About ADU's, just got solar a year or so ago....neighbor decided to build two story ADU that blocks solar. City does not care cause it is more taxes for the city to do what with? Fix our roads? Better parks? Better drainage? lol..whatever. My advice, find a different state if you are truly looking to change states and your job can support it. CA is a hot mess. Insurance companies are leaving the state and our rates are getting jacked, home and auto,.redicilious. Inflation/minimum wage hikes are driving the cost of living through the roof. I would leave the state if I could afford to and my employeer would support the move, but I am dug in it seems and settled.
