So sad that you mentioned on being raised in a Catholic family and taught on things that are magical without proof. I’m a Taoist converted to a Catholic. In my 13 years as a convert compared to my almost 50 years as a non-Christian, I can only say the Catholic faith leads to trust and belief in the power of our original calling to be the children of God. Thank you for a simple explanation. I wrestle with understanding what faith in God is. I expect it to be just like how I have faith in my husband - who I trust implicitly - because he has proven impeccable character. I admit I haven't studied the Bible enough to be able to recognize God working in my life. Just seems like things just occur naturally - but I sure would like to be able to see God's hand in things.
I would love you to bring something on Gods will...since we see so many people frustrated with God because they had faith God could heal a loved one but that person eventually died...
You give some nice, simple examples to demonstrate faith and trust. The only problem is that faith in a chair is very different from faith in God. Growing up we are taught not to trust in things outside of our family. Later in life, people fail and betray us and we experience how this feels. We then find out that the media, the government, and role models all have lied to us. As an adaptable creature we become cautious and guarded. Faith, in no way is easy.
6:00 always have faith in God, not just faith in faith! The suns good but I dont worship it, I worship God and try to have faith in God, I never wanna catch myself having faith or trust in a person or innanimate object, the bible says do not have respect for persons charector, so I try not put my faith soley on the individual or even my own thoughts pertaining to innanimate objects for example how moses had trust in God to go to the burning bush. the sun will rise due to his word not physics or science, they say was did humans invent math or discover math? discoverd it. math and science is good to know but I dont put my faith in math or science, I dont trust that these laws we have and are yet to discover govern or run what we observe, I know that these laws are from the mouth of God they are his word, and that the bible says the orbits stay in orbit due to Gods word, but we humans stray, Solomon wrote in ecclesiastes or proverbs that a person that has a crooked path cant be made straight, Jesus says he comes to make the crooked straight, I have faith in Jesus the word of God through God I have faith in Jesus above all I can concieve and through Jesus I have faith in Solomon and Paul etc. Therefore through God through Jesus for Jesus says all that is goof comes from God, aka the word of God.. God spoke.. I have faith that my pencil will hold together and or the Sun will rise etc. Thank you for the video
