This tourney just showed how fantastic the team work is going. Guns were hot for the terrors and the slow starts didn't help. Can't wait for the next major. Show up and show out green wall.

Been a OG fan for a long time. From my perspective, I think they should hand you the keys to the roster at the end of the year. I think you have quite a mature and thoughtful approach to the game, and that is something I would want to keep around in this camp

I think optic looks amazing. They’ve showed a few times that they can be outstayed and still win with teamwork and comms. The tiny terrors had a ridiculously good final and you just gatta tip it to em. Optic didn’t lose because of concerning things, they lost because simp and abezy lost their minds

Taking harder gunfights was the key to what your saying I think. It's hard to make good rhythm when everyone on different timings and pacing differently. I agree if your set up correctly It doesn't matter if your having a bad day you should be flowing naturally. It takes one wrong mistake or one impatient Play or over extension then everything else will crumble.

This is why I say it’s mind blowing if anyone says Kenny isn’t the perfect piece this optic team needed, he brings the fundis, & most importantly accountability. We are in a great spot. In the previous years the only way optic was winning if they come out hot and just winning every fun fight. This whole split showed we can win series without that. Keep doing your thing Ken

As an ex fps pro (not gonna say which cuz i’m not tryna get flamed), i related hella when you were talking about how most of chat thinks gun metas actually decide the game. It’s the most annoying thing because there are so many factors in comp vs a ranked match vs what stream sees. The fundamentals of rotations and team fights win games consistently, not individual gun skill or 3 sub meta. These are impossible to describe unless you have actually been in the pro scene before, but I understand you and feel you. Head up bro, y’all a brand new team from Major 1. Rooting for you

on the skidrow HP going from P4 to P5, if AG didnt team kill you the 2nd time with the nade then there was a chance for you and dashy to kill faze from p2 while the other 2 pinched ticket side from garage because you would have gave the comms that they are spawning ticket side or near back ally.
Best player optic has picked up in a long time. The intangibles he brings to the team are exactly what optic has been missing.

Good effort, Faze are just the best and they all played insane
the main frustration point for me when you guys have played faze this year is that you keep losing all the hardpoints in the exact same fashion. faze wins rotation for the second to last hill of the game, optic HAS to contest or faze can win it on this hill, faze tries to hold as long as they can while their teammates rotate to final hill, faze wins rotation to final hill and optic is left trying for a miracle break to win. its just disheartening when you guys have lost every hardpoint to them in the same exact way. its like groundhog day....same thing over and over. been an optic fan since 2011 and this is one of the best teams we've ever had....i just want the wins to cement it. appreciate you kenny and im super happy you're part of the greenwall!
Awesome video. Super insightful. Although I don’t really get acting like the rival supremely outclasses the MCW. Both guns get kills they should never get in a million years. Some of those rival kills in map one were crazy, but Kenny’s 2 piece @16:15 was equally if not more insane. Both guns are completely OP.

Yea I see what you mean @3:26. Faze actually play that hill like geniuses. As soon as Drazah kills and Simp gets info off of Pred killing Abezy he shoots like a bat out of hell trying to trade. But Pred makes it out alive and runs to fountain with Ant and Simp just leaves him and plays hill. It seemed here Ant and Pred were playing for kills and not hills. That entire Hill Faze just left those to in fountain because there was no need to go in there.

Usually in barber hard point I be spawning in alley or close to tunnel. I think pushing out the tunnel would of been a good push

The map count doesn’t show how close this was, every map came down to one play that could’ve had a totally different outcome.

Imagine if coaches would be allowed in comms during matches, Karma telling everyone off spawn where to go and the boys just worry about gunning
They’d be able to call out way to much shit that players can’t see unless they’re sitting at a monitor with headphones on somehow only watching their team
Keep believing and work on making good habits in scrims like consistent team work

I swear 80/90% of audience members don’t get this - probably driven by the talk shows / breakdowns which is what majority of the comp cod audiences watches and the hosts almost primarily judge a players performance based on K/D

little confused on the gun meta convo. if Toronto win rio with 3 subs or 2 subs then why have scrap using a 3rd sub and potentially risk fucking his pacing up? the gun meta per map must have some impact on the map pool and a teams play style, per map in order for them to even think about potentially running 3 ars or 3 subs some maps. if it had no impact then teams would just stick to running 2 and 2, ie, scrap would continue to run an ar on rio. maybe there was more to your point but an interesting listen/watch none the less! you got the next major for sure!!

By no means do I think I'm as good or as intelligent as a pro CoD player, but I swear it was 4-5 key kills and rotations every map that would've won OpTic the series.
Honestly yall played great especially you, it’s just faze played better as a team, ik yall bounce back and learn from it, but teamwork has to be a priority to beat faze if not its gone be hard, they use the buddy system majority of the time, I think optic still is the best team just gotta make those adjustments to beat faze.

disappointing hearing you talk about your gameplay in map 1 and underselling how much you actually costed the map. you were getting fried and going 0-9 is pretty inexcusable on your end regardless of team rows. you mention getting your kills up once y’all row but you just need to be more iced on solo plays. you’re an elite AR and that three piece you hit on Faze in invasion last series shows it. you just didn’t play well in this series, period.
He had 2 potentially winnable gunfights in that 0-9 stretch. The team single challing and misplaying rotations put them all in a terrible spot. Not really completely on him.
Also saying he didn’t play well in the series is insane when he was the only one shooting back. All this from a faze fan as well.
