of the FNaF 1 cast that are more game accurate (Aside from the masks on some) and come in both adults and kids sizes, (Funny enough, only child-sized versions of their Freddy and Foxy costumes was released and sold before for Spirit Halloween last year, alongside child-sized costumes of Glamrock Freddy, Montgomery Gator and Roxanne Wolf from FNaF: Security Breach, which makes me think Rubies will do more with the Security Breach line later on) and as well as the inflatable Freddy Fazbear costume like I mentioned.
Rubies' version of the inflatable Freddy costume is way different then the one that was discovered on PureCostumes' website back in 2019 and that was never released. It was much more game accurate and even had a Bonnie one planned as well, and both of those where only made for child sizes (Where as Rubies' Freddy one is sized for adults).
I'd imagine there must've been some health and safety concerns regarding with whatever happened to those two. That's my guess, or maybe they've just ended up been cancelled outright.

Funko did not lose the license.... they're just going to do it less and probably not going to do action figures ever again.... But soon they will return with mystery minis....

A Withered Golden Freddy Funko pop is slated to be in the 10th anniversary wave of merchandising. No figures were confirmed for that wave, but if Puppet Steve is telling the truth about being told that they were in development, they could be apart of that batch. Of course, since they lost the master license (not the fnaf license completely, just the masters one, which heavily limits what they can make) they may not be able to put out figures anymore.
Funko had well over eight years to make a wave of mini figures regarding the withereds and phantoms and never did. Instead they did what a cheap company did and switched to color printed fabric and decided to release 10 different color recolor waves. Good riddance they are gone
We really need figures of the Fnaf two and we need plushy of the broken down animatronics so thank the Lord we may be able to do some good things with them

I swear ruin figures were announced last year in november its been like 7 months now and there is still no news. What happened ?
From what I've heard, the company got a new CEO so things are being rearranged and some stuff is being delayed. From what I know, the ruin stuff will likely be shown at the Funkoween this summer, with the 10 year anniversary wave shortly after. After that, we'll be seeing significantly less from funko in the figure department.
