Venasque is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.
Venasque is one of the 168 members of the association Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.
The village of Venasque is located on a rocky outcrop with steep sides, at the mouth of the gorges of the Nesque. The territory of the commune includes arable land towards the plain of Carpentras, and areas of scrubland on the heights of the mountains of Vaucluse.
